Chapter 1199 Darcy as President

Now that Max kneeled before Kaze, Yuri no longer wanted to get into it with Kaze.

However, Kaze walked ahead without looking at Yuri.

Standing still, Kaze stared at Bernard, Jack, Peter, and the members who withdrew their membership from Lilyrose Commerce Guild.

"Mr. Lee."

Close to a hundred members acknowledged Kaze's presence.

Darcy's eyes welled up.

Once upon a time, the public saw Kaze as the loser who mooched off his wife.

Now, Lilyrose's finest entrepreneurs showed respect to Kaze.

*You are so badass today, babe," Darcy murmured while covering her mouth.

Not catching his wife's remark, Kaze said with a smile, "Thank you for the honor. I have met many friends in Lilyrose's business scene."

"We're just doing our part," the group answered.

Kaze waved his arm, and the chatter quieted down. Kaze said, "I humbly seek a favor to rejoin Lilyrose Commerce Guild."

Huh?

Everybody was taken aback by Kaze's request.

The members including Bernard, Peter, and Jack decided there and then to quit the guild because Kaze came into conflict with Yuri.

Yet now, Kaze wanted everybody to rejoin Lilyrose Commerce Guild. What was going on?

Regardless, they were happy to do him the favor.

*The Vikroms formally rejoin Lilyrose Commerce Guild."

*The Logmans too."

*The Joestars as well."

With the three family heads making their stance, the others followed suit.

Kneeling on the ground, Yuri was overjoyed.

"You're a bigger man than I ever am, Mr. Lee. You are able to look past what I have done for the development of Lilyrose. I am a disgrace."

Yuri sucked up while scooting toward Kaze on his knees. He said in glee, "Your membership with Lilyrose Commerce Guild would boost the city's economy.

*I would like to extend a membership invitation to you. You and Ms. Quint could work together as vice presidents."

Thinking Kaze wanted the whole thing to blow over, Yuri extended good graces.

It would be a win-win situation then.

However, Kaze glanced at him and scoffed. "I have no interest in joining Lilyrose Commerce Guild.

"What's the point of being the vice president? You should at least offer the position of the president."

The crowd got the message.

Kaze was trying to push Darcy to become the president of Lilyrose Commerce Guild.

*Ms. Quint is the chairwoman of Quartet Group and Sky Ocean Corporation. She's a model entrepreneur. We, the Vikroms, are in favor of Ms. Quint guiding the guild as president."

Darcy was dumbfounded. It never occurred to her that Kaze would appoint her as president of Lilyrose Commerce Guild on a whim.

Kaze cocked his head back and said with a smile, "Since everybody is insisting, I don't think you should just sit there, babe."

Darcy was not one to be pretentious. She took a deep breath and went up to say, "I am aware that I'm not the most experienced. Still, I am humbled by your trust in me.

"I promise that I will do everything I can to contribute to the organization as president."

Yuri was stunned amid the applause and cheering.

He tugged on Kaze's pant leg. "With Ms. Quint becoming the president, what about me, Mr. Lee?"

*You?"

Kaze looked at him and said with a chuckle, "You can resign from Lilyrose Commerce Guild."
