Chapter 8 Mr. Limbaugh Was Here
Margaret's eyes were not sexy as Chloe's, but her eyes were so naturally alluring, and her glance had
its own power of seduction.
She just stood there. She showed no pretentious poses, but was still very attractive and seductive in
her own way.
The assistant director paused and raised his head. He clapped his hands, eyes full of admiration as he
exclaimed, "Good!"
This was the Tiana he wanted.
A seductive, charming fairy!
A fairy should be attractive. The biggest difference between a fairy and a demon was that fairies
exhibited an innocent aura.
Margaret was both malevolent and fairy-like. She was what the assistant director called a true fairy.
The participants who auditioned before her just looked like a tacky party girls.
Margaret managed to portray the Tiana that was in his mind!
"Are you from Galaxy Entertainment? You're good at understanding the character and expressing the
role. You got the role of Tiana. I'll contact you again when we start filming." the assistant director's
impression of Margaret had changed drastically.
"Thank you, Sir." Margaret said with a bow.
Everyone at the theatre was caught by surprise. They all thought that Chloe would get the role, but
unexpectedly, the role had been given to an unknown newcomer.
Then, a staff member came over and whispered something into the assistant director's ear.
The assistant director looked shocked. "He actually came?" he gasped.
Margaret raised her brows in confusion. The door of the theater opened again.
A man in a dapper black suit appeared. He looked handsome, but had an air of aloofness about him.
"Why is he here?" Margaret thought.
She was surprised but couldn't help feel suspicious. Then, she saw the assistant director eagerly walk
up to the man. NôvelDrama.Org (C) content.
"Mr. Limbaugh, you're here," the assistant director greeted him.
Mr. Limbaugh?
If she remembered correctly, Haver Entertainment, which was under the Limbaugh Group, had stakes
in this advertisement.
And the chairman of Haver Entertainment was Brendan Limbaugh, the second young master of the
Limbaugh family.
"Could that be him?" she thought to herself.
"I was just passing by, so I thought I'd drop in and have a look." Charleston's voice sounded calm, but
his eyes fell on Margaret.
Margaret's head went numb. "Director, if we're done here, I'll go off first."
She lowered her head and prayed in her heart that the man would not recognize her.
Before the assistant director spoke, Charleston asked, "Which role are they auditioning for?"
"Tiana," The deputy director stated.
"Have you decided on the actress for the role?" Charleston asked again.
"I've just decided. Margaret, come and say hello to Mr. Limbaugh."
"Director, you're pushing me right into the fire pit," Margaret anxiously thought.
She didn't expect this crazy man to come from such a strong background.
She felt despaired as she thought about it.
"Hi, Mr. Limbaugh!" Margaret lowered her head and said in a low voice.
"What did you say just now? I can't hear you clearly." Charleston sneered.
Margaret rolled her eyes.
"Maybe this girl is just shy. Ah, are you injured, Mr. Limbaugh?"
As the assistant director thought highly of Margaret, he was worried that she would offend Charleston.
Thus, he quickly changed the subject.
Indeed, there was a wound on Charleston's hand, and the smell of disinfectant had been subtly wafting
through the air.
"I was bitten by a little wild cat," Charleston smirked as he said this casually.
Margaret raised her head subconsciously, only to find that Charleston was also looking at her. Their
eyes met, and her face blushed for reasons she did not understand.
Charleston raised another question, "Was the audition just now recorded?"
"Yes, please come over to have a look, Mr. Limbaugh!" The assistant director was pleasantly surprised
and elated to meet such a big shot.
Margaret suddenly felt a bad feeling in her gut.
The assistant director replayed the audition recordings for Charleston.
When they got to Margaret's part, the assistant director couldn't help but praise her, "Margaret's
audition performance today was the best we've seen!"
