Chapter 418 Deleted
"Of course."
Benjamin nodded in agreement and left the police station after chatting with Owen.
Charlie had come here with the police, so Benjamin gave him a lift back.
About forty minutes later, Curtis pulled up at the back door of the construction site. This door was known to only a handful of individuals and remained locked at all times, resulting in almost no one waiting there. Charlie swiftly made his way inside. Upon departing from the construction site, Benjamin instructed Curtis to drive around. Many people, including reporters, media personnel, and curious onlookers, gathered in and around the entrance. Through the car window, Benjamin looked outside indifferently and guessed maybe there was someone involved in this matter.
He squinted his eyes, averted his gaze, and said, "Go to Harper's office."
Yes.
Curtis turned around and headed to Harper's office.
When they got downstairs, Benjamin directly dialed her phone number. In the midst of sketching a draft, Harper promptly answered the call. "Benjamin?"
Go
downstairs. I'm waiting for you."
"Are you there?"
Frowning slightly, Harper was surprised.
Benjamin replied hoarsely, "Yes."
Harper quickly said goodbye to Annie and went downstairs with her phone and bag.
Harper had no idea why Benjamin came here at this hour.
It wasn't mealtime, nor had there been any prior appointments. His unexpected arrival likely had something to do with the accident.
After exiting the building, Harper noticed Benjamin's car parked on the roadside, its lights flashing.

The black car swiftly started and moved forward.
in the office upstairs, Frank peered down through the floor-to-ceiling windows, observing the scene below. Despite the distance reducing the figures and objects to mere specks, he could discern the unmistakable forms of Harper and Benjamin. As the car
Sdually vanished from his sight, the frostiness in his eyes seemed to intensify.
Frank turned around and sat back in his office chair, growing distant and cold.
His face was unreadable.
Harper and Benjamin were sitting in the car, which was running aimlessly.
Harper asked, "Aren't you going to inquire about something?"
"Charlie said that you have the surveillance backend of the construction site, right?"
Benjamin stared at her, her hand in his palm.
Harper appeared slightly taken aback before swiftly replying, "Yes, I almost forgot about it until you mentioned it. It's on my mobile phone, but I haven't had a chance to review it yet. I intended to inform you about it after yesterday's accident, but it slipped my mind when I went to inspect the steel at the warehouse."
When it occurred to her, she was certain Charlie would divulge it and that the police would get involved. She intended to bring it up with Benjamin later but ended up forgetting altogether.
Benjamin had no doubts about Harper's response.
He said, "The police examined the surveillance footage and identified two deleted segments, one during yesterday's accident and the other at the time of the goods handover." "Deleted?"
"Yes, they were deleted."
Harper's
eyes widened in astonishment.
After a moment of silence, she asked, "What should we do now?"
Observing her slight unease, Benjamin reassured her, "Don't worry. I'm just sharing this with you, not to cause any unnecessary anxiety, okay?"
It was impossible to keep it a secret from her.
Frowning, Harper was depressed.
Benjamin inquired, "Have you disclosed information about the monitoring backend to anyone other than yourself?"
