Her Life Starts to Spin out of Control

Chapter 254 White Lotus Flower

Chapter 254 White Lotus Flower

When the waiter finally left, Sophia looked at Flynn in mere curiosity and asked in a surprised tone, "Is

a serve of steak already enough for you?"

"Speaking of which, a serve of steak is too much for you already. Can you really finish all the steak,

wine and ice-cream?" He responded by also putting up another question. He was aware that women

couldn't eat too much. Women were always picky when it came to food.

Sophia put on a pretentious smile and replied, "I can have another two set of meals. No worries."

Flynn was utterly astonished by her appetite. He didn't expect that the girl in front of her could eat that

much! He came closer to Sophia and asked with his eyebrows raised, "Are you even a human being?"

Her sexy and curvy body made Flynn doubt if Sophia's words were true.

"Fuck off. Do I need to do something to prove myself as a woman?" She raised her eyebrows and

looked at him defiantly.

Then, the waiter brought to the table an expensive bottle of the 1982 Vantage Lafite. He opened it and

poured some into the wine decanter.

"How can you prove that? Show me, then." Flynn said, excitedly expecting Sophia to give in to his

desires.

Sophia moved closer to Flynn and whispered, "You should ask Colin about this. He knows clearly what

kind of person I am."

As she sat with an upright posture, Flynn gazed at her intently. Sophia sneered, knowing what Flynn

was thinking.

Flynn nodded with such admiration, "You're really good at seducing men. I'll give you that." Then

Sophia replied in a casual tone, "Mr. Flynn, as for this lunch, can we go Dutch instead?." Flynn knew

what she meant. He knew that she was playing tricks on him. If Flynn went Dutch, he would give

Sophia a hint that he would give up on her.

Flynn smiled at Sophia lustfully and said, "Nice try. I must pay the bill. Don't argue with me."

Sophia felt helpless. This was an arrogant man in front of her. What's wrong with this man, she thought

to herself. Hadn't she been told that men always love virgins? And she had provoked Flynn so many

times already. Why wouldn't he just give up? She already gave him a really difficult time.

Sophia gently massaged her aching forehead and suddenly thought of something. She came closer to

Flynn and poured another glass of wine. "Are you sexually impotent? I think you are."

This was the only possibility. Otherwise, a man that rich and amorous as Flynn would have all kinds of

women fighting against each other for his love and attention. If that's the case, he would never want a

divorced woman to become his partner. He would want somebody fresh.

Flynn's facial expression immediately darkened. "Sophia, do you have any idea of what a man hates

the most? You should be more sensitive!"

"Of course, I know that." How couldn't she know that? That's why she didn't dare to ask Colin that

question. But she was playing tricks on Flynn. "But I asked you seriously. So take it easy and answer

my question."

Flynn put down the wine bottle on the table and said, "I will get a room at the No. 8 Cruise Ship. Will

you join me tonight?"

This was unexpected and uncalled for! Sophia was taken aback by his blunt invite. Why would Flynn

suddenly be bold about this matter? Did she underestimate him? All right. She tried to veer away from

her wild imagination...

They drank to a toast. To make him give up pursuing her, Sophia started telling him about her ugly

past. "I was fat and silly. Moreover, a bitch took my ex-boyfriend away from me. I also gave birth to a

baby. My body is not as sexy and fit as before. Now, I'm accused of being somebody's mistress. More

importantly, I have an ex-husband. I'm a divorced woman. No one would ever want to pursue me.

That's the truth."

After saying these words, she stared at Flynn, expecting a negative response from him.

Did she give birth to a baby? Flynn thought in bewilderment. Flynn shot a curious glance at Sophia and

wondered whether that baby's father was Colin himself. That was a strong possibility. A moment later,

he asked Sophia in a very serious tone, "Where's the baby now? We are rich. So, raising and

supporting a baby will not pose any difficulty for us."

Sophia never thought Flynn would give such a loving and kind-hearted answer. Because of that,

Sophia dropped the topic. She had to find another way...

However, Flynn was already thinking of Ambrose. Of course, Sophia didn't know what he was thinking.

When the plates of delicious steaks were served, Flynn voluntarily cut the steaks for Sophia. It was

really a sweet gesture. "Colin doesn't love you. I think you should know that already."

"Why? How can you say that?" Sophia was becoming a bit angry because of what he said.

"If he loved you, I wouldn't have lunch with you today. He would have been with you." Flynn sat upright,

although he could already sense the sharp, piercing glances from Sophia.

Sophia gulped down a glass of wine. She was actually wondering if Flynn just told the truth. At this

moment, both Sophia and Flynn shifted their view onto Colin and their eyes met one another.

Sophia could see Colin fumbling through his phone. Seconds later, her own phone suddenly rang.

Sophia opened her phone quickly and saw a message from Colin. It said, "Sophia, you are dead meat."

"Eat some more."

Sophia lost sense of reality. So, what did Colin mean by saying that?

Flynn could see Sophia checking a message on her phone, and thought Colin must have sent her a

message. He hated the fact that they were doing this in secret. In front of him...

"Sophia." He spoke immediately in a determined tone. He was already getting frustrated.

"Uh?" Sophia answered, obviously absent-minded.

"I'm gonna take you to the mall and I'll buy you a diamond ring. Do you want that?" He said in a clear

and loud voice.

Hearing these words, Sophia nearly choked while eating her steak. Flynn was such a freak. She just

wanted him to give up on her! She drank some water to stop herself from choking and answered

hastily, "Buy me a diamond ring? Why don't you just give me a diamond deposition as a gift?"

Flynn almost rolled his eyes. This woman was unbecoming of a lovely girl.

"Can I give you a gold mine, instead? My family doesn't have a diamond deposition yet. But I'll try to

make it happen." He was actually telling the truth.

Sophia swallowed the steak in her mouth and answered hastily again, "I only want a diamond

deposition. You can keep the golden one to yourself."

"So, you are deliberately refusing me to make me feel awkward, aren't you? I know what you are doing,

Sophia." He had figured out Sophia's scheme.

"Yes, you're right. Am I annoying? Because of that, we can go Dutch later." Sophia exclaimed in an

excited tone. She knew she was already close to annoying Flynn.

Flynn smiled knowingly with pleasure in his eyes. "Sophia, you don't follow the rules. I love that in you. I

think it makes you more beautiful."

Sophia was speechless right now. Then she just bowed down and continued eating.

When they finished eating, Sophia called Aaron on the phone.

"Where are you now? What are you doing?" Sophia asked anxiously.

"I'm waiting for Colin outside of the restaurant. Why?"

"Oh. Where is she?" She instantly looked at the door out of curiosity and saw a Cayenne parked

outside.

Aaron knew what she was implying and said, "She has left already."

He ordered somebody to teach her a lesson and let her go. Something big was about to happen, and

Dorothy would be a part of it. So she mustn't have any accident for now.

"Ok, no worries. Goodbye and thank you." She hung up the phone and instantly felt relieved. It was her

who was holding some grudge against Dorothy, not Aaron.

Flynn wiped his mouth with a handkerchief before saying, "I thought you're as innocent as a white lotus

flower. But you're not. You must be hiding something. I always love mysterious women."

Sophia asked in return, "What do you mean? I don't understand you." She put her phone on the table.

"You should lecture Dorothy every day so that she would behave herself. That woman needs to be

taught some harsh lessons in life."

Sophia shook her head and replied, "You don't know me. I'm not as good a person as you think. I

asked my brother to let her go because I don't want Aaron to be involved with this woman. As for

myself, I won't let her off the hook that easily."

"Is that so? I admire Aaron for putting up with you then. He is so supportive of you."

Sophia was taken aback again. She replied, "Mr. Fan, I think you're missing the key point."

"What's the key point then?" Flynn called the waiter to get them the bill.

"The key point is that I won't forgive anybody for trying to hurt me or my family." She said in a very

sincere tone.

Flynn gave his credit card to the waiter and replied, "There's nothing wrong with that. No one could just

hurt a person so intentionally like that."

His affirmation comforted Sophia. She felt relieved to have somebody accept her ideas. It wasn't

always that way with her previous relationships.

She stopped the waiter from leaving and said to Flynn in a strong voice, "We can go Dutch. So, Mr.

Fan, don't feel forced to pay the bill. I don't mind it."

Flynn smiled softly, "Then, can you pay the bill?" Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.

"Of course, I can do this. You don't have to worry!" Sophia said excitedly.

"Then, I can buy you lunch the other day. I should repay you for your kind deed." Flynn said and

smiled.

'Isn't this an indirect way of dating?' Sophia thought helplessly. Sophia had to do all kinds of tricks to

stop Flynn.

She utterly failed at persuading Flynn to give up on her. What should she do now? Maybe it was

because she was not that good with words...
