Chapter 758: When Are You Planning to Have a Child?
After hearing Haider's words, Bonnie was taken aback. "He... transferred everything to my name?"
Haider nodded and turned to Eduard, taking some documents from him. "Take a look at these."
Bonnie looked at the documents Haider handed over and reached out to take them. All the transfer and
ownership documents were already signed with Myles' name. Myles hadn't mentioned any of these
things to Bonnie from the beginning. She knew he must have intended to tell her someday, but there
was never enough time.
After reading through the documents, Bonnie returned them to Haider. "Haider, I can't accept these
things, and I won't sign anything."
"Bonnie, since Myles transferred everything to your name..."
"No, besides the small villa, I don't want anything. These things belong to Myles. You can take care of
them for him."
At this point, Bonnie looked at Haider. "Give them to me later."
Haider was puzzled. "There's no difference between now and later."
"Haider, since these things were left by Myles, we can give them to the child when they are born. We
can say it's from their father."
As soon as Haider heard Bonnie's words, he instantly understood. "Okay."
Haider didn't stay at Cooke Residence for long. He said his goodbyes after finishing what needed to be
said and left.
Bonnie stood up. "Haider, I'll walk you out."
Haider nodded at Bonnie. "Okay."
Eduard, being a clever person, had already left Cooke Residence earlier, mentioning that he would go
start the car. Bonnie followed behind Haider.
"Haider, did Myles tell you the reason why I broke up with him?" Bonnie asked as they walked.
Haider turned to Bonnie, surprised. "No, why?"
Bonnie took a deep breath and explained what had happened, including why she suddenly broke up
with Myles.
After hearing Bonnie's account, Haider was still shocked. "Myles doesn't know about your pregnancy,
does he?"
Bonnie shook her head. "No, he probably doesn't."
Haider gently rubbed Bonnie's head. "If you go see him in a few days, tell him. He will be very happy to
know."
Bonnie nodded. "Okay."
"If you plan to live in the small villa, I'll have Eduard find a housekeeper to go there. You still need
someone around for support in your current state," Haider said in a low voice.
Bonnie didn't refuse. "Okay."
By discussing everything openly, the weight on Bonnie's heart was lifted.
After Haider left, Bonnie stood at the door alone for a while before entering. Over the next few days,
Bonnie made an appointment with Dr. Watson for a detailed examination. Yanis accompanied her to
the hospital.
"The situation you're in, after you contacted me, I asked the doctor Miss Thompson consulted that day
and checked with the surgery department. We confirmed the type of anesthesia used, and although
there shouldn't be any complications, it's still an anesthetic, so there might be a slight impact. However,
compared to general anesthesia, the amount used was relatively small, so the effects should be All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.
minimal. Do you understand what I mean?" Dr. Watson explained to Bonnie.
Bonnie nodded. "I understand."
"The tests we conducted today showed no problems, and we have confirmed that it's not an ectopic
pregnancy. For now, you just need to rest well and come for regular check-ups in a while."
"Okay, any precautions I should take?"
"It's just that you need to be a bit more careful in the first three months, and everything else can
proceed as usual. There's no need to be overly cautious about everything," Dr. Watson handed a box
of folic acid to Bonnie. "Take one of these every day. If you feel any discomfort, you can reach out to
me anytime or give me a call directly."
"Thank you, Dr. Watson," Bonnie replied.
As they walked out of the hospital, Yanis looked at Bonnie and asked, "Did you tell the teacher and
Uncle Cooke that you'll be staying at the cottage?"
Bonnie nodded and replied, "That place is our home. I can only find peace there."
Yanis nodded and offered, "Do you want me to help you pack up?"
"No, it's not necessary. Some of my things are still there, and he hasn't been back since we separated,
so everything is still in place. I don't feel like tidying up either because once I start organizing, it loses
that familiar feeling. I want to preserve his presence for a while longer," Bonnie explained.
Listening to Bonnie, Yanis didn't say anything more. They returned to the cottage, and Yanis went to
the studio to take a quick look. The progress was going well, and they would be able to resume in
about two weeks.
Initially, Yanis had planned to visit Anika at South Hospital today, but before she could leave the store,
she received a call from the Old Mrs. Lawrence. She was asked to come over in the evening.
Yanis agreed and returned to D-king Castle to wait for Zane before heading to the Lawrence's Mansion
together. In the evening, Yanis and Zane entered the mansion through the main gate.
"Did Grandma say why she wants us to come tonight?" Yanis asked Zane as they walked inside.
Zane held Yanis' hand and replied, "She didn't say, just asked me to come home for dinner."
Yanis didn't push further since Zane didn't know either. When they entered, Sophia had just finished
preparing the meal.
"Grandpa, Grandma, we're back," Yanis greeted the Old Mrs. Lawrence and the Old Mr. Lawrence.
"Good timing, Sophia just finished preparing the meal. Wash your hands and sit down to eat," the Old
Mrs. Lawrence welcomed them.
The conversation at the dinner table revolved around mundane daily matters. After they finished eating,
the Old Mrs. Lawrence turned to Yanis and said, "Yanis, come with me for a walk."
Yanis responded and stood up, saying, "Sure."
The two of them went to the backyard, and the Old Mrs. Lawrence pulled Yanis to sit on a stone bench
in the gazebo. "Yanis, have you been busy lately?" she asked.
Yanis shook her head and replied, "Not really. The store is undergoing renovations, so it's not that
busy."
"Even when you're busy, remember to take care of yourself and get some rest. Your health is
invaluable," the Old Mrs. Lawrence advised with concern.
"I understand," Yanis acknowledged.
The Old Mrs. Lawrence held Yanis' hand and spoke softly, "Yanis, we haven't asked you and Zane
about this before, but when are you planning to have a child? I know both of you have it in your hearts,
and as your grandparents, our greatest wish is to see you both happy and fulfilled together."
"Grandma, we will consider that," Yanis replied. "We know you and Grandpa have been thinking about
it. However, Zane and I need to carefully plan and decide on the right timing."
The Old Mrs. Lawrence smiled and said, "Take your time, my dear. Whenever you're ready, we'll be
here to support you."
