The black Bentley rolled up in front of an arcade, Olivia snapped her head back to Damien, was Damien Sterling trying to have fun? and that too with her?

He met her gaze with a meaningful smile “You like it here right?”

She gave a nod and almost immediately bolted out of the car, only her mum and Bianca knew how much she loved going to the arcade..

So this meant, either Bianca or her mum tattled her to Damien, she chose the latter, her mum has been trying to pair her with Damien and so, this was one of his ways to get into her good side..

Damien watched her back moving excitedly until she entered into the double large glass doors..

“Cover the environment.. we’ll be out in three hours time” he said briefly to his guard who was tailing behind him..

“Yes boss”

Damien entered the colorful room that was bubbling here and there with young men and women, and even some families too..

His grey orbs roamed around the room in search of Olivia until he spotted her in front of the claw machine trying to get a stuffed animal..

Bianca and Sandy exchanged glances and then back to the older woman who was sitting before them with a blank expression..

She sure was old, but her aura was very strong, one that could make anyone nervous but that wasn’t the case when it came to the two who were sitting opposite her…

Bianca’s eyes fell on the two guards by the old lady’s sides who has a stern expression on their faces like they were holding in a hot fart..

One of them shot her an eery smile when he caught her peering, she shuddered, his smile looked creepy making him look ugly..

“Okay ma’am.. who are you here to see?” She asked curtly unable to bear the silence in the living room..

Patricia cleared her throat and suddenly chuckled surprising them..

“I thought you’d never ask.. as you must know.. I’m Patricia Sterling, the old lady of the Sterling’s.. I’ve heard a lot about this small family and so I decided to pay a visit” She paused locking her eyes with Sandy who had a frown on her face..

“Okay?”

She stretched forth her hand to the guard standing by her left side, a gold colored box was handed to her immediately..

She stretched the box towards Bianca who hesitated for a while before accepting it, things were really awkward around here..

Was it the old lady? or the guards who suddenly pinned her down with their gaze..

“That’s for my future granddaughter in-law.. it’s the dress I got made specially for her.. I heard she’d be back tomorrow.. let her wear this for the event tomorrow”

Sandy snatched the box from Bianca who looked like she was about to hurl it at the old woman’s head..

She can’t be blamed, after all the old lady was there to witness the ill treatment they received at their home when Kelvin and Kiara were taken away by her husband..

Xander sat up from his bed with a small nod, he pulled the headphone resting on his head to settle around his neck..

“Hey”

“I think we need to talk bro..” He said and casually took a seat on the bed..

Charles raised his hand to Xander’s hair and ruffled it gently with a small smile..

“I’m very sorry things had to go down this way.. I swear I didn’t know that you were interested in a married woman who has kids-

Xander raised his index finger a bit, he just heard something that needed to be corrected..

“Woah dude.. she isn’t married neither does she have kids..”

Charles was dumbfounded by the revelation, she didn’t have kids?? but those children she came with to the mall addressed her as their mum the other day..

“What?”

This was the reason he didn’t pursue her, he had honestly thought that she was married with two kids..

“I’m serious bro.. her mum and aunt has invited me a couple of times to their home.. and I can confidently tell you that she’s single… but it’s fine.. if you have a thing for her, I’ll step back”

Charles snorted when he heard the latter’s last words..

“Look at you trying to be matured.. I don’t mind stepping back, after all I did promise you to stay away from your chicks.. and I’m a man of my words”

Xander pulled Charles in for a bro hug, he parted his cousin’s back gently..

“I’d have said I love you.. but I figured out it would have sounded awkward” He joked to receive a light punch from Charles..

Olivia stomped her feet in annoyance when the claw dropped down the cute stuffed purple rabbit she had been trying to get for a while..

Damien chuckled at her expression, he held her shoulder and gently moved her aside..

“There’s no need to be mad about it.. let me help, I’m sure it’s way much easier if I do it”

He collected a coin from her and inserted into the coin hole..

“I want that rabbit please” She blinked her eye at him with a small pout…

He gave a nod, a smile tugged at the corner of his lips at her cute reaction….

The claws grabbed the purple rabbit moving from side to side, Olivia’s eyes widened, she pounded his arm in excitement..

“Yes! yes! yes! –

suddenly it dropped..

Her face fell in disappointment..

“I’ll try again”

‘I’ll try again’ Olivia lost count of how many times he had said that to her in the last one hour and still they got nothing, she was getting impatient so as Damien who was at the verge of breaking the claw machine..

A couple beside them shrieked out in excitement when they got their fifth win, Damien snorted and tried once more..

“Are they doing this on purpose?!” his tone came out rather annoyed, he inserted another coin and tried to navigate the control, this time he got it..

Olivia screamed out in excitement and threw herself into his arm unexpectedly, Damien was astounded..

“You did it!”

She pulled away from him oblivious to what she did and turned around to grab her stuffed animal..

She turned back to the claw machine and pointed to a white teddy bear..

“Why don’t we try again? we might win this time again”

Damien clenched and unclenched his fingers feeling confident about it..

“Of course.. just give me two minutes..” he turned back to the claw machine..

Half an hour later…

Olivia held Damien back from smashing the claw machine with his fist, the dude was literally fed up of losing to the machine..

“Hey let it go.. it’s just a machine!”

She yelled out to him pulling him out while he continued to curse and threaten the claw machine..

“I’m Damien Sterling okay?! who do you think you are to play dirty with me?!”

Olivia smiled apologetically to the people around as she pulled Damien out with her, once they were out she bursted out laughing at him..

That was so hilarious, a full grown man like himself, cursing at a machine for playing dirty..

Damien’s anger subsided a little seeing her laugh so much..

“It’s not so funny”

Olivia smacked his arm gently with an amused expression..

“Of course it is.. it’s not everyday you see a famous personality yelling at a claw machine.. what were you thinking Damien Sterling? it’s just a machine you know?”

Damien’s lips pulled up “I find it cute whenever you call out my name that way….”

Olivia’s face burned red, she turned on her heels moving fast to the direction where their car was parked..

Damien chuckled and followed slowly behind her..
