Compared to his wretchedness and hopelessness?" Exasperation was plastered all over Xynthia's face. "My Sis has struck eight generations worth of bad luck to have married you!"

Meanwhile in the hall, everyone's curiosity was piqued. Their eyes staring straight at Zack without blinking. They wanted to know who he was going to propose to.

Zack was feeling proud of himself. While clad in a white suit, he looked quite like the fabled prince charming. He looked glamorous and delighted. He thought about how he would soon be able to hold a beautiful woman in his arms. He was also about to grasp the power of the Zimmer family in his hands. He could not resist smiling.

He suppressed his impulse to cackle out wildly. His lips hooked into an ambitious smile. He displayed a relaxed aura and faced the crowd while slightly leaning back. He gently said, "Ladies and gentlemen, family heads, dearest family and friends. I have something to say. When I first met this woman, it was love at first sight. She has made my withered heart come back to life! From that day onward, I have decided that I, Zack Zimmer, will work hard to bring her all the happiness she deserves! Today, in front of this crowd, I would like to say what I have been keeping in my heart for the past few days. I hope that all of you will be my witnesses!"

Zack drew in a deep breath and turned his gaze onto Wendy Sorrell who was still watching the drama unfolding. He then said with hopeful expectations painted on his face, "Wendy, would you marry me?"

Mandy turned pale. She knew why she had lost to this man. Since Zack and Wendy had this relationship, she would never be able to win this fight.
