He would call them when he got home, he thought. David wouldn’t be able to punch him if he was in the safety of his home. He flagged down a cab and got in. He would take a long shower when got home, and then try to forget all about…..
It was then he realized…. That he didn’t even know this redhead’s name.
He hadn’t asked.

Dimitri drummed his finger tips noiselessly on the conference table as he watched Raymond Darcy list out the strategies Darcy Enterprises intended to implement to increase the company’s revenue.
He had a look on his face that said he was tired of listening to this crap, but deep down, he knew that a part of him admired Raymond Darcy. The man had built his company Thirty years ago, but now the company was in debt and could go bankrupt, and Raymond Darcy wasn’t having any of that.
Of course Dimitri loved and admired Darcy’s determination to keep his company running, but the man had to realize sometime that this was a lost cause. Dimitri owned ten million shares, and to ensure that he didn’t lose everything, he intended to buy the entire company, break it down and sell the pieces. He would make even more money that way.
Raymond Darcy didn’t want that, and was fighting tooth and nail to keep his company. Dimitri had to admit that the new plans could actually work, along with the two hundred and Fifty million contract Raymond was expecting, but he wasn’t willing to take that risk…. And he wanted to get more money out of this deal. The man would just have to come to terms with the fact that Darcy Enterprises’ existence would soon be a thing of the past. It wasn’t personal. Just business. Raymond had to know that. He wasn’t new to the game.
He forced himself to concentrate on what Raymond was saying now.
“….. As you all know, my daughter would be assuming control of the company after my resignation…” Raymond was saying.
Dimitri scoffed. The man was actually talking about ownership of a company that would soon cease to exist. He almost laughed out loud. Raymond Darcy was in denial and indeed a tough old bird. But hey, having stubborn people like him in the game made the whole thing even more interesting. Especially the moment before the kill when the company was finally his.
He was looking forward to it in fact.Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.
Raymond continued speaking, “…. She was actually supposed to join us for the meeting this morning, but I guess she got held up…..”
‘Of course she did,’ Dimitri thought sarcastically.
“….. But that’s fine…. She will be working with us from today…. And I’m sure that even if she isn’t here now, I will be able to formally introduce her to all of you at the fund raiser for members of the company next weekend… ”
Raymond’s speech was interrupted when a lady walked hurriedly into the room, “….. I’m so sorry…. Here I am. Here I am” she said, rushing in with an apologetic smile on her face.
Dimitri’s head whipped up, and his heart did a little somersault when he saw the woman who had just stepped in. He almost couldn’t believe it, but it was her. He would recognize that voice anywhere,… that voice that sounded like sin… that had moaned over and over in his ear two nights ago. And that face,…. The one that had haunted his dreams for two days now.
He had thought he wouldn’t see her again, but here she was. Walking into the large conference room like she owned it. Well, technically, she did… Or her father did… At least until he bought it. Buying the company would give him control of the business.
It dawned on him then…. She was Raymond Darcy’s daughter.
And suddenly, the look of surprise on his face vanished, and it was replaced by a devilish grin. Suddenly this whole thing with Darcy Enterprises had gotten even more interesting, and he couldn’t wait to see how things played out.
The adventure wasn’t over after all.
The slutty, smokey eye makeup was gone, replaced by a simple one with pink lip gloss. The dangling earrings, necklace and Maang Tikka she had worn on stage were all gone too. Her auburn hair was tied back in a ponytail, to get it out of her face, he supposed, but there were locks falling into her eyes, and she tucked them behind her ears to get them out of her way. Dimitri had to stop himself from thinking about tucking those locks of hair behind her ears for her… They reminded him of how they had fallen over her face and shoulders when they had sex. Dang! The woman was gorgeous, and Dimitri knew that he was in deep.
Her beautiful face looked more pronounced, and she looked even hotter with the glasses she was wearing. It gave her a hot, nerdy look. Her shirt, which showed a tiny portion of her cleavage, was tucked into a black skirt that fitted her nicely, hugging her hips and bottom perfectly, while showing off a pair of smooth creamy legs. Her sexy black heels clicked on the floor as she walked past him.
The woman looked so amazingly different, so…. professional. Nothing like the lady who had put on a sexy swimsuit costume, knee high boots and seduced the hell out of him. Not that he had a problem with her look that night or right now. She was still very hot….
A waft of her perfume drifted into his nostrils as she walked past him, and he felt his groin tighten in response. She moved to the front of the conference room where she stood with her father.
As if her scent released a floodgate, the memories from two nights ago poured forward. Watching her dance. Talking with her. Kissing her. Being inside her. Her soft skin, brushing against his chest.
In response, his body stirred, hardening as image after image of her twisting and arching beneath him, taking him, flashed across his mind’s screen like an HD movie.
He had thought about her a lot…. Way too much for someone he met once and had no hope of seeing again. And he felt his pants tighten a little from the blood that rushed to his cock. It was something he had observed that happened anytime he thought about her.
