Chapter 3277 Searching for Sasha
"Regent, I've heard a lot about you. Now that I'm meeting you in person, you really are as impressive as they say!" The quirky minister, wine glass in hand, approached Matthew and Gadel, giving a polite bow from afar. Matthew grinned. "Oh, those stories are all blown out of proportion. Keep flattering me like this, and I might start believing them."
Once the banquet wrapped up, everyone left feeling pretty good. Everyone thought, It turns out the Regent isn't as harsh and ruthless as the rumors claimed he seems easygoing and approachable. The following morning, Matthew was up at the crack of dawn.
"You know why I'm really here, right?" Matthew asked Gadel as soon as he saw him. He was eager to leave. His wife was all he could think about, and sticking around the palace was out of the question. Gadel suggested, "Why not stick around for a few more days? I'll have my men start looking for Sasha."
"If you find her without me being there in time, she'll freak out," Matthew responded, clearly worried.
Gadel sighed, giving him a look that said he understood. "I won't hold you up, then. Take the Regent's token here, and here's mine too." He handed them over, adding, "If one doesn't work, the other should do the trick. Just pretend I'm there with you." Matthew nodded. "Sure."
Gadel hesitated, looking a little embarrassed. "Honestly, if my magic doesn't help, I doubt a couple of tokens will."
Matthew glanced at the badges, his expression turning serious. Still, he nodded in appreciation. "Thanks. I owe you one."C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.
Gadel smiled and stated, "You don't owe me anything. Without you, we'd probably be dead and buried at the foot of Sacred Mount." He then

walked Matthew to the palace gates, where the guards passed him some keys.
Gadel reassured Matthew, "I'll make sure the soldiers keep an eye out for Sasha, so try not to stress too much."
Matthew tried to smile as he thought, Thanks, but tracking a girl down in Montiria is going to be nearly impossible.
"Fingers crossed," he muttered, climbing into the car.
The car's engine revved up, and he was soon speeding away, unsure where to go.
Meanwhile, Aelion quietly slipped into a villa garden on the city's outskirts. Arabella, relaxing outside, immediately got to her feet when she saw him.
"Master," she greeted him with respect.
Aelion nodded slightly, taking in her appearance. She wore a simple light blue dress her hair pinned up with a jade clip. Even with her modest look, there was an undeniable allure about her like a charming neighbor with a quiet grace.
"Are you interested in getting stronger?" Aelion asked, noting how effortlessly she carried her allure. His expression wasn't one of desire-it was simply one of recognizing her potential. Arabella's eyes brightened. "Yes! I want to get stronger and be your loyal supporter forever!"
Aelion had expected this reaction. He pulled two compendiums from his cloak and explained, "These
