Chapter 29: 29

Dharani POV

After eating, we went into our room, and I started removing my bangles and earrings. I wanted to ask

him, why he did not kiss me, but I don't have guts to ask him. What will he think about me then? I

sighed and looked toward the ceiling to find a creepy lizard watching me intently. Like it's anytime ready

to jump on me.

I am very scared of lizards.

Before I turned around to walk away, I felt something going in my blouse.

OMG! Lizard!

I closed my eyes and started shouting and jumping....."Ahaaaaaaaaaa help help Akashhhhhh" I

shouted on top of my lungs.

"Ahaaaaaa help" I ran here and there trying to slip my hands inside my blouse.

"Angel, what happened? Why are you shouting?" Akash asked me with panic filled voice.

"Lizard went into my blouse" I was struggling hard trying to take away that lizard when Akash tried to

hold me.

"It is nothing! Listen to me, angel" he said.

"Akash, help me!!" I cried out aloud but he was already there, imprisoning me in his arms. My scream

rose even higher, struggling hard to get out of his grip.

"Angel its all right!! Calm down! Let me help you. For God's sake, stop screaming Angel" he said.

But I threw my saree away and started shouting "Lizard inside my blouse. It's there..." I was screaming

out aloud again.

"There is..Liz....lizard" I screamed again.

"Dharani, LISTEN TO ME NOW!!" Akash shouted and held me.

"Akash, save me please" I closed my eyes and hugged him tightly.

"Let me help you angel" He broke the hug and turned me around.

"Please, fast Akash" I cried.

I felt his hand behind my back opening the blouse hook one by one, slowly. Strangely, my fear flew

away when I feel his touch on my bare back. His touch created havoc in my body, and I slowly opened

my eyes. I watched him through the dressing mirror in front of me.

His action brought tears in my eyes. He closed his eyes trying hard to find the lizard. I was stunned by

his decent character. He opened my last blouse hook, and something fell to the floor with little 'ting'

sound. I noticed there is no lizard on my back but its my hair pin, which went inside my blouse. I slowly

raised my head to look toward the ceiling finding the creepy lizard sitting there peacefully.

I was so dumb! I just created a big scene for this hair pin.

Then Akash moved his hand on my bare back "Angel, I think there's nothing" I turned around to see

him and he still closing his eyes.

"Yes nothing. It's just my hair pin, which went in my blouse" I said slowly.

"What???" He shouted opening his eyes wide.

"Yes, it's my hair pin. But I mistook it to be a lizard. That's why I shouted, sorry" I smiled sheepishly at

him, and hit my forehead embarrassingly.

"Oh angel! You just scared me to death!" He held me tightly against his chest.

"Please don't scare me like this angel" Akash said steadily, stressing each word. I slowly nodded my

head. He kissed my hair lightly. I could hear his heart beating very fast. I felt bad for scaring him so

much because of my stupidness.

Then suddenly, my eyes went to the mirror. I watched our reflection, and my eyes opened widely. I was

standing only in my blouse and skirt. Just then I remembered throwing my saree away while

screaming.

God! How embarrassing! What will Akash think about me?

I started wriggling in his arms, and Akash released me. Looking at me, his eyes went widened. I

lowered my gaze shyly, and he turned around abruptly.

"Shit, shit" I heard him cursing.

"I'm sorry angel. I didn't notice it. You change your saree. I will wait outside." He left the room hurriedly.

I sighed a relief and draped my saree around me.

Today I realized that I can trust Akash.

He didn't take advantage of this situation. I was literally half naked in front of him, hugging him but he

didn't even look at me with lust.

'So you trust him? Now you don't have any doubt?' my mind asked.

'Yes, I trust him truly' I replied without any hesitation.

Suddenly, I heard a knock at the door. "Angel, can I come in? Are you dressed?" He asked.

"Yes, come in" He entered silently and laid down in his left side. I switched off the lights. We didn't talk

and soon drifted off into sleep.

Akash POV

I squinted, as the harsh sunlight filtered in through the slightly open curtains. I closed my eyes again.

However, I smiled as I felt a warm body against me. I looked over my left and saw my angel's face

buried in the crook of my neck, her even breathing blowing soft warm breaths. I felt peace being with

her. I turned towards her and tucked the few strands of her hair, resting on her forehead, behind her

ears. I then leaned in and kissed her head. I whispered lazily in her eyes "Good morning angel!"

Today is Sunday, so no office. Last week, we were very busy with our presentation. We couldn't even

spend time together. I want to spend the whole day with her, and I also want to gift her something

because yesterday she nailed the presentation. But, what will I give her?

Then suddenly an idea stuck my mind. I'm sure she'll definitely like my gift. I smiled at my thought and

called up my manager to arrange for her gift.

I want to see her reaction when she sees my gift.

Bright sunlights hit my face. I opened my eyes and direct rays from the sun were burning my eyes. I

waited until my eyes adjusted themselves with the brightness. I blinked twice to clear my sleepy eyes. I

turned to my left to see Akash face, but he is not there.

Yesterday's event rushed through my mind. The presentation, Akash's possessive act, our chocolate

romance, my embarrassing moments and last, but not least. I realized that I can trust Akash, and I

know he will never break my trust.

First, he already gained my forgiveness.

Second, Now he earned my trust.

The only thing remaining is my heart, and I'm sure he will definitely win that too.

I sighed happily and turned around. That's when my eyes caught on a parcel gift wrapped in red Colour

sheet. It was placed on the bed stand. I picked up the note kept beside the gift and read it.

"For my beautiful angel!" I blushed and opened the gift. I was surprised to find a designer yellow saree.

It's so soft. I touched it with my palm, and a smile broke out on my lips.

There was a note "Wait for my surprise angel, this is just the start. I promise to fulfill this Sunday with

fun" I looked here and there to find Akash, but he is not here. Sighing, I went to washroom to get to

freshen up. I happily wore the saree he was gifted me and walked out of the washroom.

I applied a pinch of sindoor on my hair partition. I blushed seeing the red sindoor, remembering my

husband's naughtiness. I was wearing earring.

Suddenly, there was a knock at my bedroom door. I open my door and see no one but when I look

down, I found another note on the floor. I smiled.

"Follow the rose petals. I am waiting for you" I found a path under my feet made of rose petals. It led

me outside, to the French door towards the pool. I walked to the pool side and climbed the stairs which

led onto the terrace. I opened the terrace door and was welcomed by the rose petals, which fell over

me. A wide small smile crept on my lips, and suddenly someone closed my eyes from behind. I jumped

in fright.

"Shhh relaxes angel. It's me. Walk straight. Just trust me, ok" he whispered into my ears and kissed my

earlobe.

I nodded my head whispering "I trust you Akash." I whispered, But I think he didn't hear my words. I

sighed sadly.

I think he is leading me to the other side on the terrace. But why is he taking me there?

God only knows what surprise he planned for me!
