Living With My Lady Boss

Chapter 651

Chapter 651 Leonard pretended to glance over at Amon and the rest.

Yet the three of them merely sipped their tea, their faces devoid of any expression.

Leonard chuckled. The three-thousand-year- old Ganoderma Wilbur looked at was translucent, almost resembling a piece of white jade. It did look rather appealing and was definitely worth the price.

However, it was far from a worthy offering, and he was only counting on the thirty-thousand- year-old Fleeceflower to surprise him.

Just then, two beautiful women brought a large box to the gift table, placing it in Bruce's space.

Everyone knew that was the good stuff, and craned their necks to get a good look.

Bruce smiled. "Ladies and gentlemen, this right here is the thirty-thousand-year-old Fleeceflower. I'll let all of you take a look at it."

Following that, Bruce channeled a wave of green spiritual energy into the box. It lit up with a myriad of symbols, before opening up. It was clear that the box alone was no small feat.

Once the box was open, Bruce took out a huge Fleeceflower with both hands from it. He placed it on the table, and the crowd erupted in cries of shock.

The Fleeceflower was around 30 centimeters wide. It seemed to be letting out plumes of black mist, along with a tantalizing fragrance.

The Fleeceflower was a top-grade item in terms of size, shape, and fragrance.

Amidst the cries, Bruce smiled and said, "An Ambience cultivator risked his life to get this Fleeceflower, fighting the beast that guarded it in a huge swamp. Mister Eliam Hayes, Mister Jon Beckett, and I can confirm that it is thirty thousand years old. You may all come forward to have a look at it." Many people surged forward eagerly, fighting for a glimpse of the Fleeceflower.

A thirty-thousand-year-old Fleeceflower— that was an otherworldly spirit herb for sure. Even getting to see it in its glory was a once-in-a- lifetime experience, let alone being able to buy it.

Wilbur's gaze fell on the Fleeceflower as well. Exclusive © material by Nô(/v)elDrama.Org.

It looked and smelled like the real deal and would definitely make a fine offering.

Wilbur began to plan how he was going to bid for it, while not attracting any attention to I himself.

He now had a reputation, and despite knowing that he was powerful enough that no one would dare to mess with him, it was probably best that he lay low.

Just then, Bruce piped up amidst the crowd's exclamations of shock. "Calm down, ladies and gentlemen. Before we bid for this spiritual herb, let's first go back to Mister Finnegan's Spiritual Pill." The crowd reluctantly returned to their seats, and Wilbur could not help but chuckle. What was this, a midroll commercial?

"Ladies and gentlemen," Bruce smiled. "I'm sure everyone here knows who Mister Finnegan is. Every pill this peak Ambience cultivator, who is also a master alchemist has made is precious and to be treasured. I'm sure you all know what a Spiritual Pill can do for us cultivators, t00." The crowd nodded. Owning a Spiritual Pill was like having another layer of protection on you.

A Spiritual Pill could even turn the tables around in a battle against someone of the same cultivation level, regardless of the odds.

It was also able to make a regular human being stronger and live longer upon consumption.

"Let's begin the auction for the Spiritual Pill then, at a starting price of five million dollars with an increment of five hundred thousand dollars with every bid," Bruce said. The auctioneer then knocked on the table, and the bidding began.

The cultivators began raising their hands after that. Even Leonard seemed interested, letting

Catelyn bid as well.

Wilbur's focus, however, was still on the Fleeceflower. The Spiritual Pill was hardly of any use to him, anyway. I Just as he was using his spirit senses to search through the Fleeceflower to determine if it was the right offering, he stopped short as his expression morphed into one of shock.
