Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 775

"What?" Abbey's expression finally shifted.

The Falcone family, the Washington family, and the Reyes family all sent representatives? Three of the four most powerful families on Lone Island, excluding the White family, were here. And all for Flora?

It made sense for the Falcone family to send someone, but why would the Reyes and Washington families come for Flora too?

Without time to dwell on it, she rushed to greet them, reaching the door just as Amanda and her group strolled up.

She hastened towards them, addressing Amanda and Elio at the front with a warm smile, "Mrs. Falcone, Uncle Elio, what brings you here?"

"We heard there was some trouble here, and I was nearby, so I decided to check it out," Amanda replied nonchalantly.

"I'm here looking for my daughter, you don't need to worry about me." Elio waved dismissively. Nina was missing, and her GPS watch indicated she was here.

Hearing this, Abbey sighed in relief. Of course, they couldn't all be here just for Flora. One girl couldn't possibly wield that much influence.

"Kruz, Ethan, Adrian, you're here too. Is there something you need?" she asked softly, glancing at the trio.

"We're here whether we have business or not; what's it to you!" Kruz snapped, striding quickly towards Flora, with Adrian following close behind.

"Flora, are you okay?"

"We're here now; no one's going to mess with you."

Flora gave them a cool look, showing no emotion, but the tension around her seemed to ease a bit.

Ethan scanned the surroundings as if looking for someone.

Abbey had never been treated like this before; her face darkened, but she forced a smile. "Mrs. Falcone, Uncle Elio, I'm sorry to have inconvenienced you. It's really nothing, we'll have it sorted out soon."

Amanda asked, her tone icy, "The Medical League competition is vital for Lone Island; it can't be taken lightly. I heard there was an issue with a participant's score?

"We're looking into it," Abbey replied, her gaze flicking to Mr. Tanner and Flora, her expression seemingly helpless. Flora, I've been very clear. You scored zero, and that's that, Making a fuss won't change anything; I can't just alter your Score."

Mr. Tanner was dumbfounded.

What did she mean by that? Making a fuss won't change anything?

All the contestants from Austenberg looked equally confused. Abbey's sudden change in demeanor was shocking.

It seemed Ms. Abbey wasn't as noble as they had thought; her words were quite despicable.

Hearing Abbey's statement, Amanda's face grew colder. She turned her icy gaze to Flora, "Are you saying they're causing trouble on purpose?" Abbey didn't answer, just gave a wry smile.

"We didn't!" Mr. Tanner quickly protested, "We never said that, we are..."

"Mr. Tanner, I've been very clear. What you want, I can't provide."

"You!" Mr. Tanner was shaking with anger; he had never encountered someone so shameless!

"Flora, scoring Now isn't the end of the world, but you must stay honorable. As the organizer, I must ensure fairness and integrity, and absolutely cannot falsify results for you. Abbey sighed, continuing. This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.

Here, her word was law, and she naturally controlled the narrative.

She deliberately belittled Flora in front of Amanda, and as expected, Amanda's expression grew colder by the minute.

Not knowing Flora well, Amanda had only met her once at the Falcone family villa, so she had no understanding of her temperament or character.
