Chapter 83

"How about you let my wife and her friends go while I be your playmate for a while, you got the balls for that?" Harvey York offered.

"Sure." Zayn Lewis replied with a serious face as he didn't want too many people to see what he's planning to do to Harvey.

"You brought this upon yourself Harvey, it's no longer our business anymore!" Cecilia Zachary yelled while dragging Mandy Zimmer out of the room.

Wyatt Johnson had also followed the girls and instantly shut the door as he was afraid that Zayn might change his mind.

As Mandy recovered from the shock, she found herself outside of the restaurant with Cecilia and Wyatt.

"No! I'm going back to Harvey!" Mandy said with a panicked voice.

Mandy had never thought that her so-called useless husband would stand up for her in that situation.

"Are you out of your mind Mandy? You won't be coming out again if you go back in!" Cecilia interrupted immediately.

"But..."

"Wyatt, you know a lot of people right? Please help me out." Mandy asked anxiously.

"Mandy, it's not that I don't want to help, but you saw the situation, it's your husband who had beaten up Mr. Lewis. Bringing both of you out was the most I can do." Wyatt replied while secretly hoping that Harvey gets beaten to death so that he could take Mandy.

Back in the VIP room, the atmosphere was quite intense.

"Any last words before you go meet your maker?"

The subordinate asked while trying to scare Harvey.

"You sure you got the guts?" Harvey replied and threw a name card at Zayn.

"A f*cking name card? Who do you think you have on your side?" Zayn mocked.

"A name card? This fella has got to be crazy to think that he could get away with just a name card. Have you watched too much drama, kid?" the subordinate continued to mock with a sarcastic tone.

"You sure you don't wanna take a look?" Harvey replied confidently.

"CEO of York Enterprise..." Zayn nearly fainted after he saw those words.

How could it be possible? This worthless sack of trash was surprisingly the CEO of York Enterprise?

Zayn inspected the card with doubt, but was later dumbfounded as the secret pattern on the card matched with the one on the card of the previous CEO, Belle York.

Zayn was startled as he had no idea what to say nor do at that moment as he would usually use the name of the Yorks to establish his status but today, he had never thought that he would meet the big shot and what's worse, was that he had offended him.

Zayn was so embarrassed that he wished to bury himself in a hole.

"Why the face Mr. Lewis? Have you not seen this card before?" Harvey asked with an emotionless tone.

"I... I've seen this... before" Zayn replied with a pained look as he returned the card back politely to Harvey's hands. He knows that he's not even qualified to hold something like that as it would need someone who's on par in terms of status to hold it.

Although being the new CEO of York Enterprise was already a very prestigious title, a guy who suddenly took hold of the title would be even more proud and deserved more respect. At least that was what the outsiders thought.

Although York Enterprise was considered a business group, it was actually a very ancient family with a lot of house rules. So although Zayn could be counted as the outer quarter of the Yorks, he would also get himself into creating trouble if he messed with the people from the main branch of the Yorks, which meant more than he could afford to lose.

Because of that, Zayn corrected his attitude immediately although he still doubted Harvey's identity.

Zayn then went looking for his mobile phone as he still couldn't make himself believe that the beggar- looking kid in front of him was the current CEO of York Enterprise.

"You're trying to make a call I believe, let me help you." Harvey said as he snatched the phone from Zayn's hands and dialed some numbers.

"Hello?" A cold and serious voice could be heard through the speaker.

The familiar voice belonged to Yvonne Xavier, a gorgeous and hard working secretary in front of Harvey. She was also the icon of York Enterprise before the CEO revealed himself.

After hearing Yvonne's voice, Zayn nearly fainted again as he could not believe that Harvey had just called Yvonne through her personal number. That explained everything including Zayn's current situation.

Splat!

Zayn's phone fell to the ground followed by his knees.
