Mated To The Twin Alpha Heirs

She The One?

"You'll be fine."

Lucas whispered in my ears.

"The school is so big"

Truly it was so big. Twenty times bigger than the one in Moon Rock pack, and imagine how my former pack academy had been intimidating. This place was a lot more intimating. My car key fell from my hand due to jittered nerves, I picked them up and tried to steady my steps so I don't fall. I did not feel so confident anymore, even with my mother's 'fairy godmother' coming-to-the-rescue exquisite fashion sense was not doing its intended job. Or maybe it was but my nerves would not let it work. Even the brand new car David had given to me, it was supposed to buff me up but I felt deflated and weak already. I put the key in the fashionable portable cross-body slung over my shoulder before I lost it. We walked into the door and students' eyes were on us. The attention made me want to faint, but I held myself. Passing out on my first days would not do me any good. It would worsen an already worse situation.

I heard people whisper, saw boys look with envy and girls had smitten looks on their faces aimed at all of the four boys. No one seemed to be noticed me yet.

"Hi Lucas."

It was a blonde girl who couldn't be more than seventeen or eighteen harboring a lovesick look in her eyes.

"Hey."

Lucas winked at her and she sighed hopelessly.

I saw another one wave at Zach, he drew closer to her enough to trail a finger on her face, she squealed happily. It made me wonder if this was high school. Were there still horny teenagers in college? "Good morning Trenton."

A very pretty raven-haired goth whose dressing was as brooding as Trenton's personality smiled at him. I felt pity for her because there was no way he was going to answer her and to my expectation, he did not. The girl eyed him admiringly some more. Well, at least there was someone who found guys like Trenton interesting. I saw some adoring Aaron with their eyes too and out of curiosity I turned to see his reaction, he had on smiles. Him and his charming smile. "Get use to the attention, Kathy."

Lucas whispered in my ears.

"Why?"

"Why not? You look beautiful. Mom did a very good job this morning."

"How did you know it was mom? It might have been me."

"One, I saw her in your room this morning. Two, you're cool but not cool enough to draw up something like this yourself."

"Ouch."

"Oh sorry but it's the truth. You're my best sister you know."

I chuckled. "I'm your only sister."

"Oh yeah. You're still the best."

I shook my head amusingly, my nerves almost forgotten. And I was quite glad that no one had really noticed me. They had all been focused on the guys. It eased the nerves a bit. "Where's the administration block?"

I asked Lucas.

"For what?"

"I need to register and get everything else I might require to start the semester."

"Remember dad owns the place."

"I know, still I need to go about things the proper way."

"Aaron, is it compulsory for Kathy to go to the admin block?"

Lucas had turned to ask Aaron.

"No, why?"

His gaze swept back to me. "See? You're all covered. Your name is there already. A registered student of Stone Shadow academy."

"Well, that's okay."

I was even glad it was so. It would save me the stress of walking about campus with registration files. Going from block to block, offices to offices of non-academic staff who would treat you depending on their mood. I was in no mood for awkward meetings especially when a student walked up to you asked you for direction you did not know but you have to try to help them find out so you're not considered rude and insensitive.

"So when is class beginning and where is mine? Can you take me there or at least direct me?"Content © NôvelDrama.Org.

"Chill Kathy, you just got here."

I smiled embarrassingly. "Sorry."

"I know you love school and all but tone it down some."

Zach commented from beside me.

"Sorry."

I apologized and kept mute.

Then I noticed the boys take a detour, Lucas leading me with them.

"Where are we going to?"

I asked him, surprised we had taken such a turn and we were going out of the building.

"The bleachers."

"Why? Should we not be having lectures right now?"

"We all checked our timetables and none of us have any morning class."

"I might have."

I countered.

"Checked yours too, hot legs. You don't."

"And how would you know that? You're not in my class, are you?"

I looked at Zach.

"No, I'm not." He brought out a paper from his bag and gave me. "Check that. You're in second year."

I took the paper and perused through, and true enough second years had no morning lectures. Even all the years too. How possible was that?

"But how can all the years not have morning classes? Was it prearranged?"

"It has always been so. Though, sometimes they change it and notify the students when there's lecture."

"Okay."

I sighed and gave the paper back to him. My my next lectures was around noon, same with the other years too.

"Believe me now?"

Lucas raised his brow.

"I had to see for myself. Also, what year are you?"

"First year."

"A freshman."

I smiled.

"Always determined to remain fresh."

He said in a very dramatic voice.

"What about you Zach?"

"I'm in third year."

I looked at Trenton and Aaron, then removed my eyes. Trenton would definitely not reply me and I had already pushed a button this morning, no need to push another one. Aaron was not that free with me. He was not rude or anything like that but it was hard to form a bond with him. I did not know why I said that but there was just something about him that just...I did not quite understand. Maybe until I fully get to understand him, we might get close. "Trenton is in fourth year, a semi-finalist. Aaron is a finalist."

Lucas provided.

I nodded in understanding. We had gotten to the bleachers and taken a seat. Trenton was on his phone, Zach too. Lucas had my arms hooked in his as he explained whatever he thought needed explaining to me about the school and pointed out buildings we could see from our position on the bleachers and gave me information about them. Aaron was being his calm, gentle self. His eyes roaming his surroundings in mild interest. "Hey, Aaron."

I turned to see the owner of that voice.

"Hey, Kay."

It was a beautiful girl with light brown hair that was shoulder length and curly. She wore make up and though she was pretty, I felt it was too much. With interest, I watched her walk up to Aaron and seat with him. "Hey guys."

She waved at the boys, they waved back except, of course Trenton.

"Trenton, you never seem to reply me but one day you will."

She told him but the later did not even spare her a glance. She did not seem to bothered by his cold demeanor. In fact, she looked like she was used to it.

Just then, our eyes met.

"Is she the one, Aaron?"
