LUCIFER'S HUMAN BRIDE

SPECIAL EARRINGS

"OK, I'm on my way," she said loudly enough for Medusa to hear, and removed her hand from her head. Taking a deep breath with her hand on her throbbing chest.

"I was just communicating with my husband. He asked me to go to him," Lucinda said.

"Why? What's wrong?" Medusa asked, raising her brow.

"He says he has something to give me that won't make the human discover that I am a demon in disguise." She replied.

"Okay, go, but I will go with you." Medusa said trying to bring out her wings when Lucinda stopped her with her hand.

"No, I will go alone, and I will be quick." Lucinda assured her and spread her wings in the air, leaping down the balcony toward the earth's ground as she entered it like a spirit, passing layers after layers on her way to Lucifer's castle. She flew toward his castle at great speed, flapping her wings in the air, with her eyes fixed on it. She fell from the roof into the castle and landed on the ground in the middle of Lucifer's throne room, breaking the ground as she stood there, staring at Lucifer, who was in his throne.

"You are here so fast; that was a great speed; you even devoured the ground; you must be serious about this mission." Lucifer teased. She ran to him on his throne and sat on his lap, hugging and kissing him on the cheek with a beaming smile on her face.

"I missed you," she stated.

"Stop flattering me; you were only gone for a day." He replied.

"So where is the thing you said you wanted to give me? I need to go find that human; Medusa is waiting for me." she said biting her lower lip.

"You will go afterwards; that's not a problem; instead of going around looking for him, I will tell you where he is myself," he stated. "How do you know where he is?" Lucinda questioned.

"Excuse me, I am the king of the underworld." He said, and she smiled. His massive black trident, which was surrounded by lightning, appeared in his hand. He hit the edge of the trident on the floor, and three demons came out of the ground carrying a red coffin. They bowed their heads in respect as they saw them.

"Greetings, your highness." They greeted in unison. This content © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

"Open it," he commanded. They squatted and opened the coffin together, revealing two gleaming pairs of deep blue earrings neatly placed in the center of the coffin like a ring box for the earrings. Lucinda's jaw dropped as she saw that it was not what she expected. Lucinda walked closer to the coffin with her mouth slightly opened as the color of the earrings filled her beautiful eyes.

"Take it and put it on; as long as you wear it, he won't notice you're a demon; he'll think you're a human." Lucifer said. Lucinda leaned forward and squatted a little, taking the earrings out of the coffin. She held one of them, attempting to put it in her left ear. When holes appeared at both of her earlobes, she gently wore them.

"It looks lovely on you, dear wife," he said as he stepped behind her, brushing her hair back to reveal the earrings.

"You may go now; I will send a demon to drive you there." Lucifer said, waving his hand. "Where?" she asked.

"To the human, of course, go and make daddy proud." He patted her hair before waving his hand at her and making her vanish. Lucinda took a deep breath as she found herself in front of Medusa, who was pacing around on the balcony. "Whoa! How did you do that?" Medusa asked, a little startled.

"I didn't teleport here on my own; it's my husband's doing," she replied as she realized what Medusa was talking about.

"So where is the thing he gave you?" Medusa asked with a worried look.

"Huh? Can't you see that I am wearing earrings." Lucinda said showing Medusa the side of her face so she could get a glimpse of the earrings.

"Wow, it's a sapphire." Medusa said touching the earrings in Lucinda's ear. "Sapphires are very rare, and there are a lot of things they can do. Since you have something to protect yourself from the humans, I will just escort you halfway, so I don't get caught. The mission is yours anyway." Medusa stated.

"Okay, I can do it on my own. I am fearless." Lucinda said, with her head held high.

"A demon is waiting for us outside, so we need to hurry up." Lucinda said, hauling Medusa away with her by the arm as they started walking down the stairs. After walking for a few minutes, they walked out of the elevator and outside the building, coming face to face with a BMW car that was parked in front of the building.

The driver lowered the glass of the car, revealing his face to them, and they knew immediately that he was a demon. Without wasting much time, they both got into the car, and he drove off at great speed.

He drove them to the gate of a skyscraper, where the word "ED" was boldly written on the body of the building.

"This is the building; no matter what you do, don't let him find out you are a demon; he can be a beast...if you ask me, I will say you shouldn't meet him yet; you still need to train because he is fearless." The demon gave Lucinda a piece of advice that made her body start quivering in fear for the first time.

"If I don't let him find out that I am a demon, how will I kill him?" Lucinda asked

"That's up to you," he said, and opened the door of the car for them just by moving his hand. Lucinda stepped out of the car and looked up at the massive building, swallowing her saliva in fear. Medusa scanned the building with her eyes; the theme of the building was white and blue.

"The security is tight," Medusa said, pointing at a security man as he was scanning all the employees before they were allowed to enter the building.

"How am I going to get in?" Lucinda asked, confused.
