Chapter 730 A Special Drink

Chloe glanced at Lucas and then checked the time. "It's too late. I won't be going."

She was unsure if Callum would be waiting there again, and she had no time to accompany him in another repentance session.

"There's no one else at the house. Only Mr. Harold and Mr. Jasper," Lucas said as if he knew what she was thinking. "Mr. Joseph promised that it won't be like last time."

Still, Chloe insisted, "No, please make sure to schedule the cooking in advance next time. I'm busy, and I'm the Whitmans hired cook.”

"I already said that I won't go."

Chloe stopped in her tracks. She looked at Lucas curiously and asked, "Do you like Em?"

"Okay, I’ll give you her number."

Chloe quickly provided Lucas with Emily's phone number. Her friend had been single for so many years, and it was about time for her to find a boyfriend. Although Lucas was Joseph's assistant,

Sucking on a huge lollipop, Timothy said, "My daddy used to work overtime a lot and had no time to accompany my mom. She got angry and gave him a drink. They made up after sleeping together that night, and everything was fine the next day. Do you want to give your dad this drink too?"

"What kind of drink had such an effect?" Jasper asked, his voice filled with puzzlement.

"It's from a small bottle. I've never seen it in the supermarket. My mom keeps it in her bedroom, and the label’s in a foreign language, so I can't read it."

"Your parents went out of town today?"

"Yeah."

Jasper peered at the two downstairs who were not talking to each other. "Can you give me a bottle of this drink?"

Timothy nodded innocently, "Sure, I'll bring one for you tomorrow."

"No, that’d be too late," Jasper said seriously, "Let's go to your house now and get the drink."
