During the morning meeting, Noah introduced to all the executives, "Everyone, this is Chloe Johnson, my international business partner. Starting today, she'll be temporarily taking on the role of marketing manager."

After a pause, she nodded firmly. "Okay, I'll make them pay instead of suffering in silence."

Everyone in the group knew that Chloe had a special relationship with Noah because of the morning meeting. Besides, she was Exotic Star’s product ambassador. The moment she walked into the marketing department, a swarm of people started introducing themselves. One bootlicker even hooked an arm around hers and addressed her intimately.

It was rather sickening and made one’s skin crawl.

Chloe forced out a laugh and retracted her arm. She sent them off and closed the door to her office, then went through the department members’ information. The person who had held her arm earlier was Dulcie Thatcher, the number two salesperson. The number one was a middle-aged woman called Frieda Berlin who had ignored Chloe. The others were ordinary people with ordinary characters and achievements.

She did not care much about these people and spent the afternoon drafting a new marketing plan. She then posted it in the department's group chat. Not many people replied to her message because it was nearly time to get off work. Deciding to go over the plan with the department the next day, she set off for the hospital.
