Harvey York's Rise to Power

Chapter 6360

"Closed?' Harvey smiled gently. He took out a photo from his pocket, and gave it to the security guard.

"She was your boss, correct? I heard she lost her husband and only had one son. Unfortunately, her son was

useless, and they lost almost everything that her husband had left for her. Now, she's dead. Her son must be

mourning inside, correct?

"Why don't you go in and ask your little employer if he wanted to know the truth of his mother's death? If he

wants to, then letin. I can confidently say that I'm the only one who can help him get to the truth of his All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.

mother's death."

The security guard looked at him strangely. After holding the photo for a moment, he quickly went in.

Five minutes later, Harvey was inside the furniture complex.

All the shops inside the complex were closed, and the lights in the corridors weren't switched on as well. Only the

dim emergency lights would occasionally flash.

In the corner of the complex, several security guards were sitting on the floor lazily as they smoked. They gave

Harvey a dark look when they noticed him.

Harvey wasn't interested in the security guards at all. He headed to the only elevated hall in the entire complex

on the top floor.

Normally, this hall would usually be the liveliest. However, the atmosphere was extremely suppressive.

There were lights all around the hall, but they were all covered with black fabrics. No matter how Harvey looked

at it, they looked awkward and out of place.

In the middle of the hall was a casket made from the finest Sandalwood. The cold air was permeating in the hall.

The hall looked especially haunted, as if it was from a ghost story thanks to the dim light and frosty air.

The most bizarre of them all was that a man wearing a white shirt was sitting on the floor.

His face was sickly pale, and he also looked quite frail. It was obvious that all the drinking and unrestrained sex

had caught up with him.

There wasn't a lot of sorrow in his expression. Instead, there was only despair and malevolence-like a dying man

whose final hope had been taken away from him by force.

Someone like him would usually beca mad extremist.

This was the young successor of this furniture complex. The only son of the lady who died in the police station.

Helios Carter.

Helios seemed to hear the sounds of footsteps, and raised his head to look at Harvey. Something seemed to be

wiggling inside his empty eyes.

Harvey calmly looked at the photo of the deceased in front of him.

He bowed before respectively heading to the staff at the side and gave ssympathy money out of respect.

Then, he turned his attention to Helios. "Helios Carter, is it? The dead can't return to life. The living should

becstronger. You have my condolences."

"Condolences?"

Helios turned to look at Harvey, and he suddenly cracked a smile.

Harvey could sense the madness in him.

"You're Harvey, right? You have a lot to do with my mom's death, right? Now that my mom's dead, I'm going to

organize a great funeral for her. But it seems you've made your way here even withoutinviting you!

"Seems like the gods do pityafter all! I don't even have to get any offerings ready! Alright, boys. Now's the

tto show your worth! Cut him down and hang his head up there!

"As a fresh offering for my mom!"
