Theresa said, “I’m planning to move out in a couple of days, so, I just packed some things.”

When Charlie heard her words, his eyes locked on her and never moved away.

After a long time, Charlie held back his emotions and asked, “When do you plan to leave?”

“After Leonard and Ben get their report, I guess.” Theresa said, “The divorce certificate should be issued before that?”

She was obviously urging him.

Charlie pulled the corner of his mouth, “Since you’re in such a hurry, it’s absolutely that it can be issued. In the meantime, I will also have Jonathan complete the formalities for those things that I promised you before as soon as possible.”

They hadn’t gone through with the divorce certificate because the formalities for those things he gifted to her still needed to be completed.

Theresa said, “Well I’m going to bed then! You should go to bed early too.”

She didn’t sleep well last night, so, she wanted to get a good night & sleep light now. When Theresa finished, she lay down on the bed.

Charlie went to take a shower before coming back to bed.

Seeing her lying on her side, with her back to him, he wondered if she was asleep.

He lay down, and everything that happened last night passed through his head.

He felt like he was drunk, yet he didn’t seem too drunk.

It was just that he then remembered that she was about to move away from his house. Why was he so cheap that he still didn’t want her to go?

Why was he so obsessed with her?

He obviously could find a better woman than her!

Thinking about it, Charlie rolled over, turned his back on her angrily, and started to sleep.
