Loving Quinn Novel by North Rose

Chapter 91

(Quinn)

The next three days were a blur of constant activity. In the mornings after dropping Grace off at Vivien’s for the day, Annie and I toured one of the three private schools we picked for Grace to attend next year. After the events that happened at her old school, we decided to look for a new one. Grace is not happy about switching schools, but we don’t feel comfortable sending her to a school that had no idea she was missing until it was too late. This content provided by N(o)velDrama].[Org.

Sacred Hearts Academy for Girls was the school we looked at on Monday. Almost immediately, we both agreed that it wasn’t what we were looking for. There was no security at all and the headmaster was looking at me in that all too familiar way. Annie put her in her place and we left faster than it took us to tour the place.

The Hamlin School for Girls was our choice for Tuesday. Annie was very impressed by their website, but not so much with the school in person. It was quite clear that the school hadn’t been updated in years and the photos on the website were fake. None of the amenities that they advertised were found. The only thing they had in their favor was that it was a walled in school with a security guard at the gate.

We hit the jackpot on Wednesday. Zion Academy is the only school on our short list that is co-ed. When we arrived, I was happy to see that there were two security guards at the front gates. One at the entrance and one at the exit. The security guard at the entrance gate is a man I know, and that made me even happier. Once we were cleared to enter, we were taken on a tour of the main

building, three smaller dethatched buildings, and the outdoor recreational areas.

Annie and I were both very happy to see that the entire school and all the outdoor areas were

walled off with high stone walls. Is it overkill for a school? Maybe, but it makes me feel better.

We also were on the tour with Dave, Grace’s best friend’s father. He told us that the way the

school handled the kidnapping was horrible, so he was pulling both his kids out. Zion is his first

choice. So, Grace will at least know two other students at her new school.

That should make the transition easier.

Thope.

Each day after we toured one school in the morning, Annie went to Mercy General while I went to my office. My goal is to get the last stages of planning for the outreach center completed by the end of the week. Max returned from his recent trip to New York with sixteen signed contracts and requests for two more contracts.

We have our contractor and a crew of seventeen. Now we will just need to hire the remaining crew members, then we can get the project moving on to the next stage. Locking down a date to begin working.

With both of our current projects wrapping up within the next month or so, it shouldn’t be that hard to pin down a starting date for the outreach center. We can probably find some freelance construction workers from those job sites.

Things for G&C Enterprises are moving right along now that Ethan McAllister has stopped f**king with us.

As for the other aspects of my life. Every night for the last three nights, Annora, her mother, Shawna, and Rylan have been holed up in the guest room. Our guest room turned into the wedding planning room the minute she told her mother we planned to get married sooner than planned.

I was not surprised when Annie asked Shawna to be her maid of honor and Rylan to be a bride’s maid. Those three women have become a tight group since they met. The charity auction proved that. I am glad for Rylan to have found a strong pair of women who folded her into their tight friendship like the three of them had known each other for their entire lives.

For me, there is no question of who I want to stand up there with me as my best man. Aaron has

been that for me since we were kids. It will be a great honor to have him by my side at my wedding. I asked Mac to be a groomsman. He was surprised but agreed.

Beside Aaron, Mac has been one of my closest friends and allies. We survived our time in the Army, both of us built our companies from the ground up and prospered. Having him stand up with me on my wedding day will be an honor.

Now I am sitting in my home office making travel plans for twenty people. Fifteen of that is just the wedding party. The remaining five are those closest to use that we decided to invite to France

to share on our special occasion.

I also must make hotel reservations for those not staying at the villa with us. Planning a wedding is stressful. However, since Annora won’t let me help with anything else, I have been given the task of arranging all the travel plans and hotel accommodations,

That is something I have gotten good at in the last few years. Before we made San Francisco our home base, we were in New York but traveled all over the USA for meetings, charity events, and fundraisers. Booking flights and hotels have gotten easier with the use of the internet and my diamond bank card that opens all the right doors,

My phone ringing is music to my ears right now. However, seeing my lawyer’s number on the

screen makes me frown. Why is Vincent calling me today?

“Hello Vincent. What can I help you with?”

“I heard from Aaron that you and Annora are getting married sooner than planned.” His voice sounds slightly annoyed, which is unusual for him.

“What do you sound annoyed by that?”

“I expected a call from you to tell me about the upcoming nuptials. We still need to sit down and iron out the details of the prenup we discussed.”

Oh, that. To be perfectly honest, I haven’t even broached the subject with Annie yet. Do we even

need a prenup? I don’t want her to think that I don’t trust her, but at the same time she is a rich

woman in her own right. Like me, she invested well in stocks and bonds. Her career is a high paying one, and she inherited money from her mother’s family. Money is not a problem for either

of us.

There is also the fact that I don’t see us ever getting divorced. A prenup seems silly at this point. I sigh, then pinch the bridge of my nose as I feel a headache forming.

“I will talk to Annie about it tonight.’

“Good. Get back to me tomorrow.” With that, Vincent ends the call.

I am not sure how long I sat at my desk with my head in my hands, but the feeling of soft lips on my neck pulls me out of my thoughts. A groan leaves my mouth when she stops kissing my neck. A soft laugh follows as I spin around to pull her onto my lap.

“I think that is the first time in a long time that I have been able to sneak up on you. What had you thinking so hard?”

“Later, right now, I am hungry for something that only you can give me.”

Annie laughs that s**y, throaty laugh of hers and lust shoots straight to my c**k. I nuzzle her neck as she wiggles in my lap. Sadly, before I can attempt to take it any further, she climbs off my lap and sits in the chair next to me.

“Now that is not how I saw this going,” I tell her, with disappointment in my tone.

“I know, but we need to talk.”

That is when I notice the manila envelope in her hands. I am not liking this at all. What is happening now to put that look on her face? She is nervous.

“What is going on, Annie?”

“Lorelai called to talk about the prenup I have been putting off talking to you about.”

I let out a laugh and shake my head. Turning back to my desk, I pull open the top drawer and pull out the example prenup that Vincent sent me after the engagement party. I guess our lawyers are trying to make sure their a**es are covered.

When I turn back to Annie and wave the envelope around, she laughs.

“Vincent called not that long ago. That was why I was in here, brooding. I wasn’t sure how to bring the topic up to you.”

We swap envelopes and spend the next thirty minutes reading the documents they contained.

Hers is very much the same as mine. I am not surprised to read the infidelity clause on the last page. If I were her, considering my past, I would put it in there too.

I am not angry at all that it is there. I am, however, surprised that it doesn’t ask for any monetary compensation on my end. All it states is that if I were to be unfaithful, I sign the divorce papers

without hesitation and she gets to keep the house on the lake we are building.

Considering that is her land, I don’t see a problem there.

“Can we amend the infidelity clause in this?” She asks me.

“No. If, and I stress the IF, I ever cheat on you or you cheat on me, there will be compensation for you of that amount. You keep everything we have now. That is my insistence.”

“Quinn, I don’t want your money. That is not why I am marrying you.”

“I know that, Annie. Yet, in the VERY unlikely event that I do step out on you, which I won’t, but if it does happen, then I want everything we have at the time and that lump sum to go to you. It isn’t for you, but for Grace and any children we have in the future.”

“I hate the idea of needing a prenup, but,” she starts to say.

“S***it happens. Life can be cruel, and we both need to protect our assets.”

“Something like that.” She stands up, then curls up in my lap after she tosses the document on my desk.

“I can assure you now that those clauses won’t ever come into effect, Annie. You are my heart and cheating on you would be like suicide. It will kill me knowing that I hurt you like that.”

She looks up and smiles at me. There is a mischievous glint in her eyes that makes me want to

know what is going on in her head, but I shake my head, then kiss her lips softly. She lays her

head on my shoulder and lets out a sigh.

“I guess we will have prenups,” she says.

“Indeed.”

“Ok, I will call Lorelai tomorrow to make up the official document, then have her fax it over when

it is done.”

“I will do the same with Vincent. Weddings are a pain in the a**

“Don’t let my mother hear you say that. We are doing dress shopping in the morning and she has

the entire day planned. She has already hired a catering firm in France. They have a shop here in

the Bay area so we will be tasting cakes in the afternoon.”

“Good lord, I need a tux!”

“No, not at all. Beach wedding. So, dress nice, but casual.”

“You know I look s**y in a tux…”

“Yes, but if you dress casual, then getting you naked later that night will be much quicker.”

“Oh, now I like the way you think.”

Annie laughs, then gets up off my lap. She walks to the door, but instead of leaving to go back to the wedding bonanza; she closes the door then flicks the lock. The look in her eyes when she

turns to face me makes me chuckle.

I watch her walk to me and while she does; she is bunching her skirt up higher and higher. The fact that she has been wearing a lot of long, flowy skirts lately has not gone unnoticed. I am very appreciative of her wardrobe choice.

Easy access is always nice. To help her further, I unzip my pants and pull my raging erection free, then lean back in my chair. She smiles at me and licks her lips.

“Like what you see, my love?”

“Always.” She climbs onto my lap and lowers herself onto my shaft after moving her panties to the side. “Now put your hands on the armrest and keep them there. I want to ride you until we are both a quivering mess.”

“Annie….” I moan her name as I do what she asks.

What happened next was a battle will power on my part. I was determined to not touch her until after we both were over that sweet edge of pleasure. I failed twice as she rode me slowly in an erotic torture that I never wanted to end. Each time, she stopped and swatted my hands away.

Our kisses mu**ed every moan and sigh of pleasure we made. The only sound in the room was the subtle creaking of my chair as it rocked back and forth, as she had her way with me. In the end, my patience to have her the way I wanted proved stronger than the desire to let her keep going.

We ended up on the floor an hour later after falling off the couch as she tried to flip us over so she could be on top again. I sank back into her, then made her scream my name as she o**

“Quinn, is Annie in there with you? She said she needed to talk to you, but would be back when she was done.”

“I will be right up in a minute, mom. We are just finishing the details on the flights,” she lied with a sheepish look on her face.

“Bring some coffee up with you when do.”

Annie looked at me with a horrified look on her face, but then burst out laughing right after. “I forgot they were all still here. Holy c**p, Quinn.”

“That is a very gracious compliment, my love. Got so aroused and worked up that you forgot everything but what we were doing.”

“That is what I call the power of Quinn Greyson.” She laughs, then quickly leaves the room.

I am left to finish my task with a huge smile on my face.
