Before leaving his office I wiped my tears and turn to the beast
"let me remind you one thing Arthur, don't ever expect anything from me. I will never do the things that
a wife should do but I will make sure to hate you for entire life.
And yeah make a story to tell my father. Tell me date and time I will be at Civil Affairs Office."
With that I left from there and run to sea side. Tears were flowing like pool of water. I sit on sand at the
edge of beach where sea water was touching my bare foots and legs.
I hugged my knees and cried. Why God why all this is happening in my life? What will dad think, what
will be his reaction? Will he accept this relation?
All these questions were killing me. I regretted the day I met this beast, the day I applied for job in his
company. If he thinks that he can rule over me than he is wrong. I am Tiffany Baker who never bend to
their enemies.
I called Jasi "Jasi please come to beach site"
I did not wait for her to reply me and cut the call.
After 30 minutes I heard Jasi bubbling something but I hugged her tightly and cried on her shoulder.
She was rubbing my back "Tiff tell me what happened to you. Your silence is killing me"
"Jasi that beast blackmailed me and........" I told everything that happened in Brown's cooperation to
Jasi.
"What??" I heard Robins voice from behind.
I could sense frustration in his voice. He walk to me and said "Tiffany Arthur is my best friend and I
know him from when we were just 13.
He is not what he shows to outer world. His life is a mystery and you are the only one who could solve
this mystery.
He needs love, care and attention, and you can give him all this. Please don't hate him. And I promise
he will never harm you or do anything against your will."
He patted at my shoulder. Jasi yelled at him "Robin what do you mean by he will never harm her, isn't it
enough he is destroying her life by forcing her into this shitty marriage."
'His life is a mystery' only these words were revolving in my mind. I was unable to hear anything. No
Tiffany no, you can't trust that beast. He is a womanizer and nothing else.
I cleared my head that's when my phone rang and it was from dad.
My hands start trembling. I took a deep breath to steady my shaky breaths.
"Dad"
"Princess do you really love him?"
"Love? whom dad" I was confused.
"Arthur Brown, your CEO"
"who told you this dad?" I know who told dad this fake story. I sneered in disgust.
"Arthur called me and ask for my permission to marry you. I know what princess decides would be best
for her. And I am happy for you that you choose him. He has a beautiful heart"
Tears start prickling from my eyes. Dad he is a beast without heart.
"Yes dad, he is a nice person and I love him"
"Stay blessed princess. Now go he must be waiting for you."
"Okay bye dad. Take care after signing papers I will visit you"
"Bye princess"
I cut the call and screamed to let out my frustration and anger. My voice echoed in beach.
"I am going bye" Jasi tried to catch up with me but I gave her a reassuring smile and drive to Civil
Affairs office.
That beast was waiting for me, outside the building. I walked near him and said "let's go" and without
looking at him I entered inside the building.
We both were silent and just like that we signed marriage certificates. Now we are legally married.
What a shit!
•Third Person POV•
"Mom why did you call me, I was having fun time" handsome and well build man but not as Arthur
entered in house while complaining.
"Ayan our company needs investors and thanks to me our project is accepted by Brown's cooperation.
This is our golden chance to enhance our reputation. Are you getting me?"
"Yes mom, and you know mom you have such an evil mind. You even kicked out bro to implicate your
evil schemes"
Ayan laughed clutching his stomach.
"Shut your mouth Ayan. Don't ever take his name in front of me. He was only a black scar to our family.
I care less whether he is alive or dead."
