Love Beyond Control

Throughout the night, Ella was busy on the laptop and she even forgot to do her chores. Elion was amazed by how elegant she could work on the laptop and how concentrated she was, which was unlike Liza who sticks around him like a missing dog that knows not its direction. Elion didn’t sleep the whole night because he was busy lusting after the elegant lady in front of him. Before they realised, it was already 7:00 AM and Elion left without uttering a word and Ella quickly ran through her project and when she was satisfied, she closed the laptop and smiled cheerfully. She left the house after collecting the money she borrowed from Henry and went straight to the hospital and met the nurse who had fed her when she was operated upon. The two young ladies left the hospital and went straight to a shop to get a dress for Ella and the nurse was already putting on a black lady’s suit which made her look like an untouchable bodyguard

. When she arrived at the shop, she tried on many dresses and finally picked a red dress. She went to a hairstylist and got her hair and makeup done. She pleaded with the stylist to get her a safe place to change her dress and her request was granted. After putting on the red gown which cut across her knees, Ella was like a fairy. She was just too beautiful and everyone was stunned when she came out of the dressing room. Looking at herself in the mirror, she smiled and assured herself.

“Baby girl, it’s time to change the narratives.”

After assuring herself, she left triumphantly and anyone that saw her was carried away. She looked like a billionaire heiress. As soon as she got to the company, no one recognized her and she paid no attention to all the eyes on her and all the tongues talking about her. When she got to the receptionist, they welcomed her with a lot of respect and took her to the president’s elevator. No one recognised her and so, they all treated her like a mysterious heiress. As soon as the elevator reached the 13th floor, she walked out elegantly followed by the Raisa who happens to be the nurse and now; her PA and bodyguard. When they walked out of the elevator, a security guard led them to the door leading into the conference room. The guard on standby quickly opened the door for her after greeting her with so much respect because he had no idea that the same Ella that they have been under rating was the elegant heiress in front of her. When the door opened, Ella walked in like a goddess and everyone was stunned by the domineering atmosphere she carried. Elion and Henry, who were the only ones that knew that Ella was the one with the new project, looked at themselves in concussion and seeing the confused look on his boss’ face, Henry stood and walked towards him and brought his ear to his lips to hear what he had to say.

“What’s she up to? Why did she send someone else to represent her?” Elion voiced out in concussion and Henry who had no answer shook his head in disappointment. Seeing the way Elion stared at the goddess that had brought everyone in the meeting room to their knees, Liza was fuming with anger but at the same time she was scared to speak because she didn’t know the identity of the woman in front of her.

“Good morning Master Elion, good morning shareholders. Thank you for honouring my request and granting me the audience.”

Ella greeted with a cheerful smile and looked at Liza and Maya victoriously and then greeted them specially.

“Miss Liza and Miss Maya, are you here too? Wow, it’s amazing you know. I thought the meeting was strictly for shareholders.”

“Greetings ma’am, I’m surprised you know my name. Actually I am the only daughter to Mr/Mrs Madison and they are training me as the heiress who will take over the companies. I’m happy to meet you in person and I hope we collaborate in the future.” Maya explained cheerfully and panicky and her parents were very proud to see their daughter reaching out for a collaboration with this lady with a magnificent background and who had the capacity to restore the face of the great company.

Ella only responded to Maya with a smile and looked at Elion who was looking at her with a confused look with the sentence “who are you” written all over his face and Ella decided to help him solve the puzzle but in a very smart way without revealing her identity.

“Master Elion, no coffee in the morning?” Ella asked and winked her right eye and Henry and Elion were stunned to finally discover that it was actually Ella and Elion responded to her question with an answer that confused many people. “The cleaner who was in charge of that has changed her address.”

“Elion, what are you talking about? Did you let go of Ella just like that?” Liza asked angrily but Elion ignored her and continued looking at Ella lustfully before giving her the go ahead but the manner at which he addressed the lady stunned everyone especially Henry and Ella.

“It’s a pleasure to have Lady Copper extend a helping hand to my company.” The look on everyone’s face was that of shock but Elion ignored them and continued still emphasising the words Lady Copper as though he was sounding a warning to Ella. “Lady Copper, as you can see, everyone is here and we were just waiting for you.”

As soon as he finished speaking, the door opened and a young lady stepped in and greeted Ella cheerfully before greeting any order person. “Ma’am, all the documents are ready.”

The lady said cheerfully and Henry immediately recognized her as the nurse who fed Ella when she had a surgery. As soon as he recognized her, he bent towards his boss’ ear and whispered something and Elion gave the lady a meaningful look and a smile of satisfaction. “Risia, distribute the documents to them.” Ella ordered.

“Okay ma’am.” Raisa responded and started the distribution and when she was done, Ella started her presentation.

“We are all business men and women and all business oriented so, before revealing the project, you all are going to elect 7 people out of the 12 shareholders here who will first of all sign the agreement you all are looking at.” Said Ella confidently.

“You want to own 60% of the shares of the new project?” Mrs Madison asked in dissatisfaction after flipping through the agreement.

“With all due respect Mrs. Madison, I am not selfish with my ideas and won’t want to work with selfish people. Or do you think your daughter has a better project?” Ella responded indifferently leaving Elion amazed at her high level of professionalism and everyone was quiet.

“I think owning 60% of the shares is not a big request at all if her project can be able to keep us at the top.” One of the shareholders responded and everyone nodded in satisfaction and the seven people were immediately assigned to sign the agreement and Ella, being satisfied, asked her Personal Assistant to project the project.
