ANITA'S POV

"Beta and Lola?" Ben acted surprised.

"Yes," I said. I wondered why he was surprised, he is a gossip, I didn't expect him to be clueless about their relationship.

"No, I think you mean Alpha and Lola. The Beta has never dated Lola," He revealed and I could feel my heart skip a mighty beat.

I shook my head in disagreement. There is no way that this is actually true. Ben is the one lying, Alpha Robin could never lie to me about such a sensitive topic.

"No, the Alpha told me that Lola is in a relationship with Beta," I explained after a minute or so of processing what he had just said.

"He lied to you. Ask around. From the stories I have had, he was shagging Lola. I don't know why he had to lie about that," Ben said and I couldn't handle it.

"Get out!" I demanded. He had crossed the line. He was doing the same thing that he did last time. He had zero respect for the Alpha, he kept on cooking lies about him and I couldn't stand his behaviour.

"Come on, you asked a question and I gave you my honest answer. I am telling you the truth, I don't really understand why you are offended," Ben said.

"Get the fuck out!" I told him and got off the bed to close the door once he left.

"I am sorry that the truth offended you," He said but I was not ready to listen to him. He had to leave.

Ben left, of course he tried to plead with me on his way out but I did not give him a chance to explain himself. I didn't agree with what he said and I wasn't going to agree with him even if he explained himself. It was a waste of time. I took deep breaths after locking the door to try and calm my racing heart. I never learn. I should not be friends with Ben because we won't get along.

He doesn't like the Alpha yet I love him so much.

If it turns out that he lied to me then this will completely break me. I had loved him wholeheartedly, I had not left a space in my heart for disappointment. I had placed him at a high pedestal in my life such that if we ever break up then my life will crumble. I was going to lose myself without him being in the picture.

If Alpha Robin was lying, then I would know that he was hiding something from me and this would hurt even more. I didn't like Lola, if it turns out that they were still friends with benefits then I was going to lose it completely.

I know that ignorance is bliss but I decided to get to the bottom of this issue. I had to rule out who was telling the truth and who was lying. If it turns out that Ben was lying then I would cut him off from my life completely. If it turns out that the Alpha was lying... Honestly, I don't know what I would do with myself after finding out the truth. I can't confront him about this, it's high time that I started finding out the truth on my own. I will play dumb but in the end, I will be able to know what is a lie and what is the truth.

After a lot of tossing and turning, I was finally able to fall asleep.

I woke up early the next morning. Recalling that I was going to be trained how to fight brought me so much excitement.

I had focused on myself and my happiness so much that I had forgotten all about my sister. I still had to avenge her death. I would never forgive that son of a bitch for ending my sister's life. He was going to go through the same pain that she made him go through until his demise.

I wore a black leggings and a top with a small jacket before heading out to the field. It was quite early but I couldn't wait any longer. I was so excited about learning how to fight, I wanted to start the training already.

It felt so good to focus on my sister all over again.I had gotten the balance. I had not totally forgotten about her. She is actually the one Inspiring me even in her absence. I was ready to go for it and to do everything in my power to get revenge.
