“What” Allison exclaimed as she looked shocked. Emerson and the rest weren’t left out. Maison himself was shocked..

“Your sister” he asked..

“She’s my younger sister” Olivia shuttered..

Emerson’s face was normal. No reaction to the sudden news. He turned around to face Maison.

“You said she’s your girlfriend” Emerson asked and he nodded..

“The rules have been set. She’s going to get punished for stressing me. You are going to get punished for lying to me Allison.. ” he uttered and turned around to leave.

“Follow me Olivia.” He said and walked away.

A knock on his head and he winced..

“What the hell has gotten into you. You just tell a lie. If Emerson finds out that Daphne isn’t your girlfriend then you should face the consequences” Allison muttered and walked away angrily.

“Did you grow feelings for her?” Serenity asked..

“I love her eyeballs” he replied… and she scoffed..

“Just because of her eyeballs you wanna get into the boss ‘ bad side. ” Serenity asked again to be sure she wasn’t hearing things.

“It’s none of your business ” he shunned and walked away.

“Everyone is just behaving abnormally.” She muttered and walked away also..

“Can you please release my younger sister’s boss” Olivia pleaded..

“How did she get in here ?” He asked.

“I don’t know my boss. I just found her at Allison’s suite this morning.. I didn’t bring her in” Olivia replied and continued..

“Daphne can’t come into this place. She doesn’t like to get involved in things that are illegal and bloody like this. She’s too fragile.. I don’t even know how she got in here” Olivia mumbled her last sentence.

“She was brought in here unconscious,” Allison said as she walked into the judicial room.

“Unconscious ??” Olivia asked. Cold shiver ran down her spine..

“Why will she be brought in here unconscious when there’s no banner displayed outside to indicate this is a hospital” Emerson savaged.

“She was knocked down by a vehicle in yesterday’s heavy downpour. She said her step mom sent her out “Laura ” Olivia and clench her fist … Eventually, the driver dropped her at the gate and one of our clan member saw her and took her inside this place despite knowing the rules.” Allison uttered and cleared her throat.

“So what do you want me to do ??” Emerson asked..

“We want you to release her ?” They said at once.

“That’s against the rules. She’s now inside this clan, she can only leave five years after. She’s going to be a member of this clan and she will take in any activity going on in this clan” Emerson declared.

It seems luck is on her side, I was planning to announce tomorrow will be the last opening for new members. Assuming she comes into this clan tomorrow, you both know the consequences aren’t nothing but death..” Emerson uttered and picked up a cigarette…

“So she will be staying here for five years. Which is against her will” Allison asked.

“Think I’m done here. She should choose between five years of staying or get a straight bullet by the neck. ” Emerson uttered and walked out of the judicial room.

“Hmmm” Olivia heaved a sigh and looked at Allison.

“It’s still better. She just has to endure it.. she can now decide her next move after five years” Allison said and took her hand…

“We’re gonna talk to her ourselves. We just have to support her” Allison uttered again. Olivia nodded.

“Boss said we shouldn’t allow no one into this place..

“She’s my girlfriend ” Maison said the men dropped their weapons instantly.

“We are sorry sir” they apologized and opened the door quickly.

Maison didn’t know how far he ran into the prison.. The place is fucking huge. It was made most especially for traitors..

“I just hope they aren’t torturing her yet” he thought. The thought alone made his heart ache..

A distant loud scream made him turn quickly..

“Could that be Daphne’s voice he thought and tried to trace it.. The scream came again. The scream was full of agony and pain.. Maison ran into the right path as per his tracing movement.

His jaw dropped immediately when he saw Daphne’s clothes.

“Enough !!” Maison screamed with pain…

“Young master” they greeted, he ignored them all and ran to Daphne’s side with a shaken hand.

“Daphne! Daphne!! Daphne!!” He called but got no response.

“Who gave you the order ?” Maison roared angrily.

“No one but it’s the rules that anybody brought in should be tortured. ” One of the men replied.

“Damnit” Maison caused and ran to unlock the cuffs on her wrist and legs..

“Unlock it” he asked with an icy voice. Without thinking twice they rushed to unlock it but a voice stopped them.

“She’s spending a week in this place according to the rules.. ” they heard. Maison couldn’t hold his anger anymore. He knew the consequences of what he’s about to do but he chose to do it.

Emerson stumbled backwards and held his cheeks.

“Are you that cold-hearted to the extent of not having any human feelings?” Maison asked angrily as he tried to strengthen his hand.

“Don’t you remember the rules of being a mafia?” Emerson chuckled.. Maison knitted his brows and laughed heretically.

“F*ck those rules. Damn those rules. Sincerely, I will rather choose Hudson over you. You are so cold hearted. Can’t you behave like a human for a day at least.. I can’t believe you are still that cool brother of mine…

Why are you like this ??. Who made you this way ?? ” Maison asked as tears won’t stop streaming down his cheeks.

“It hurts to see people I love to act like this. You weren’t like this when Dad was still alive. You changed the rules and everything the old man set. My belief is that, one day someone will change those hearts of yours. Just hope it won’t be too late.” Maison uttered and carried Daphne in a bridal style and walked out his sight.

Maison words got him. No one has ever said something so deep to him. Maison happened to be the first. He touched his cheeks and smiled.

“His punch seems painful” he thought and walked out.
