Mummy, Daddy is on his knees

Bianca ran her hand through her hair that fell over her face, her black orbs shone with detest over the unfamiliar young lady who nearly knocked her down…

“Really Xander? you went for a ugly duckling like her? you ended our relationship with just because of some random b*tch-

The rest of her words ran back down her throat when after a deafening slap fell on the side of her face.. ..

Xander was quick to hold Bianca before she makes any more move like she had done with Ashley earlier today..

“Do you have any idea of who I am you low life?!” The lady screeched taking one more step forward to launch an attack on Bianca..

“Daisy stop this madness right now!” Xander bellowed causing Daisy to freeze on her spot, his blue eyes glowed with anger and impatience..

But none of that seemed to work on Bianca who forced her way out of his hold, this was the second time today his b*tches came at her and she had had enough of it..

“Bianca listen we already broke up and i-

“Just stop it! I really can’t do this okay?! just keep your b*tches in check and stay far away from me do you get that?!” She snarled shaking in rage, this was enough drama for today….

She turned around and left his side without turning back despite him calling out to her, he chased her midway and stopped when he couldn’t keep up, he turned around walking in hurried steps back to his car..

“Xander.. forget her she’s just-

“Move!” he shoved her aside getting into his car in an attempt to catch up with Bianca before she gets into a cab..

He messed up tonight and he was well aware of it, it had took him weeks to get her to talk to him and now he had ruined his only chance it would be almost impossible to speak things out with her now..

Olivia returned back to the dining after changing into a more breathable fabric, she took the only vacant seat which was next to Damien..

This was definitely her mum and Cassie’s doing, she smiled staring down at the variety of dishes on the table..

Her mum and aunt must have spent half of their day making these dishes..

“Sorry I kept you all waiting..”

“Nah it’s fine.. after all Bianca is yet to join us” Nathan pointed out, he took a glance at his wrist watch..

According to Cassie and Sandy, she went on a date with some guy he couldn’t really remember his name..

“Oh.. I almost forgot.. well in the meantime while we wait for her to arrive, I guess you have a lot of questions to ask me.. so do I”

Nathan gave her a nod gesturing for her to start first, he couldn’t shake off the feeling he felt whenever he met the gaze of the younger man sitting opposite him..

“I heard you started the Steele group at the age of twenty is that true?”

He laughed off at her question which was partly true..

“Yeah but not exactly on my own.. I had a few people who helped too..” he replied honestly..

“Oh great.. and did my mum ever tell you that I once applied for a job at your company but was rejected because I wore two different earrings to the interview?”

She questioned which made everyone laugh out well except Damien who didn’t find it funny because it was in a way related to Nathan..

Wasn’t he ashamed of going after girls half of his age?

He snorted which Olivia heard as she was the closest person to his side..

“Haven’t you seen Kelvin enough for you to leave?” she asked in a hushed tone..

“Just so you can get entangled to him? no way” he mouthed back in the same lowered tone..

Olivia’s brows knotted trying to understand what he meant by that, her eyes suddenly went wide as it all started making enough sense to her..

Did he really think Nathan was here for her?

Xander rushed out of his car before it could make a complete stop, he ran after Bianca who just made her way out of the cab..

“Bianca-

She grabbed his hand which he rested on her shoulder giving it a harsh squeeze..

“Didn’t I ask you to stay away?! why are you making my life more complicated and difficult than it already is?!”

She released her grip on him and turned around to leave, but he caught her hand back this time, his stormy blue eyes met hers..

“And why should I stay away? everyone has a past! and those girls you met today are one of my pasts.. I changed that all for you! I feel like you’re treating me this way just because you’ve been hurt in the past”

He paused taking several deep breaths in

“And if you haven’t been hurt by anyone.. why on earth are you pushing me away from you?! what are you scared of? I like you… something about you drives me insane.. I just want you around, not them-

Bianca’s hands went to her ears, she took a step back and then another before moving fast to the door..

“Bianca-

“Just get lost Xander! get the hell out of my head!”

Just when Olivia was about to make herself clear to Damien who had misunderstood Nathan’s visit, the door pushed open and closed with a bang too..

Cassie stood up excitedly seeing her daughter walk into the room..

“Bianca.. you’re here! Nathan stopped by to meet you-

Bianca froze on her spot, she snapped her head to her mum who had an ear to ear grin on her face..

“I don’t want to meet or see anyone mum! and it would be best for you if you stayed far away from him because he’ll eventually leave you at the end just like dad did! and I’m not ready to listen to one of your sobs!” She screamed out like a maniac before making her way up to her room

Cassie gasped softly as Bianca’s words pierced through her heart like a sharp sword..

The sound of her door banging was heard next followed by a loud crash..

“Cassie” Nathan whispered gently..

Cassie blinked back the tears that were threatening to fall but she failed hard at it, she made her way out without turning back..

Olivia saw Damien off to the porch because she had some things to clarify with him since he clearly misunderstood Nathan’s visit..

“For a moment there I thought your mum and aunt were setting you up with Nathan”

“Why would you even think like that?.. oh, wait.. was that the reason you suddenly changed your mind to stay back?”

Damien massaged his nape gently in embarrassment, he really didn’t know why he felt that way..

Taking his silence as a ‘yes’, she narrowed her eyes at him..

“Wait a minute Damien.. were you jealous? and feeling insecure?”

“No I wasn’t!” he lied taking a look everywhere else except her face, his expression gave his lie away to her..

He took a look at his wrist watch, too bad dinner was ruined by Bianca..

“I’d get going now” he announced meeting her eyes..

“Alright good-

He closed the gap between them and planted a quick kiss on her lips which lasted for only a few seconds..

Taking a step back, he offered her a small smile and waved at her dazed self before disappearing into the darkness..
