“Silver, how dare you say such a thing about our boss? What will you do with that Video you just recorded?- one of the guards asked her before they tossed her outside of the building and locked up the gate.

“Watch me as I post the video on my social media handle and watch it go viral.” she responded to him with a sarcastic laugh. “Mind you, I already made one before, I am just getting started.” She added.

Silver didn’t mind how psychotic she looked at the moment, all that’s in her head was tarnishing Nathan’s reputation and she didn’t mind how far she would go doing that.

“No way! You can’t do that at all to our boss. What exactly has he done to deserve such an act from you?” another guard asked her.

“This is not your fight so I’ll appreciate it if you guys can stick your nose to matters that concern you and not complex matters like this. Thank you.” she hopped into her car and drove off feeling satisfied with herself.

“Is it advisable to notify our boss about this? At least let him be aware that Silver has an ulterior motive to achieve.”- one of the guards suggested.

“I don’t think that’s the next line of action to take because Silver might not end up posting that clip at the end of the day hence making us a liar in the presence of our boss.” another responded.

They were all dispatched to their various duties before the day came to an end.

The following day everyone was at work patiently expecting Nathan to show up when their phone started buzzing with the news about Silver and her baby daddy, Nathan.

“Jeez! This is unbelievable. I can’t believe that this is true.” the receptionist exclaimed with her mouth partly open.

“I thought as much that our boss is not who he says he is. How will he be able to address us and look at our faces when he finds out about this?” one of the employees asked.

“Seriously, I don’t know how that will go down with him. He is going to be ashamed of himself for real.”

“Ssshhh.. Here he comes. He just got out of his car. Let’s pretend as if we don’t know what happened.” another employee who is on the ground floor said.

The moment Nathan stepped down from his car a troop of reporters surrounded him with a different mic pointing towards his mouth.

Nathan looking all confused didn’t know what was happening at all. He couldn’t comprehend why tons of reporters all surrounded him.

“Sir, what do you have to say about it?” one of the reporters shoved the question down his throat.

“Excuse me! What are you saying?”- he pushed the reporter aside and made his way into the firm.

The security guards blocked the reporters from entering the firm as they pushed them aside.

“Go back! Don’t force us to be violent. As you can see, the boss is not ready to speak to you all.”- the security guard closed up the entrance door and warned them intensively not to trespass.

“Oh my God, I feel so bad for him. I can’t even comprehend his state of being right now.” the receptionist whispered under her breath.

Nathan who made his way into the entrance door could see the strange faces on his employee’s faces but he couldn’t understand what was going on behind those faces.

“Good Morning Mr. Nathan.” The receptionist greeted him with a straight face.

“Morning, dear. I’ll be heading to my office right now. by noon make sure you bring coffee to me as usual.” he answered her before pressing the buttons to the elevator door.

“Okay, sir! I’ll do just that. Make sure you have a productive day.” she exchanged glances with him with a weak smile.

The door of the elevator opened and Nathan clicked on the floor where the office was located. The door closed behind him and took him straight to the top floor.

Ping! Ping!

The sound of the elevator was heard as it chimed open when it got to the top floor. Immediately the door opened he went straight to the door of his office and slowly opened.

“Shit! Mel, you scared the living hell out of me. What are you doing here by this time of the day?” he asked her with his hands holding onto his chest as he pondered so fast because of the shocking surprise of her presence.

She rolled the chair and turned towards him with a sad face without uttering a word.

“Mel, you are scaring me right now. Why are you putting on this face? Talk to me, what’s going on.”- he dropped his suitcase on the floor and knelt before grabbing her by her chin.

“Stop the act, Nathan.” She removed his hands from her face.

“What act? Make me understand what you are trying to say.”- he questioned her looking all confused.

“Nathan, open your phone and check what’s trending on the socials. Do you ever use your phone?” Demelza snapped impatiently.

Immediately, Nathan brought out his phone and opened his Instagram. The first thing that popped out on his for you page was Siver’s video laying a false accusation on him as her Fiance.

“Now you know better, Nathan. Nathan, I’m done with you and all your dramas and I’m breaking up with you right now.” she spat at and stood up from the chair.

“Babe please don’t leave me at all. I need you now, more than ever. We can settle this between us amicably.” he held onto her legs so tight.

“Get off me, Nathan. Do you want me to shout?” Demelza threatened.

“Mel, give me one more chance to make this up to you.”

“I’m sorry I can’t do this with you. I’m done and that’s final. Kindly, move on with your life.” she insisted .

“Who the hell is that?”- Nathan questioned angrily.

They were both shocked to see Hampton walk in graciously, with a wide smile on his face.
