CHAPTER 15- COULD IT BE THE GIRL HE LOVES
She smiled at him, it was just too easy to move her heart.
When she was in the club she used to believe the owner was her father, whenever he came to the club
she would run up to him addressing him as dad and would nag him to take her back to home. The man
first brushed her off but when she got troublesome he shunned her away with scoldings. Bee was hurt
thinking that she had no parents; did they lost her or didn't want her at all.
She did use to talk to everyone and be merry with them but deep down she couldn't escape from the
fact that she was nothing more than a lonely soul. She had no one to tell her a bed time story, kiss her Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.
cheeks or pat her head... There was nowhere where she really belonged.
Now, when this man whom she had met two days before was showing something towards her.
Providing her with everything and even making her stay with him; Bee for the first time felt as if she too
meant something to someone.
The pain of him treating her poorly was lost somewhere amidst this feeling which had no word to be
explained. She gulped down her bite and wanted to say something but was unable to find the right
word. "Mr. Neguyen, you can rest assured. I won't ever leave!"
"Mmm" the man grunted before standing up, looking at her he continued, "Sleep, it's late."
The girl beamed, "Good night, Mr. Neguyen!" The man's poker features softened as he replied, "Good
night, Bee." After he left the maid followed up to clean the room for her; after changing into the pajamas
the girl too went to sleep.
Bee was yet to get accustomed to this alien place and thus was twisting and turning all night on the
warm bed. Staring at the ceiling she was thinking about her interaction with Ryan. He had an ever
changing temperament, one that would change within the snap of a finger. She thought back of the
moment when he scolded her in the room; seemed like he was not willing to believe on her. It was not
his fault though, no one believed on her.
While her thoughts were floating around it his words started to echo in her ears. Her eyebrows
furrowed when she remembered something he said- you can never be her.
Her? Who was this her he was talking about? Could it be the girl he love? She has been staying here
for more than two days now and she had not yet seen any suspicious personality. Could be that they
are already split and Prince Charming was still in love with her. Oh, poor him!
"No... No no no no no!" She shook her head violently to shoo her crazy thoughts away; she knew she
was over thinking herself. Forcing her eyes shut the girl slipped into her world of fantasies.
....
The next day she was summoned to have breakfast with Ryan; she had no idea why but she stayed in
her wardrobe to dress up in the best outfit possible. Settling on caramel slit knee length skirt and a
butter colored over sized sweat shirt with black and brown parallel stripes, her hairs tied into a high
pony the girl ran down the floors to find Ryan already seated, eating his breakfast.
Little Bee was a bit dissapointed to see that he bothered not to wait for her; it was her fault.. She
shouldn't have wasted her time in dressing up; the man who she dressed up for wasn't even a slight bit
interested in waiting for her.
Her mood to eat was dampened just like that as she sat on the last end of the table upset; she would
sneak a peek of that man from the corner of her eyes every now and then just to find him munching on
his food or talking on his phone. Unnoticed she angrily tore her toast and started chomping it down.
Jack, who came back from the study with his tablet, looked at the little human eating alone at the
farthest chair. "Why are you there?" He asked grabbing both Bee's and Ryan's attention; the two
exchanged glances for a brief moment before she averted her eyes and looked at Jack, smiling she
greeted him. The man greeted back and asked her the same question again to which the girl replied,
"It's the same sitting anywhere, Mr. Jack!"
"Why, you can sit and eat with Ryan!"
"Oh, that's more lonelier..."
"Haha, I get your point! He is emotionless!" Jack couldn't hold himself back from commenting. He
continued, "The dress fits you perfectly, doesn't it?"
Bee was flattered, finally somebody, even though the wrong person, but somebody noticed her; she
grinned merrily before saying, "Thank you, Mr. Jack."
Amidst the sound of the two chattering and laughter the sound of the breaking of knuckles were heard
making them shut up at once. Jack looked down at Ryan who was staring down at his plate, grimly
cracking on his knuckles. Even though his face was not visible for him Jack could still imagine the
horrifying expression of anger on the devil's face. He eye signaled at Bee to look at the man's
expression.
Ryan raised his glass to his mouth taking small sips of the water. Bee stared at him helping himself but
without any prior warning he darted an icy cold stare at her. Bee took off her eyes and looked down at
her plate; Jack excused himself of work and ran away from the situation.Visible anger was dancing in
his hazel eyes, the man kept the glass aside and walked away.
Bee sat there gulping to herself; she was a dead meat today. She had no idea why but she was sure
that Prince Charming was mad and this was because of her. She didn't put efforts on her peanut brain
and hurriedly finished her breakfast. She would run upstairs and lock the door and would only come out
once the coast was clear. Yes! That would be perfect.
She pushed down the toast and salads down her throat and was about to spirit up to her room when a
maid came to inform her that Master Ryan was looking for her and she was needed urgently.
Kneading her hands she nervously walked up to the garden where he was waiting for her.
Back in the yard Ryan pulled out his gun and punctured down the aims that were kept in there; his face
had it's usual solemn mask but there were splashes of anger in them. Bee walked in and witnessed
him practicing his aim; now, the gun-sound no more haunted her as she was long used to them.
Walking up to him she called out for him, "Mr. Neguyen, you were looking for me?"
