[Nina Point of view]

We decided to dine in the restaurant where the guitar was. Andy pushed my wheelchair while Kevin was walking by my side.

When we arrived at our table, Andy placed me in between the two chairs, after that he went and sat on the chair beside me.

 I looked at Andy again and I pointed at the Guitar on the stage. He sighed but still stood up.

Andy went to the stage and started strumming the guitar I had found. When Kevin saw that Andy went to the stage, he took the opportunity to sit beside me.

 Andy, who had just arrived at the stage, took the Guitar and sat in the stool in the center. He was checking if the guitar was on tuned in. He was busy fixing it. On the other hand, Kevin, who was sitting beside me, said, “Is he really that good at playing guitar?”

 “Yes! Andy was the best! He can play any song you want to.” I smiled with that thought. I am really proud of my friend.

Andy began to strum the guitar making a beautiful melody. I looked at the direction of the stage and noticed that he was really immersed in playing the piano. Kevin tapped my shoulder and I turned again to his side and asked “Yes?”

 “How was your night? Did you sleep well? I was going to chat with you more last night but I reprimanded myself because I know that you are tired.”

 “I slept well last night and after the last message we exchanged I fell asleep.”

 We were really immersed in our own little world. We were talking about everything and when I glanced back to where Andy is I noticed that his brows were slightly furrowed.

I grab my glass of sweet juice and sip from it, Kevin also gets his own drink and gestured to me to toast his glass so I did. I smiled at him after and turned once again my sight to Andy who was back in his mood. He was really immersed with the song he was playing. It was intoxicatingly beautiful to hear and when you look at him you can feel how much feeling he was pouring while playing the guitar. Soon he started singing the song,

He has a really beautiful voice and the fact that he puts his heart into it makes the song more meaningful.

And I listen very eagerly

 The song he just sang was titled a friend of mine by MYMP. It is really beautiful.

 [Third Person Point of View]

 Kevin and Nina were having a great talk on their table while Andy was still at the stage. Andy played one of Nina’s favorite songs. Andy wanted to grab Nina’s Attention and also wanted to express his feelings for her.

 [Nina’s Point of View]

 I am having a great talk with Kevin, he is telling me stories about his DJ career, and of course I am listening to him because it is about music. We both love music. Suddenly, I heard Andy’s angelic voice.

I looked at the stage and was mesmerized by his talent. I didn’t realize that I was actually staring at him.

 He looks so serious. He is singing the song with all his feelings. That caught my attention.

Kevin, who was on my side, is also looking at the stage where I am singing.

We didn’t realize that we were starting to sway, not only us both but also the customers inside the restaurant were swaying by what he was singing.

The title of the song was fly me to the moon by Bart Howard. A famous songwriter. And was played by the Star Shine Orchestra. It was really a beautiful song.

 Kevin turned to me and said, “He was really good. He has a great voice. Look at the people inside the restaurant. They stopped what they were doing and started swaying to his voice. Wow.”

I look around then look at him and say “That’s my friend, right there!” after telling him that. I turned and once again focused on the music he was playing.

Andy is really serious. What if he became a famous singer and not a photographer? I think it will suit him better.

The song ended and all the people clap their hand at him. I saw Kevin stand up and walk towards the stage. I don’t know what he would do. They talk for a little bit and then Kevin grabs the mike and speak

“Hi People! I wanted to sing a song as well. I hope you will like it.”

He then turns to Kevin again, I think he is asking him to play a certain song. Andy nodded and started playing the guitar.

His voice was good just like Andy. And what he was singing was titled Can’t help Falling In love by Elvis Presley. But why does he choose to sing that song?

Some things are meant to be.

 He sang it with the sweetest voice. I am just staring at him, not minding the people and Andy. I was really into his voice.

 Andy saw me looking lovingly at Kevin that is why his mood was starting to get off. But I didn’t care, I just stared at him until he finished.

After their performance they both look at me. Kevin was gesturing to me to come to the stage with them and because the people looked in my direction, I started wheeling my wheelchair in front.

 “Nina, sing us a song. Just one song please.” He pleaded.

“I can’t, I’m shy, besides my voice was not that good.”

“Please just one song.” He pleaded again. The people at the restaurant are urging me to sing a song.

“Okay. But I warned you about my voice, okay?” I looked at Kevin and He was Frowning. I don’t know what happened to his mood.Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.

When I started singing the people inside started to laugh at me. their laughter boomed and I was still smiling at least I did make them laugh with my tone-deaf voice.

After singing I ask Kevin “Can we go back to our table now?”

“Okay.” He was still giggling about the stint I just did.

 And Kevin and I went to our table to eat our food.

 After eating I ask Kevin, “Are you available the day after tomorrow?”

 “Why are you asking?” he curiously said.

 “Well, I wanted to invite you for dinner here and sing again.” I said shyly.

He was stunned. “Of course, it will be my pleasure.”

 Kevin went to the restroom for a bit when Andy spoke “Nina are you not thinking? Your tails would have been resurfaced by then! What would you do?

“It’s okay. I can manage. Don’t worry about me.” I assured him.

He was still pissed off by what I said.

When Kevin came back, we decided that it was time for us to part ways again.

We went home after. Andy, as usual, pushed my wheelchair in front of my room and went away. He said that he still needs to do something.

I went inside my room very pleased with what happened in the hotel.

I went to take a bath. After taking a bath I went to my study table, opened my personal computer and started researching for a voice coach online.

A couple of hours went by so fast and I was still so engrossed with the tutorial of how to be a good singer on the internet. I am really eager to learn how to sing.

When I noticed that it was getting late, I decided to turn off my computer and went to bed.

In the morning, I wake up still happy. I went to the dining table, ate my breakfast then went back to my room.

I just spend the whole day practicing and watching videos that will help me to enhance my singing skills.

And as usual when I saw that it was late, I went to bed again.

The morning comes. And because I will see Kevin in the evening, I can’t help but to feel excited and giddy.

My voice seems to be better. Truly my hard work paid off. My tone-deaf voice became more beautiful. My voice was really better than the last time.

I went to the breakfast table and saw that Andy was there. “Good morning, Andy! I am really excited for later.”

“Good morning too, eat your breakfast already. I still have work to do but I will be back to fetch you later. I will still accompany you to Kevin’s hotel.” He said as he munched on the peanut butter and jam bread he was currently eating.

“But.” I tried to tell him that I will be okay without him.

He cuts me off “No buts. Okay?”

 “Why?”

“Because I still don’t feel at ease with the thought the you are going to be alone with him again and of course my fear that you will be exposed to the public.” He said grimly.

I slumped my shoulder in defeat and said nothing. I understand what he was saying.

 When he finishes eating his food he goes to work. Leaving me behind.

 I was still eating my breakfast when he left. When I finished my plate, I went inside my room again to practice my singing skills.

It was already three in the afternoon when I decided to look for a dress for our date. I scrambled through my closet. I saw a white off shoulder dress, below the knee and was very flowy in style. I decided to wear that on our date.

 Five in the afternoon, Andy came back and I just finished taking a bath. He knocked on my door and said that he will just take a nap and then will be back before we leave. I shouted and said okay.

In the evening me and Andy went to the hotel as scheduled. Kevin was waiting for us in the lobby.

We went inside the restaurant and ordered food.

After we sat down, the waiter stepped forward to take our order. The first one to order is Kevin

 As he was already ready to tell the waiter his order.

“Hi, I would like to order a medium rare T-bone steak with mashed potato on the side, a bottle of your famous wine, sea bass and for dessert chocolate brownie” he really knew what he wanted. After ordering his food he looked at us.

I looked at the menu, scanning for something I like and heard that when I heard that he had finished what he wanted to order

“And you, Miss?”   The waiter turned to me and continued to say, “What can I get you today?” Then the waiter standing beside us asked me what I needed to eat.

“I just want a garden salad, medium rare rib eye steak, French fries and for dessert a cold vanilla ice cream.” I looked at Andy to tell him that it was his turn to order.

.”All right.” The waiter said. He then continues to write in his handy dandy notebook. After a few minutes he looked at Andy and said, “And for you sir? What can I get you?”

Andy scanned the menu “I also want some Roast sirloin beef with Yorkshire pudding, horseradish sauce, roast potatoes and onion gravy and for dessert some vanilla ice cream.” The waiter again writes down Andy’s order.

The waiter lifted his head and said, “Sir, ma’am you order are medium rare T-bone steak with mashed potato on the side, a bottle of your famous wine, sea bass and for dessert chocolate brownie, a garden salad, medium rare rib eye steak, French fries and for dessert a cold vanilla ice cream, Roast sirloin beef with Yorkshire pudding, horseradish sauce, roast potatoes and onion gravy and for dessert some vanilla ice cream. Would that be all?”

“Yes. that would be all. Thank you.” we all said in unison.

“Alright. Thank you and please wait for your order patiently.” The waiter then left with the menu.

After the waiter left Kevin looked at me and said, “Do you want to sing now?”

After the waiter left Kevin looked at me and said, “Do you want to sing now?”

I nodded. He then went in my back, pulled the wheelchair and then pushed it forward towards the stage.

When we arrived, he asked me what I wanted to sing.  

 “Do you know the song close to you?” I asked

“Yes, do you want me to play the song for you?”

“Please.”

He started playing on the piano in front of us. While he was playing, I started to sing,

I look at him handsomely playing on the piano, his moves were perfect. I can’t help but smile. When the chorus came he started singing. We sang the chorus together.

That is why all the girls in town

We looked at each other and smiled. I looked around and saw that most of the people in the restaurant were watching us.

I saw them getting their mobile phones and started to record our duet. I smiled at them. Our voices blended together.

Kevin: “Close to you.”

As the song was about to end, I turned again to him and saw that he was looking intently at me.

 Kevin: “Just like me, they long to be.”

Nina: “Close to you”

We both sang the end of the song.

We stood up and bowed our heads after performing on the stage. When I look up, I saw Andy, who was sitting quietly on our table unhappy.

The people clapped their hands.

 Some viewers are Kevin fans.

 After recognizing Kevin, they are very happy.

Kevin and I were busy greeting the masses, while the waiter went up to Andy’s side and put the dishes we ordered.

The waiter then put all our food on the table. After putting everything he turned to leave again. Andy looks at us with creased brows.

 When we finished greeting his fans. We went down and walked straight to our table.

Andy was not talking; he just looked at us and when we finally sat down. We started eating right away.

After eating we said our goodbye.

Andy was still pissed off and didn’t want to talk. He just pushed my wheelchair.

We went home. When we arrived, I asked him if he wanted to stay but he turned me down right away. I don’t know what his problem was. He looks so angry and I don’t know what I did to make him like that.

After he said that he turned around and left. I then went inside my house, went directly to my room, took a bath and went to bed with a smile on my face.

[Third Person Point of view]

When the morning comes. In Andy’s house

Andy woke up a little early. He stood up and went directly to his refrigerator to get a glass of milk and a bowl of fruits or cereals for his breakfast.

he was still sleepy but he managed to get everything, he was going to the dining table and to his horror he found that Kathy was there sitting comfortably as if it was only natural for her to be there.

Because he was shocked, the cereal he was holding was thrown away in Kathy’s direction. The cereals splattered on her head.

 “What are you doing inside my house?!” He was really shocked to see her. His voice raised because of that.  

 “I went to your grandparents’ house the other day. I told them that you and I are lovers. I told them that we are in love. They didn’t argue with me. Instead, they smiled at me and gave me a duplicate key to your house. And that is why I am here.”

“What are you talking about? We are not lovers! I did not agree with you!” He shouted at her.

“Well in the eyes of your grandparents I am your girlfriend,” she said confidently.

Kathy realized that Andy and Nina really don’t have any relationship. She stopped suspecting because of what she saw on the news.

She went to his side and said, “I saw the video of Kevin and Nina last night. They were very sweet. I know now that you are not in a secret relationship.

“What video?” he asked her. He looked at her stupidly.

“Are you still going to deny?” she answered him, she then went to the side where she put her bag and got her phone inside. She opened her phone and went to his side once again to show him the video from last night.

She continued to say “here is the video from last night. Someone took it and uploaded it to social media. Look how sweet they are.” She was showing him the video of Kevin and Nina singing.

Kathy thought that it was their way to announce that they were together.

[Andy’s Point of View]

Kathy showed me the video of Andy and Nina from last night.

“It was not true. They are not together. That video didn’t clearly state that they announced their relationship, I was with them, they just sang a song and nothing more.” I said firmly to her. she just ignored what I said and went on to say,

“If that’s the case then maybe in the near future they will be together. They are perfectly matched. Oh, how lovely they would be if they both decided to start a relationship.”

I furrowed my brows “They are not a good match, look at them, they don’t have any chemistry. I think Nina deserves a man that will take care of her, a better man, a man that will accept all her flaws. And I think Kevin was not the one. So, stop shipping them both.”

After listening to my reply, I saw her thinking deeply.

[Third Person Point of view]

Kathy was thinking deeply. She then looked at him and said, “And that man, is you? You are saying that you and her are better together than Kevin? Is that it? her eyes were scrutinizing him.

“Of course not! I am not thinking of that. I was just being a good friend to her. I don’t want her to get hurt.” He said instantly.

He stopped for a moment and said “You are just thinking too much.”

After he answered Kathy looked at his whole being. He noticed that his hands were shaking. She didn’t push the subject and just shrugged her shoulders.

He was about to say something again and Kathy butted and said, “It is good to know that you don’t have any feelings for her because you are mine. And I intend to keep you with me. okay?”

He was froze for a moment and the glass of milk slipped through his hands, the milk splattered

On the ground instantaneously.

He was out of his reverie when he heard the crashing of the glass. He looked so irritable in everything.

[Nina’s point of view]

In the evening, the media called us to invite us to an interview about the video circulating on the internet.

They invited us in one of their programs, they told us if we can have a duet together and after the song ends, we will have to kiss each other.

Andy, who was on my side, was almost furious when he heard what the employee told us.

 Kevin asked my opinion very gentlemanly, and I agreed.
