Alexa rolled her eyes as she listened to Rihanna’s sad story accompanied by several sobs..

She was currently holding a tissue box for her friend, the floor was already littered with a lot of used tissue..

“Alright that’s enough! you’ve been crying and narrating for the last two hours! come on give me a break!”

Rihanna looked up to Alexa who had an irritated look on her face, her eyes were already red and swollen from crying..

“You’re yelling at me? your mum clearly doesn’t like me, I think she won’t let me get married to Damien, she’ll replace me with his secretary..

Alexa stood up to her feet, she was done listening to this big cry baby, sometimes action speaks louder than words..

Olivia entered the restaurant panting slightly, she searched around looking for her boss, she spotted him sitting alone by the large transparent glass that overlooked the busy streets..

She made her way to the table and took a sit in front of him..

“What was that for? you left me behind, just like…

“The clients aren’t going to make it today, their flight got delayed”

Olivia pursed her lips, so coming here was a total waste of her time.

“How long have you been using this perfume?”

Olivia raised up her arm and sniffed it, why was he interested in her perfume?

Damien fell into deep thought as he stared at her, he wanted to ask the main question about that night but couldn’t bring himself to ask..

She might have the same color of eyes as the lady that night but she definitely didn’t have her calm nature..

If it were to be her that night, he wasn’t sure if he’d have woken up with his complete body part..

Her phone rang out cutting off Damien’s question, she looked up to him and answered it when she saw Bianca’s name on her screen..

“Bianca.. I’m in a meeting..

However, Kelvin’s voice came through the next second..

“Kelvin?” Olivia mumubled out and sighed at the end..”Honey what are you doing with Bianca’s phone?”

“I miss you.. please come home quickly”

Damien narrowed his eyes down at her, even though he was sitting opposite her, he had a good sense of hearing, he could tell that she was speaking to a child..

“Alright I will.. bye.. muah” She blew an invisible kiss at the phone with a wide grin after which the call was disconnected..

She faced the man in front of her once more and her smile melted away like it was never there to begin with..

“Don’t give me that look, I had to take because it was urgent.. if there’s nothing else you want to say can I at least get lunch? and oh.. you were saying something before the call came, what was it you wanted to say?”

“Nevermind!”

Olivia rolled her eyes and picked up the menu from the table..

Cassie saw Xander off, after her daughter blatantly denied to do so..

“Xander” She called out to him with a small smile when he was just about to get into his car parked right in front of the building..

“Thanks for stopping by today, please ignore my daughter’s ill treatment towards you.. I’m sure she doesn’t really mean it”

Xander laughed it off, Bianca’s ill behavior towards him only made him more piqued about what type of lady she was and why didn’t succumb to him like every other girls did..

Cassie chuckled and gave him a nod, he was just about to get into his car when a cab stopped right next to his car..

A blonde lady hurried out, she opened her purse and handed the driver a few bills, she turned around to walk into the building where her gaze landed on Cassie and an incredibly handsome young man..

Meanwhile, Xander was too surprised to blink his eyes lids, Damien was searching for a lady who had a pair of amber eyes and coincidentally this lady has a son who looked like Damien and also had the same eyes as the lady he was searching for..

Olivia opened her lazy eyes the moment she heard her phone beeping by her bedside..

“Hmm.. so early” She groaned out and raised the phone to ear still in her drowsy state.

“Olivia.. run down to the company this instant!”

Olivia sat up with a frown on her face, what exactly could be his problem now?! wasn’t he supposed to pick her up or send a driver over?..

Within half an hour, she reached the office door panting heavily..

The door opened and Bella stepped out, she snorted as she walked past Olivia..

“Guess who had a bad morning” Olivia mocked and stepped into the office..

The moment Damien saw her walking in, he placed the telephone down and stood up to his feet..

“I got here as fast as I could.. is everything alright?”

Damien picked up a file from the table running his hand through the edges..

“Believe me you have no idea of how desperate I was to look for a little mistake from you that could make me fire you”

Olivia’s brows arched, was that all? was this the reason she had to come to work early? her face fell into a frown..

“You have no sick old father! infact your dad died six to seven years ago and you dared lie to us all??”

She rolled her eyes at him, so that was all? a sigh escaped her lips..

Damien pulled his tie in frustration, couldn’t she at least beg for mercy? that was what normal human beings do right??

Olivia yawned and walked lazily back to her small compartment, she still felt a little bit sleepy, in the next minute the leftover sleep cleared off her eyes when the door was suddenly pushed open..

Damien stared back and forth between them, he wouldn’t be surprised if he learns that Olivia was Xander’s ex and that was exactly what he assumed..

“Xander? what brings you here?”

Xander pointed a finger at Olivia “Don’t you recognize her?”

Damien’s brows furrowed, hell yeah! he recognized her, she was his overbearing secretary, if he could erase her image from his head he might be a lot better..

However, Damien felt his question was more than what he asked.
