Alpha Connor snarled trying to hold himself back form hurting Lynne. She has been there for him like a mother since he and Dolphus was accepted into this pack.

She holds a special place in his heart and hurting her would be something he’d regret the next moment.

He decided to control his anger.

“Who made her unconscious Lynne?” He asked more quietly this time but burning in fury, he was fuming loudly inside of him.

“Carey, she passed out due to the amount of work he gave her. I am sorry Alpha king, believe me I wasn’t aware of it, I didn’t know when it happened, I…”

Lynne was cut off by Alpha Connor’s domineering voice that thundered in her ears the minute he spoke up.

“Get the guards to bring the mines supervisor here immediately” he commanded with a low grunt.

He knows that he doesn’t like his mate but how can someone else touch what is his?

“Yes… Yes Alpha king”  Lynne scurried away, scared of seeing this side of Alpha Connor.

She knows how beastly he gets when he is annoyed.

Alpha Connor’s jaw tightened as he waited patiently for Carey to be brought to him.

He had wanted to let Dolphus rest but right now, they have a situation to handle.

He communicated with him in his usual way of conversing with Dolphus when both are away from each other.

Soon, Carey was dragged in by two huge guards.

He had thought this was a joke when he saw the guards but now that he is right in front of Alpha Connor who was staring at him with fire dangling in his eyes, he knew this can’t be a joke.

To say he was scared was an understatement, he was beyond terrified. The mortal terror in his eyes could be visible even to pups.

The guards dragged him down until he was in a kneeling position in Alpha Connor’s front.

Alpha Connor stayed mute, his eyes fixated on the male kneeling in his front as he tried to read through him to know why he had given his female, his possession loads of work which resulted to her going unconscious.

Just how bad was it? He will go see her but for now, he wants to deal with this disrespectful tiny subject of his that has boldly touched what was his or was it a punishment?

Alpha Connor hissed as he enter into Carey’s memory, the victim had tried molesting his belonging, he trespassed and didn’t stop on that but also gave her heavy loads of work to do?

By this time, Alpha Connor couldn’t hold in his anger anymore.

With the guards holding Carey, he jerked him up holding onto his shirt and gave him a hard punch on his face.

Carey’s mouth began bleeding almost immediately. Alpha Connor kicked him and made him kneel again.

That moment, Dolphus walked in, he was surprised to see the Alpha king all red in anger as he aggressively beat up the male in front of him.

Dolphus decided to watch to at least know why the guy is being punished and why Alpha Connor is all furious.

He wasn’t this enraged when he left about twenty minutes ago.

“Carey right?” Alpha Connor asked irritatingly.

Carey’s bloodied face looked up briefly.

“Yes Alpha king” he answered still unable to figure out why he is being punished.

It can’t be because of the slave Luna, Carey knows too well that Alpha Connor wouldn’t care if Daciana dies.

“Can I know why you overworked my female? Start answering me before I loose it” Alpha Connor asked glaring daggers at him.

Carey eyes popped up, he stiffened on hearing the question he was asked by the Alpha king.

Fear gripped him at the thought of Alpha Connor finding out why he had punished his Luna.

He thought he wouldn’t care but with the known danger boiling in Alpha Connor’s eyes, Carey immediately knew that he is screwed.

Alpha Connor has the power of a hundred wolves combined together, his punch is way too hard that Carey’s jaw got broken in the process.

Once again, Alpha Connor rushed towards him. This time around, he grabbed Carey’s hand and twisted it backwards.

Carey yelped, it hurt so much. He felt like he had dislocated his arm.

Another painful whimper left his mouth again as the Alpha king did same to his other hand completely making him go numb.

“Do you think you can lie to me?” Alpha Connor laughed, he was laughing yet, his face didn’t reveal any emotion of happiness aside from anger.

That was when Dolphus understood what was going on.

Dolphus was surprised as Carey as to why the Alpha king suddenly care about Daciana but then, Carey had no right to do whatever he did to their Luna.

He came to that conclusion and stood waiting for Alpha Connor to spare him a glance and give him his command but Dolphus didn’t see that happening soon.

The Alpha king was angry and way too riled up to notice his presence or he pretended not to see him.

Dolphus knew this might not end well with the way Alpha Connor’s eyes were red.

“Who gives a female thorns of bricks to carry from morning till night? Was that her assigned work? You had the guts to touch and threaten what is mine and lie to my face?”

By this time, Carey’s eyes were already bulged out. He felt panic-stricken, his body weakened.

He thought about how the Alpha king found out about his escapades. He began chickening out.

Alpha Connor kicked him, with each kick and punch he kept cursing loudly.

“You touched her, you held her even when she was repulsive and you had to punish her because she rejected you,

You tempered with my property, that female is mine, she belongs to me, I own her and no one else can touch her except me”

Alpha Connor looked around the room, his eyes settled on the glass seated on his table.

He took it and furiously broke it on Carey’s head making sure that the pieces of glasses enter deep into his skin.

Carey paled, his body weakened. He fell helplessly on the floor in great agony.

His body were all bruised up, all his strength left him.

At this point, he found it difficult to do or react in a way.

He just lay on the floor regretting why he had messed with the Alpha king’s woman.

Alpha Connor turned to Dolphus while preparing to leave the room.

“Take him to the cell section, torture him in anyway possible, beat him up, roast his brain if possible,

Give him the worst torture you can think of Dolphus, fry his reproductive organ but make sure to keep him alive”

He instructed while Dolphus stared at him in confusion as to why he is sparing Carey.

Is it the same male that left the Luna in a complicated situation?

Before Dolphus could say a thing, Alpha Connor was already out of the door with one thought in his mind.
