Devoted To You

Chapter 18 finally back

The excitement in his heart almost made him walk over, but fear stopped him again, what if that person is not Susan?

He hesitated for the first time, watching the person in front of him slowly walk away before he finally made his move, only before he reached her, someone suddenly came up next to him and walked straight towards her.

Chandler stopped where he was and watched the man in the suit stand beside her, the two of them smiling and talking.

The woman never looked back, examining the wine in her hands, and asking the man, “Which bottle do you think is better?”

“Either.” The man gave a casual glance, not caring about this.

Chandler stood behind them as if a spectator watching them discuss the taste of this wine.

After the discussion, they eventually did not choose either one of them, and the two left together.

From the beginning to the end, they did not see Chandler, who was hiding and eavesdropping, and the two laughed and joked as they pushed the shopping cart onward.

Chandler followed behind them, watching them pass from shelf to shelf, laughing as the two talked about something unknown.

If she were still there, they would be like this now. Only he had personally sent her to be cremated, how could that be, how could she be here?

Chandler lost his smile and took one last look, their backs had been obscured by the crowd. Their physical resemblance to the old ones, drew him like a madman to take a glance at their proper faces.

Seeing them leave, Chandler reacted that he had stayed long enough and was about to return to his place when he suddenly walked towards that wine cabinet.Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.

He took the two bottles of wine she had just compared and looked at them, then chose one of them and took it over.

When paying the bill and seeing them in the front, Chandler picked up the wine in the cart basket to the side and looked at it carefully.

Susan does not like to drink, and he did not see her drink. And now, she is also more unlikely to take the red wine to compare.

Maybe she does like to drink?

Chandler came up with such a thought.

But then denied by himself.

Looking at the large supermarket, his was still thinking about the woman just now. It was a pity he didn’t see the face.

She has been turned into ashes, and how will come to life. He unconsciously shook his head, a bitter smile swept across his face.

Raised his head, his eyes still unconsciously looking around, expecting to see that person again.

But, people are coming and going, and where will they be?

Chandler withdrew his gaze and pushed his car through the shelves.

He watched so many things go into the car, but his heart was still empty.

Between coming and going, he has put a lot of snacks in the car basket. The people passing around, looking at those piles of snacks like a small mountain cannot help but envy him.

Just as if did not see it, he continued to push the car forward.

He took almost everything before going to the checkout. There was a long line in front of him, only he stood idly, following the crowd little by little to squeeze in.

Susan is not here, these things can only be taken back and put away. If they were all here, the unborn child would be above his knees in height.

He is really a bastard. He couldn’t help but shake his head, another burst of regret came to his mind.

When it was his turn, he carelessly brought everything up and prepared the card and handed it over directly after the bill was reported.

And then left the place with a large pile of snacks.

People continued to line up, and the woman in white pushed a shopping cart over.

“It’s really troublesome for you to accompany me to buy so many things.” She smiled softly, looking at the basket of things, a little embarrassed.

The man took a look and didn’t say anything. The woman looked through the shopping cart and searched for a long time but couldn’t find that thing.

The man was a little curious, “What’s wrong?”

“Just a small snack, I don’t think I have it.” She whispered as she searched, there was so much stuff that the shopping cart was almost turned over and she couldn’t find it.

“Go get it again, there’s no hurry now.”

The woman shook her head, “Forget it, it’s getting late, let’s settle first and get it later.”

He nodded, and the two went to the checkout together.

When they came out, the two were holding a large pile of stuff. The woman smiled apologetically, “Sorry for dragging you over as a hard worker.”

“It’s okay.” He still had a little expression as usual, but she was used to it and knew this man had a cold face and a warm heart.

The man drove the car over and then helped her put her things in the trunk. The things on hand have been placed, he also relaxed a lot.

She looked back at the big supermarket behind her, her face raised a smile, her eyebrows and look were the same as the Susan who was sent to the incinerator by Chandler.

“Finally, I’m back.” She sighed softly, the longing in her eyes flickered away, and finally turned into a smile as she got into the black car.
