Demelza hastily shutdown her PC and put it under her bed before going to open the door. She instantly wondered what exactly brought Nathan to her house all of a sudden, after what he did to her before she left his house.

She cleared her throat, wondering why he was at her door but she instantly felt nervous about his sudden presence. She walked steadily to the door and wriggled her hand before opening it.

Immediately the door opened, Nathan let himself in like a co-tenant.

“You must be something really.” Demelza said with irritation resting on her face.

“You, must be something. I didn’t come here to exchange pleasantries, delete the video.” Nathan said to her authoritatively , maintaining a straight face.

“What video?” Demelza asked with a little fear thinking bw was referring to the one in the flash drive.

“You’re insane, the one in the accident scene you dummy.” Nathan responded rudely.

Demelza scoffed from his commanding tone and took a step backwards. “Get out!!!” She spat, feeling annoyed already.

Nathan could read the room and he noticed how the atmosphere was getting tensed already.

He moved a step closer to her which made her take a step backwards away from him.

He noticed what she did and let out a corky smile. She swiftly grabbed her by the waist and pulled her close to himself giving her a deep kiss.

Demelza pulled away without hesitation and wiped her mouth clean of whatever saliva that might have been exchanged with the kiss.

“This_” Demelza said, using her finger to her lips. “This shit you just did. It won’t work.” She told him with a straight face.

“But_” Nathan said but he was cut short by Demelza shushing him.

“You are going to compensate me.” Demelza started.

“Compensate you?” For what?” Nathan asked, still feeling lost.

“I hate the fact that you act dumb but you’re not actually dumb. You came here thinking kissing me would get me to change my mind, or you thought I was going to let you fuck me and trash me again? Nah, I’m not stupid.” Demelza told him but he didn’t respond.

“You’ll compensate me for your driver knocking me down and then we can talk about the rest later.” Demelza instructed Nathan.

“The rest? What rest Demelza?” Nathan asked, feeling totally lost. He wished he could figure out the game Demelza was playing.

“Leave now.” Demelza said pointing to the door.

Noticing how confident and bold she was, he gave a very corky smile and turned to leave without saying a word because he knew Demelza was up to something but he couldn’t tell what it was. He wasn’t willing to risk ruining his reputation by playing a game he doesn’t know.

Immediately Nathan left, she locked the door and went back to her room.

She picked up her PC from under the bed and plugged in her USB cord to it. She sent the video to her phone and backed it up to her email.

She shut down the PC when she finished and laughed down on her bed. She used app Capcut to to edit the video on her phone and she sent the first thirty seconds of the video to Nathan.

While Nathan was driving home, his phone chimed indicating a new notification. He picked the phone to check the notification and who it was from.

For a second he lost control of the car seeing the content of what was sent to him. He raised his head when heard the voice of a woman insulting him. He realized he had almost knocked a pregnant woman down from being careless and hissed in frustration.

He looked back down to his phone screen and played the video again to be sure he saw well.

He watched how Ryan was having sex with two men. He never had the slightest idea that Ryan was gay.

With all his focus on his phone, he did not realize how his eyes widened from shock.

He raised his head to work properly since we had abruptly stopped in the middle of the road causing a traffic jam.

While parking the car, his phone chimed again and he bet it was a notification from Demelza. After parking properly, he looked at the phone and it was a text from Demelza which read- ‘There is more of this and I bet you’ll want to see’

Nathan scoffed immediately after he finished reading it. ” What audacity.” he muttered to himself.

Being very interested in what she had to show him, he replied to her text with ‘Let’s meet at the coffee shop,’

Demelza smiled happily immediately she saw his reply. She was delighted to know that she is getting to him.

He chose that coffee shop because it is a very popular one, very close to Demelza’s apartment.

Nathan turned around and drove to the coffee shop to wait for Demelza.

As he drove to the coffee shop, he liked how the street was alive with activities, and looking at the people as he passed helped him feel more relaxed about what was in his mind. At intervals, the sound of car horns annoyed him.

It felt like tiny things got to him after he watched that clip. When Nathan got to the coffee shop, he alighted and made his way inside. He pushed the door open and the scent of freshly brewed coffee embraced him. The gentle clinking of cups filled his ears as he walked to a table by the corner.

He sank Into the comfortable armchair and watched people carry on their daily activities until he got lost in his thoughts. it felt like everything seemed to stand still as he waited for Demelza.
