Charlie looked at the woman beside him. At this time, her clear eyes were looking seriously at Nick, who was sitting opposite him.

Charlie raised his eyebrows and stepped forward to block her sight. “Did you know Nick Grand before?”
She shook her head. After that, she felt that something was wrong. “I know him. He was in charge of my father’s previous case. We have nothing to do with each other.”
“Your father?”
“Yes.” Thinking of the past, she felt inexplicably upset. Thinking of the conversation just now, she couldn’t help asking him, “Mr. Athena, why didn’t you refuse Mr. Grand’s conditions directly just now?”
