There was a little chaos in the dean’s Alpha tower as whispers filled the entire place. It is no new news that the new Luna suddenly passed out and has been attended to for the past one and half hour.

While some pray for her recovery, some passed out whatever wrong information they want to pass about her. Soon, the news of Daciana being an omega circulated around the vicinity and dean’s pack as a whole. Everyone heard how the Alpha treated her in the beginning with total disdain. It is more surprising how the news spread fast and where they got it from.

Meanwhile, Alpha Connor keep gulping in nervousness as the medicine man he called examine Daciana. Since he is not in district A, he couldn’t call for Utah so he wish and hope this man will be as good as him.

He has never been this nervous in a long time, not even when she disappeared or when she passed out on him several times. Today’s case was spectacular to him, he couldn’t fathom what was wrong no matter how much he tries.

They were just fine, did she pass out from hearing the story about his past? It can’t be, can’t it? That isn’t scary enough to make her pass out.

A lot of thoughts bombarded his mind as he was impatiently waiting for the man to be done. It is taking him forever just to examine a female.

“What is wrong with her? Is she okay?” He asked the moment the man raised his head from Daciana.

“Has she been under a lot of stress lately?” He asked. Alpha Connor didn’t know where the question was heading to but he nodded his head in response. She really has been under stress for a while now, this time the fault wasn’t from him but those darn humans.

Each time Alpha Connor thinks back to it, he regrets ever killing that human so easily. “Her body is week, she needs more strength to live and also, her pulse and that of the baby are weak too. Please do whatever you can to help her Alpha, I will also get her some herbs that will boost her strength, I –”

“Wait what? What did you just say? What baby?” Alpha Connor cuts in with a question and a frown on his face, he must have misheard him. What he said can’t be what he just heard right?

The man bowed his head in confusion, is the Alpha not aware that their Luna is expecting a child? Dizziness, blurry vision and lost of energy are signs of pregnancy, did he not notice?

“The Luna is pregnant, Alpha” he informed, the man had a smile on his face but Alpha Connor was too shocked to reply. He stayed frozen in a spot after hearing what the medicine man just said.

How did he not notice? Daciana is not a type of person that doesn’t like sleeping a lot but recently, she has been doing that a whole bunch of times. What is he supposed to do? His mate is pregnant with their little pup, a pup that will grow up and have both of their genes.

“Are you sure? Examine her again” he replied curiously.

“I have been in this field for a long time now Alpha, I can assure you that I felt two pulse. The Luna is pregnant” the man said confidently and Alpha Connor sprang up on his feet.

He doesn’t know how to react nor say anything further as he pace to and fro in the room. Daciana is really pregnant, pregnant with his baby, their baby. A relaxed and gladdened smile appeared on his face as both his wolf and rouge fight for dominance in his head to show their excitement.

Even after everything she went through, Daciana is ready to breed. It is a good news for Alpha Connor and being the first best thing that has happened to him in a while, he became speechless and didn’t know how to react which is unlike him.

He doesn’t know whether to cry or not but he is definitely happy, happy to hear that his beautiful little Luna has a pup growing inside her stomach.

“How long will she be asleep? When is she waking up” Alpha Connor asked. Even if he can’t think of doing anything right now, pulling Daciana into a warm embrace will be helpful to him but he can’t do that since she is still unconscious.

“I believe she will wake up soon, since she is not that strong, she deserves to be well taken care of and also avoid anything that will stress her” he replied as he pack up his bags to leave.

“If you will be here until afternoon, I will send in someone to bring some herbs for the Luna, it will help her replenish her energy” he added, bowed to Alpha Connor and stepped out of the room leaving the duo behind.

Once the man got out of the room, Alpha Connor sighed and walk up to Daciana laying on his bed with her eyes closed. He sat down at the edge of the bed and held her hand in his, anyone that sees him right now will think he is sick or crazy because of how he is unusually smiling brightly while staring at his Luna.

“Even when I have sinned against you and made life difficult for you, you still chose to bring happiness to me. Thank you my Queen, for being my mate”

Daciana looked around the unfamiliar place, she was met with the golden color ceiling in the room. For sometime, she couldn’t remember anything or where she is before it niggled at her that she is in Alpha Connor’s room in his father’s tower.

She sat up on the bed as she tries recalling what happened, she could remember the Alpha king telling her about his past and she ended up crying instead of comforting him. After that, she suddenly felt dizzy and had a slight stomach ache for a split second but she couldn’t remember anything after that.

“How is my Queen doing?” Alpha Connor’s sudden voice startled her that she almost jumped out of the bed. She sighed placing her hand on her chest in relief to know that it’s the Alpha king.

When what he said sink into her brain, her head snapped up to him, it almost hurt due to how fast she moved her head.

My Queen? That’s new. He must’ve made a mistake by calling her that but it made her blush and her inside turn.

She watch as Alpha Connor approached her, he sat down beside her on the bed and pulled her into a tight hug, taking her by surprise.

Daciana didn’t understand what the hug was for, was he worried about her? She was scared too when the dizziness hit her.

“Thank you so much Daciana, I don’t know what else to say to you” he said sincerely after pulling out of the hug.

What now? Something must have happened while she was unconscious, what happened? The more she thinks about it, the more curious she becomes.

“Did anything happen my king?” She mustered up the courage and asked. Alpha Connor nodded his head at her excitedly.

“You are pregnant with our baby, a little you and I” he informed, it took Daciana a little composure not to have scoffed at him.

What is he saying? That she is pregnant? She glanced at Alpha Connor and chuckled.

“That can’t be true” she said still chuckling but when she saw the serious look on Alpha Connor’s face, she stopped chuckling immediately. Alpha Connor is not the type that jokes around, he doesn’t have the time for that which means that he is saying the truth.

Her eyes flickered to her stomach and it stayed there longer than she wanted. She didn’t know she would get pregnant, she has never thought about it. She gently rubbed her stomach finding it hard to believe that there is a pup growing inside her.

She looked up at Alpha Connor to see him staring at her with a pleased smile on his face and then took her head to the floor. What is going to happen to her? How is she going to handle being pregnant and being a mother. Will she be good? Will she be a good mother? Daciana can barely take care of herself, how can she take care of another person?

After studying the look in her eyes, Alpha Connor shook his head and placed his hand on her shoulder to get her attention.

“I will be here with you till the end, we will shoulder everything together I promise so stop being scared, I won’t leave the responsibility of our child just to you, I am also sure that you’d make a great Mum” he encouraged, that seems to work on her as she sighed in relief.

She is really carrying a baby, her and the Alpha king’s baby. Knowing that Alpha Connor isn’t mad about the fact that she got pregnant, instead ecstasy about it made her even more happy. She felt as if she is on top of the world.

Having the Alpha king care and worry about her is the best thing that has ever happened in her life. All the memories she has are not so good nor did they help her grow.

“Do you need anything? The cooks are preparing something for us, I hope you are okay? Do you feel any pain? Does your stomach hurt?” He attacked her with questions and Daciana couldn’t stop a laugh from leaving her mouth. Why is he asking her so many questions at a time? Is he that worried about her?

“I am really fine my king, I am fine” she replied with a smile tugged on her lips. It will be a new experience for her and a lot of things about her will change as well due to the pregnancy.

“I am glad you are fine, please do not stress yourself. I will assign maids to you as many as I can to stop you from lifting even a finger, I promise to protect you and care for you as my mate, my Luna and the mother of my kids” he said proudly, the proud look on his face made him more handsome.

Nothing makes her more happy than knowing that the Alpha king accepted this pregnancy and he is ready to do whatever she wants for her. Isn’t she so lucky?
