Despicable Roommate

Twilight

I spent my Sunday Evening re watching Twilight as I waited for Alec who had gone to spend the day with his best friends. Edward Cullen will forever remain one of the hottest vampires in movie history for me. Throughout the whole movie, my whole attention was focused on his hot lean body, cute face and alluring voice. The other characters didn’t matter much, all I wanted to see was Edward.

I was glad to have some disruption because I was getting impatient with Alec. He had been gone the whole day, making me wonder what he was still doing with his friends. It was already ten pm.

I have to admit that I was kind of jealous. My jealousy was unrealistic and ridiculous because those friends of his had known him for a long time. It was like somebody complaining about me spending too much time with Kari.

All my friends were gone except Alec. I realized that night that I was supposed to mend all my broken friendships or I would end up alone. I couldn’t do without friends and it was so hard for me to make new friends.

I was so angry at Alec for leaving me alone and keeping me waiting. I wanted to go and sleep but decided to go stand at the balcony for some fresh air and see if there were signs of Alec coming back. Honestly, I was probably just bored and needed him to destruct me from my horrible life.

I put on a jacket and stepped out into the balcony. Our balcony was at the front so you could clearly see the parking yard and the gate.

After standing there for about two minutes, I saw something that broke my already broken heart. I don’t even know how a broken heart can be broken but that’s what I think happened to me.

I couldn’t believe it.

Ross was in the parking yard walking towards his car. With a girl! They were holding hands and when they got to the car, he opened her door and she gave him a short kiss on the lips before getting in. I felt like I’d been stabbed. Ross? I was never going to be friends with him again. NEVER!

I watched him drive away as tears welled up in my eyes. There was a lump in my throat increasing my need to cry. Why did he flirt with me if he didn’t want me? I had been so clueless.

On the other hand, I realized it was reasonable that he had moved on. I had kissed him and told me I had no idea why I did it. Clearly, he thought I regretted it and that was why he walked out of the room so fast. Looking at it that way made me feel quite bad for him. I knew I would be furious if someone did something like that to me. Anyway, I was not in love with Ross so it did not hurt so much.

Alec’s POV

I was at Silver and Mark’s apartment. I needed my boy company for the weekend since the week was going to be a busy one.

Lynn and I had become friends at last. I was happy but not really excited about it. It limited my freedom to have my girls in whenever I felt like. She was now my friend and I had to care about how she felt. This was bad, real bad. What had I gotten myself into?

“Are you listening?” Silver shouted causing me to snap out of my thoughts.

“Yeah?”

“I was talking about Carina, the girl next door.”

“What about her?”

“Man, she’s damn hot,” Mark said. “But she takes no shit from anyone.”

“Just talking about her gives me a hard on,” Silver added, making me chuckle.

If they were saying that, then the girl was really hot because they had a great taste.

“She must be really gorgeous,” I commented feeling the urge to see her.

“She is also too arrogant and proud.”

“Doesn’t talk to guys here and she has a boyfriend.”

“It doesn’t matter,” I said.

“Sometimes, she doesn’t respond when I greet her.”

“When it comes to me, no girl is different,” I said with confidence. “Do you think she is in her room?”

“Just heard her door open,” Mark said. “I think she just got back. Why are you asking?”

“I want her,” I really needed a girl. It’d been many days since I last had sex and this girl sounded appealing. And after what Lynn had put me through while watching her romantic soap opera, I needed to get laid.

“What?” Silver exclaimed and Mark looked surprised.

“You heard me,” I smiled. “I always get what I want.”

“Not this time, bro.” Mark said as he walked to his bedroom.

“I’m out,” I got up and hurried out.

“Good luck, bro.” Silver laughed. I was going to win anyway so I didn’t mind.

I took a deep breath before knocking the door. I hoped my friends had not lied to me about her looks. If she was ugly, I would kill them both. I really needed a girl at the moment.

The door opened and there she stood. In all her glory. She was wearing shorts which made her legs look so long and a tank top. Her hair barely reached her shoulders but looked adorable because it was dark brown. She was pretty, so much more than Lynn.

“H-hey” She looked either surprised or just amazed at my good looks.

“Hi, can I come in?”Content © NôvelDrama.Org.

“No,” She said in matter of fact tone.

“Why not?” I checked her out.

“I don’t know you,” She said and attempted to close her door but of course I had taken care of that. She couldn’t crush my foot.

“Go away!” She told me but I just smiled knowing that my smile could change a lot of things in her.

“You know you want me to stay.”

“What makes you think so?”

“The way you’re looking at me,” I suggested.

“What?” she scoffed. “I want nothing to do with you. I have a boyfriend, if you haven’t heard.”

“I don’t care if you have ten boyfriends,” I said and she stepped aside, letting me in.

I sat on the couch and she just looked at me after locking the door. She looked quite uncomfortable.

A few minutes later, I was lying next to her in her own bed. Her arm was wrapped around me and I lay there, staring at the ceiling, thinking of how it’d been so easy to make her accept me.

I just hoped that her boyfriend wouldn’t find out. Not that I cared but I just didn’t want her to be dumped. I didn’t want her to cling to me. Besides, she needed to be happy, after all she loved him.

I didn’t want her to fall for me.
