Chapter 770 His Love for Her Grows Deeper

Since Chloe had yet to agree to join the royal family, Carolina had not publicly disclosed her identity. Many people were meeting Chloe for the first time, but they recognized Joseph. And since they were seated together, everyone assumed that she was Joseph's plus one.

Chloe's eyes lit up as she clasped her hands. She grabbed Joseph, who was visibly annoyed, and said, "It's pretty, isn’t it? I absolutely agree with you. I have other designs too."

Joseph stood tall and without expression. He wore a men’s necklace around his neck, showcasing its unique craftsmanship and its longer-than-usual style. Chloe intentionally pulled down his collar to reveal a glimpse of his well-sculpted collarbones.

The wealthy women's eyes glowed as they looked Joseph up and down. "The design is beautiful. What brand are these necklaces from?"

"They’re from Exotic Star. I brought two other designs as well. Please feel free to take a look at them," Chloe replied, placing two boxes on the table. "If you don't like these, I have pictures from the designer. These are limited-edition pieces from around the world."

"I prefer the one that Mr. Joseph is wearing."

"Me too."

Chloe smiled as she discreetly tugged at Joseph's sleeve and whispered, "You know how to handle this, right?"

These women were clearly not interested in the item. They were captivated by the model.

Joseph sighed, his jaw clenched as he said, "I've never worked in sales a day in my life."

He refused to stoop and serve these people as it went against his pride. Besides, it might lead people to think that Fairlight was facing bankruptcy.

"Please, Jojo? I know you're the best," Chloe pleaded, her voice soft and filled with expectation, her sparkling eyes brimming with hope.

Because of his guilt toward her, his heart instantly melted upon hearing her plea. His icy expression thawed a little as he looked at the group of middle-aged women and said against his will, "Any design you choose will look stunning on you."

All of them were delighted to hear this and eagerly placed their orders. Chloe successfully sold some of the company’s most expensive jewelry without much effort. She looked overjoyed and seemed to appear more at ease in Joseph's presence.

Joseph glanced at her and felt content. In the past, he had wanted her to belong to only him. Now, he felt happy just seeing her smile. His love for her grew deeper with every passing second.

They stayed on at the party for a while, surrounded by indulgence and extravagance. Chloe sipped on her orange juice. After some time, she decided it was time to return to the Sullivan estate. As she was about to stand up, something came to mind.

She pursed her red lips and asked, "How has Jasper been recently?"

"He's fine. He keeps wanting to see you."

"Why doesn't he come to me then?"

Joseph sneered coldly and said, "He tried to visit once, but Noah kicked him out."

Chloe was stunned and replied, "I'll make time to visit him soon."

She could not resist the little guy’s charm. He was simply too adorable.

"I'll tell Jas when I get home. He'll be thrilled," Joseph replied.

"Okay. By the way, have you found your mother after all these years?"

Hearing her question, Joseph gazed at her deeply.
