CHAPTER 21- I DON'T PLAY FAIR ANYWAYS
CHAPTER 21- I DON'T PLAY FAIR ANYWAYS
Little Bee’s eyes widened, “For real?” Jack was blowing up with rage, he walked up to Ryan and
whispered, “This is a really bad idea... We will die of exhaustion by the team we reach Orleans.” Ryan
actively ignored him, turning the other side he promised, “I will be by your side the morning of day after
tomorrow.”
The girl got hysterical, “Oh, Prince Charming you are the best! I will be waiting for you.” A grunt was
dragged before the was hung up; Jack charged at him, “You are crazy, what were you thinking when
you made that promise?”
Ryan’s face turned cold as he looked up, “Do I need to ask you before doing anything?” Jack
immediately quietened down, he was a chameleon of a man- capable of switching his temperament
within the blink of an eye. “I didn’t mean that...” Jack backed off as he can never go against this
devious man and continued, “But the schedule is already planned.”
Ryan went back to his seat and started flying his fingers over the keyboard, “Have you heard the word
prepone?” Jack at last gave up and nodded his head, “I will make the arrangements. Man, I deserve a
pay raise!”
“Negative payment for you this month.”
“This isn’t fair...”
“Cool, I don’t play fair anyways.”
With cheeks blushing with anger the little assistant walked out of the door to arrange the schedule.
Ryan was left alone in the room; even though he was working his mind was straying elsewhere. She
was such a kid who got happy over every single thing and never understood anything complicated. Her
world was small and filled with happy thoughts; she had no knowledge about pretending, manipulating
or holding grudges. Just a simple soul with simple thoughts, how can he not want to be good to her.
Seeing her smile made him happy; it was after she came he was feeling good after a really long time.
He wanted to do the same to her... Even if it meant tormenting himself.
A rare smile appeared on his face as her pouty little face brimming with sunshine came before his
eyes.
Back at home Bee was so happy that she ran around mindlessly in the whole house. The maids were
amused; this was the first time they had ever seen the cold Young Master being so good to a girl. He
hated woman, Jule was one of the strongest example for his hatred for woman.
They had seen how hard she tried to crawl up on his bed; she even had the heart to show up in
revealing dress but not only did Ryan ignore her actively he even warned her not to show up wearing
s*its. The doctor was a beauty and was so much into him yet he kept on giving her a cold shoulder. All
this passive response made them doubt his sexuality until this little girl appeared.

support. Having her around was really fun; she would give every single staff flowers every morning,
praise them with all her heart and would even play with them. The house was livelier with her presence;
even though the Boss’s coldness was yet to melt they could see the difference of black and white- how
he treated others and he treated this bubbly personality.
The house had four working staffs- Stella and Brook were the oldest staffs while Lily and Penny were
newly appointed just for her. They too were just of 18; Ryan specially appointed them so that she don’t
feel lonely and would be comfortable about having people of her age group around.
Bee ate dinner and went to sleep early; she was really happy before going to sleep and was soon
visited by a dream- a dream featuring him.
It played out in her point of view, it seemed as if she was running to somewhere; when she finally
stopped she saw a young man with fine features reading a novel sitting on a bench. It was him, Prince
Charming, who seemed to be in his late teens. The view stopped there before shifting into that of
dandelions floating in the sky. The visions were blurry and shifted in light speed. Bee furrowed her
eyebrows in sleep shifting uncomfortably before jolting up.
Catching up her breathe she looked around; sweat beads covered her pale forehead and her body
shivered visibly. She took the glass of water before gulping down the content; her racing heart was
finally calmed. Snuggling into her blanket she went back to sleep again but to no avail, slumber
seemed out of reach now.
She processed back her mind and her thoughts struck at the part where she saw Ryan on the rock; he
looked youthful and charming. Even though he had a calm aura and a poker face he still looked
enchanting. Bee wasn’t sleepy and thus though of an idea.
She would sketch out his image and gift it to him when he come back. Little Bee had a gift of drawing
and was capable of making some really beautiful portraits. Back in club when she would wake up mid
night she would sketch down her visions; there was a whole sketch book dedicated to sketches of
Ryan which was still hidden in her room under her bed.
Bee yanked her blanket and stepped down the bed; she was determined to make the sketch but just
realized that she had nothing for the work- neither paper or pencil or other stationary to do make it.
“Ohh... What will Little Bee do now?” She said to herself. She ran up to the shelves to discover nothing
helpful. Straying her mind a bit she finally remembered something, back then when he went to Ryan’s
study she did see some papers and pencil. She was sure that she would be able to help herself if she
manages to get in there.
“Oh, Bee... You are so smart!” she held her head high as she ran out of the door.
