Chapter 58: My Treat Prank

Glen's POV

"Damn why didn't you tell us that it was that fucker's money that we are using today" I hear my brother

said in awe making me look at him and just shrug while I continued to eat the food that I have ordered.

"Come on why do you kept on ordering this much do you want to freaking die of eating too much" I

hear Ema said in worry making us stop and look at her.

My brother was waiting for his turn to order again since Kaylee was talking to the waiter first. They

looked at her in the most incredible way making a person to be a little bit creeped out.

I could also see that Mark is a bit worried since he was practically losing it making me want to laugh at

them.

Luckily Ace manage to calm him down a while ago when he was about to make a scene.

"Well what can I say this girl doesn't have any idea what is really happening. The same goes for this

guy too but maybe he is the one who is lost the most" I mumble to myself while looking at Mark who

keeps one looking at my brother for answer but my brother was unaware of it and too focused on

getting another batch of order.

Then Mark slowly sigh in defeat and turns to look at me and he caught me looking at him making me

just smile at him innocently.

He then cleared his throat before he went closer to me making me look at him in confusion but I guess

that maybe he will try and ask me something making me just continue to smile at him.

"Sup... something wrong? You don't like the food? Try ordering that one" I asked sounding worried so

that I would try act like nothing is happening.

"Come on and don't ask me that. I bet that you already know what I want to ask you. So stop giving me

that innocent smile because you're not sincere and it's really not helping in this situation" he whines

taking me off guard making me chuckle at him.

"What are you trying to say?" I ask again trying to act like I don't know what he is talking about.

He sudden glares at me making me get nervous and a chuckle at his response.

"Try and fool me again or else I would scream in this place and you will be embarrassed to the point

you won't come back here ever again" he threatened and I look at him like he freaking lost his mind.

I was about to talk but I suddenly try to analyze what he had just said.

"Well aren't you be the one to be embarrassed the most because you're the one who screamed and

made a scene" I told him and he suddenly realize what he said and just glared at me.

I chuckle at him and he just glared at me even more.

(I never thought that Mark can think of ideas like that though, no wonder he is the only person who

can't grasp the situation immediately and probably he might get it last) I thought while looking at him

who is still glaring at me.

"You really know how to joke aren't you" I teased and he raise his hand trying to hit me but I dodge his

attack immediately and his hand passed me and suddenly I think that everything turn into slow motion

as I look at Mark's hand who is about to hit my brother's shoulders.

My brother was sitting next to me and Mark's attack passed me and continued to attack until he hit my

brother.

"Shit" I cursed nervously while looking at my brother who is now glaring at Mark.

"Uhm... it w-as an accident... yeah accident... I really didn't mean to hit you. Glen tell him something" I

hear Mark said in fear while he stutters to explain himself while waving his hands in the air.

All of us where just looking at him but when he said the last words, they averted their gaze to me

making me look nervous and speechless since I don't know how to resolve this situation.

When I didn't talk Mark immediately backs away and then hid at my side like a prey hiding from its

predators.

(What does this guy think of me-- a wall to hide himself, or a shield to take all the damage, or perhaps a

coral where fish hides? Damn what am I even babbling about) I thought while looking at this guy on my

"Hey why am I even getting into this mess? I didn't do anything at all" I tried to defend myself while

pushing this clinging guy on my arm.

But he was surprisingly strong that he grips on me tighter making me look at him and he was burying

his head on my arm and it annoyed me making me think of a crazy idea.

"Damn that chick's legs look so sexy" I mumble while looking away and he immediately let go of me

and look around.

"Where... where is it?" he said while looking around to find what I was talking about and my brother

suddenly took that moment to avenge himself and he hit Mark's head with his palm making Mark groan.

"Damn fucking pervert of you" I hear Kaylee said in an instant making me look at her like she was

kidding.

"Coming from this girl" I mumble while looking at Kaylee.

I saw that Mark was groaning in pain while my brother talks something to him but I ignored it since my

ears were ticked by what Kaylee said.

(You're the one to talk about pervert while you are also one of them. I always caught you looking

around a while ago so don't try and talk about it like your innocent) I mumble in my mind while suddenly

something came up again in my mind.

"Kaylee that guy keeps on looking at you" I told Kaylee and immediately he looks around excitedly.

"Where... where Glen I can't find someone looking at me. Is he handsome... where is the g---" she

suddenly realize something and I was chuckling when she turns around and look at us.

We are all chuckling and I think she was pissed since she was glaring at me.

"That was not funny Glen" she says while pouting and I just chuckle at her.

"Here trying to accuse me of being a pervert but you are actually the real one" I hear Mark come back

making us chuckle all in amusement and they immediately throw words at each other.

We were all just laughing at them as they spout nonsense at each other.

"Guys have you seen two perverts talking with each other" Ema suddenly said and immediately we all

stopped and then look at her.

Kaylee and Mark also stopped bickering and look at her in shock but I think for Kaylee, she looks like

she was betrayed or something like that since she was looking at her with her mouth wide open.

"Uhm..." I hear Ema said nervously and to cut the awkwardness I laughed while looking at Kaylee.

"Yup I also saw them, they were very nosy" I told Ema and Kaylee immediate snapped and look at me.

"So you are joining her too... unbelievable" she said in disbelief and I just look at her innocently.

"Whattttttt..." I trailed innocently and she just glares at me even more intently.

"Piss off" Kaylee said in annoyance and all of us laughed except her and Mark who are giving us glares

and they were pouting.

(I think that if destiny would permit, these two can have a good chemistry, biology or whatever) I smile

while looking at Kaylee and Mark with an amused look.

"Come on already and stop sulking we were just joking" I hear my brother said to Kaylee and I snap

back to reality.

I saw that Kaylee is sulking and now crossing her hands on her chest while looking pissed and Mark

was also just sitting quietly while stabbing his food making me chuckle again.

"What so funny?" I hear Kaylee said to me and I look at her and just smile at her.

"Nothing... it's just that I think that we might have ordered too much from the budget" I told them and

they all give me wide eyes making me chuckle even more.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?"

"Damn were going to wash plates"

"YOU FUCKER IF YOU ARE JOKING I REALLY.... ARGH"

I hear them all complain while looking at me in shock and I just laughed again.

"Damn if you could just look at your expressions and you might also be laughing also" I said between

laughter but suddenly I felt a hand hit my head and I groan in pain.

I glare at the culprit and saw that it was my brother glaring dangerously at me making me gulp.

"THIS.WAS.YOUR.FREAKING.TREAT.SO.YOU.PAY." he said while emphasizing each word and I

immediately nod my head.

"Yup... y-up it is my treat" I told him while I stutter in nervousness and then he smiled back at me

making me sigh in relief.

(Damn he can be very intimidating sometimes and if he is, better not piss this guy when you see his

already getting serious like this) I thought while looking at him.

My brother then calls the waiter for the bill and they were all anxious what will happen and I am really

amused and what to laugh at them but I just kept it to myself since I don't want to spoil the fun.

"Thank you" I hear my brother said making me turn to look at him since I was staring at the table while

watching them all in my peripheral vision.

My brother didn't dare to open the bill and just handed it to me.

"You better pay up or else I will really beat the shit out of you" I hear him say and I just chuckle at him.

"Come on Glen and don't joke around already since I will go broke if you keep on making me pay your

bills" he said to me and I smile at him warmly.

"That is why I love you" I told him while getting closer to him and I saw him shake his head while

sighing in defeat.

"I love you too but please pay up already since who knows how much did we eat" he said desperately

and I just chuckle at him before I look at the bill.

(What he said is all true that he pays up some of my bills or I should say he always treats me like pay

my lunch and if we go out for food, he always again pays up making me the spoiled brother of his. Well

he always does that for my sister too because it is him. This personality of my brother is what I also

admire. He can always give anything for the person that he cares and loves. The person that will own

his heart will be so lucky) I thought while looking at the bill and I got wide eyes making me immediately

close it again.

I saw that all of them are looking at me in anxiously and I then chuckle nervously while putting down

the bill and they all give me the death glares.

If glares could kill I probably already been dead now.

I gulp and then acted like I was so nervous and they all groan in horror while I was l laughing so hard

deep inside while trying not to mess my mask.

"How much did you bring Kaylee?" I hear my brother said and they were both already trying to bring out

their wallets making me stop my stunt already.

"Uhm... Sir, Ma'am the bill was already been paid" I hear the waiter said and they all looked at me.

"Ahem...." Suddenly someone cleared his throat and I kind of recognize that one.

(I thought that he was back at his house and probably taking up a nap so what is he doing here) I

thought while not turning around while the others turn around immediately and gasped when they look

at the person who is at my back.
