Chapter 92 Rescue Eudora From the Fire 2
At this moment, Colbert had left the hospital. He drove while trying to call Eudora, but no one
answered.
His only choice was to call Chasel.
He dialed the number, and after two rings, the other party answered.
"Where is Eudora?"
After the call connected, Colbert didn't beat around the bush as he asked straightforwardly.
Chasel, who was also driving, was in a hurry heading toward Gardenview Apartment. He was worried
about Eudora, but he felt irritated knowing that Colbert was also concerned about her.
Thinking back to the near-death experience Eudora had at the hospital not long ago, Chasel couldn't
help but retort. "What does Eudora's situation have to do with you? It's already past eleven, Mr. Steele.
Shouldn't you be sleeping with your beloved wife?"
This was the first time Colbert had ever called Chasel.
However, Chasel never pandered to anyone, even if that person was Colbert.
"I'm asking you again. Where is Eudora?"
He asked the same question again, this time with more emphasis.
"Ha-ha!"
Chasel gave a light scoff, a mocking smile played at the corners of his lips. "No comment!"
As a defiant and rebellious person, Colbert was never afraid of anyone. Why would he care about
Chasel?
He ended the call.
Colbert felt inexplicably annoyed. He kept heading toward East Road and then called Corey, asking NôvelDrama.Org owns all © content.
him to look into Eudora's whereabouts.
Earlier, the manager of the Philomel Club had told him that the sedan which took Eudora had driven off
toward East Road after leaving the club.
He could only follow this direction.
Ten minutes later, Corey called. "Mr. Steele, the car went to Gardenview Apartment."
"Got it."
Colbert stepped on the gas, accelerating toward Gardenview Apartment. He then instructed Corey. "Go
to the hospital, and take Alva back to the Creek Villa."
"Yes, Mr. Steele."
Corey ended the call and immediately followed Colbert's order.
However, not long after the call ended, Corey received another call. He felt a tightness in his chest and
immediately dialed Colbert.
"What's up?"
Colbert answered the call and asked.
"Mr. Steele, there has been an incident. Gardenview Apartment is on fire. The floor that's burning is the
same floor Eudora is on."
