Chapter 712: Elsa Willingly Hands Over the Formula
Finally, a vacation came, and the two spent two days frolicking outdoors. During most of the nights, having tasted sweetness, Jared was not idle, engaging Tina in vigorous activity. Despite Tina's robust health, by the third day, she slept through the morning and only in the afternoon did she and Jared head to Elsa's.
Elsewhere, in a certain tea house, Ella Bailey sat at the head, her expression dark, "Have you not found who took Elsa away?"
The bodyguard bowed his head, "It seems the other party was cautious; the surveillance along the way has been erased." "Damn it!"
Ella slammed the table, "Keep looking! Ask around, see if any new people have been captured by other families recently!"
Elsa, where have you gone? Dragging three useless ones, and a daughter, do you really think you can escape the surveillance of the hidden family?!
The bodyguard remained silent, only stepping forward after Ella had vented her anger.
"Miss, the place you mentioned earlier, I've investigated it. So far, no family has announced they've captured that woman, and it doesn't seem like she was captured at all."
The people of the hidden family aren't kind enough to let them pack their belongings if they were captured. Ella had considered this. But what friends could Elsa possibly have in Ashbury capable of standing up to the hidden family? She wouldn't be in her current state if she truly had such friends!
Wait! Ella's eyes widened suddenly, Tina's unforgettable beautiful face surfacing in her mind. After a few seconds of silence, she suddenly said, "Check into the woman who fought us that day. I want to see who has the ability to confront us!" Elsa, you better still be alive! Otherwise, even as a ghost, I will dig you out!
At a villa belonging to the Dyer family, after leaving the Dyer family that day, Tina had Cole arrange the transfer of the house ownership; the house was now Elsa's. Tina was treating Austin. Elsa looked at her husband's leg, then at Tina, hesitating to speak. Several times, encouraged by her in-laws, she wanted to speak. But as soon as she opened her mouth and saw Tina's youthful face, she couldn't bring herself to do it.
Is this really okay? The thing that the Dyer family had always protected, handed over to such a young girl. If something goes wrong. She wouldn't know how to face it. Nor could she apologize enough to Tina's family.
Tina's attention was entirely on the silver needles in Austin's leg. But Elsa's every move did not escape her notice. Mainly because Elsa was too obvious! Anyone with a brain could tell she was troubled. However. If she didn't speak, Tina wouldn't ask.
She waited until the session ended, removed the silver needles, and then stood up, "This medicine, along with the plaster, needs to be taken internally. It might hurt a bit, but as long as you can endure it, your leg will essentially be fine." "Thank you, thank you, Miss Reed."
Upon hearing this, Elsa was all thanks. Standing silently to the side, Mr. and Mrs. Dyer were also continuously bowing to Tina, "Miss Reed, thank you so much. Without you, we wouldn't even know how our family would have perished." Remembering their past ordeal, the elderly couple couldn't help but tear up. The most emotional was Austin, who would have knelt if his body had allowed, "Miss Reed, our family is so fortunate to have met you! If not for you, my leg wouldn't have been saved, and Elsa might still be living those dark days!"
As he spoke, he also gave Elsa a meaningful look with his eyes. Elsa slightly bowed her head, avoiding her husband's gaze as her fingers nervously intertwined. Their odd behavior did not escape Tina and Jared's notice. Jared's eyes flickered, "Tina, since they're alright now, let's go."
Tina hummed in response, "Right, Elsa. In a couple of days, our family is hosting a banquet, and I'd like to invite Sally to attend with us."
Elsa, caught in her turmoil, blurted out, "How can that be? No, it won't work. Sally has never seen such things since she was born; she will cause you trouble."
Tina's lips curved into a slight smile, "No trouble at all. It's settled then, I'll come to pick her up."
She exchanged a secret glance with Jared and hand in hand, they prepared to leave the villa.
Startled, Elsa followed behind Tina, while Courtney, unable to stop herself, leaned in and whispered, "Say whatever you need to say now, or you'll lose your chance." That remark seemed to steel Elsa's resolve.
Suddenly coming to her senses, Elsa called out, "Miss Reed, wait!"
Tina remarked, "I knew I should have covered my ears."
Jared added, "Tina, your new friend is louder than a car horn."
Courtney, standing closest to Elsa, felt her head buzz as if surrounded by hundreds of bees, from that one loud call.
Dreadful!
She wished she had remained silent.
The expressionless people twitched their mouths.
Austin and Elsa's in-laws, three people in total, couldn't bear to watch and bowed their heads.
People from the Dyer family thought, "Elsa's voice is usually not this loud..."
Unaware of the expressions around her, Elsa rushed to Tina's side and grabbed her hand, "Miss Reed, I have something to give you."
Resolved, Elsa quickly turned and headed back to her bedroom.
In less than two minutes, she returned, holding an antique-looking box as long as her forearm.
A glint passed through Tina's eyes.
Jared, having heard about the Dyer family from Tina before, guessed what might be inside the box.

Courtney, however, was clueless, not having been there when Elsa was last rescued, and thus unaware of Elsa being a descendant of the hidden family. "Mrs. Dyer, what's inside this?"
Courtney asked, puzzled by the box wrapped in red satin.NôvelDrama.Org exclusive content.
Holding the box, Elsa approached Tina, "Miss Reed, do you remember I told you last time that the Bailey family was after me because of a formula?"
She continued, "Actually, our Dyer family doesn't possess any formula at all. It's just an herb with properties similar to the elixir of life." Tina's gaze sharpened.
Again, the elixir of immortality.
Those old immortals of the hidden family, how afraid of death are they?
Jared's brows slightly furrowed, "With the same properties as the elixir, you mean this herb can grant immortality?"
How could that be?!
Reading the skepticism in Jared's eyes, Elsa offered a bitter smile, "What herb can grant immortality? If so, our Dyer family would have been long extinct!"
She opened the box, "This herb was accidentally discovered by an ancestor of the Dyer family many years ago. It can't grant others immortality, but it can bring itself back to life!"
