Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 781

Why do we need to republish Flora's scores and publicly apologize to her?

Abbey was beside herself with worry upon hearing this. She hurried to speak up, but a single glance from Tommy silenced her, though she remained indignant. In her view, Flora was powerless and insignificant on Lone Island, relying solely on Connor and incapable of causing any real trouble. There was no need to make such a fuss over apologizing to her. Moreover, this would tarnish Lone Island's reputation. Tommy was well aware of this, but he had no choice. To everyone else, it might be fine, but Connor was a different story. He was a madman. He had decided to protect Flora today, and without giving him an explanation, he would not let it go.

Kruz sneered, "Tommy, a mere servant doesn't have the capacity to switch the contestants' papers, does she? Do you even believe what you're saying?"

"I wonder if the Austenberg team can accept my decision?" Tommy ignored Kruz, continuing to speak with a smile. His gaze, however, subtly swept over Connor.

Mr. Tanner understood that this was a significant concession from Tommy. Expecting Abbey to step forward was utterly out of the question. He took a deep breath, about to speak, when Flora's voice rang out: "There's only one way to end this. Whoever caused the trouble should bear it. Abbey, who swapped the papers and altered the scores, must come out and apologize."

At these words, the entire room was shocked! Where did she get the confidence to demand an apology from an heir of the White family? Amanda couldn't help but give Flora a few more glances. This girl was bolder than she had imagined.

"I wonder who holds the decision-making power in the Austenberg team? Is it in the hands of Flora, the contestant, or in your hands, Mr. Tanner?" Tommy's gaze was heavy as he looked towards Mr. Tanner.

Mr. Tanner amiably responded, "In

this matter, Flora is the victim, and I

will listen to her completely." Accepting the apology was actually quite frustrating for him as wel Flora's wish was his command.

"I've said my piece. You have twenty minutes. If Abbey hasn't come forward to apologize by then, I'll handle it my own way." After all this time, Flora was thoroughly annoyed. "Connor, let's go."

"Alright." Connor nodded lightly,

taking her slightly cold hand, and

they strode out. Passing Tommy, Connor's somber gaze lingered on him for a moment before moving on. Seeing Flora leave, Mr. Tanner hesitated for a moment before hurrying out as well. Debra, Joy, and the others naturally had no choice but to follow.

"Minister, aren't you going to do something about Flora? Did you hear how bold she was just now?" Outside, Debra couldn't help but speak up.

Joy chimed in, "Yes, mentor, I'm

worried that Flora's actions will really anger the White family, which could be detrimental to us." Joy thought she understood Mr. Tanner well, believing he always prioritized the interests of Austenberg, and she guessed that Mr. Tanner was probably blaming Flora inside, thinking she was too reckless.

However, Mr. Tanner simply glanced at them indifferently. "Oh, let them be angry if they want." His tone was as casual as could be.

"What?" Joy was stunned. This was completely unlike Mr. Tanner.

"Just look at Flora, how noble and upright she is. Now look at yourselves!" Mr. Tanner spoke as if he was disappointed. "With your attitudes, it's no wonder you're being bullied." Even though he knew it might not be appropriate for him as their coach to say such things, but...
