Married to the Boss: A Love in Disguise Chapter 26

“Mr. Cohan, thank you!” If he hadn’t come in time just now, Lumma felt that she would meet her doom.

Steve still ignored her and walked into the night with a few steps.

Steve left, but Lumma still had to buy tampons.

She looked left and right and walked cautiously, for fear that another wild dog would have come out. NôvelDrama.Org holds © this.

Fortunately, she was not in danger again. She bought the necessary tampons and returned to the hotel without a hitch.

When Lumma returned to the hotel, she

for her for a while.

Saw Laura at her door, who seemed to have been waiting Lumma remembered that Laura didn’t come with them yet, but Laura was here now.

The mother and son appeared and disappeared mysteriously.

Laura smiled and said, “Adam is worried about your injury, so he asked me to come over to check it.”

Lumma invited Laura into the room, “Laura, I’m going to trouble you again.”

Laura checked Lumma’s wound quickly and said, “Fortunately, you reacted quickly and saved Adam. If he got injured, it would be disastrous. Please don’t stand on ceremony in the future. If you need help from my son and me, just tell us.”

Lumma asked, “Laura, when did you come here?”

When Laura first met Lumma, she thought the girl was pretty good. Moreover, Lumma saved Adam today, so Laura stopped treating her as an outsider. “The job of our mother and son is to serve Adam. Wherever he goes, we will follow.”

Lumma understood the mother and son had been following Adam, but she couldn’t notice them.

After Laura helped Lumma reapply the medicine, she saw what Lumma bought, “Is your menstrual period coming?”

Lumma nodded, “Well, it’s about ten days earlier.”

When Laura had seen Lumma’s pale face before, she had supposed that it was the result of the wound in Lumma’s arm, but now Laura discovered the truth. “You are not used to it as it is your

first time to come to the plateau area, and your menstrual period will be messy. I will prescribe you some painkillers, but you can’t take too much of this medicine.”

Lumma nodded. Her arms and stomach hurt so much that she was too weak to speak.

Laura poured her a glass of hot water. “Take the medicine first, and go to bed early. If you still feel unwell, please come to me directly.”

“Okay.” Lumma took her medicine, clutched her stomach, and lolled in bed.

“Have a good rest.” Laura helped her tuck in before leaving.

After coming out of Lumma’s room, Laura said to the right side of the balcony, “Lumma’s wound is not serious. Her face was pale because of being scared by the wild dog and the menstrual discomfort.”

In the night, Adam walked out slowly, “Why do I need to know the menstrual period of my assistant?”

Laura said, “Then I spoke out of turn.”

Well, who asked Steve to follow Lumma after seeing her walk out with a pale face? Who even called Laura to wake her from her warm bed? But now, he was denying it.

Adam added, “You are bothered tonight.”

Laura replied, “Don’t worry. I will guard her until dawn. There will be absolutely no accidents.”

Steve also came, and he said with a blank face, “Mr. Hills, it’s confirmed that the landslide happened because the villagers fired cannons to clear the way today and that it was not against you.”

Adam didn’t speak anymore, lit a cigarette, and looked at Lumma’s door.
