James arrived at an apartment with Skye. The apartment looked spacious and grand. As they entered, there was a foyer with dark gray cabinets holding sculptures of which Skye was unfamiliar, but they seemed expensive. Moving forward, they entered a spacious living room with off-white sofas, bright yellow coffee tables, and various plants on the balcony, giving the place a lively atmosphere. The apartment was filled with vibrant colors, even the clocks on the wall were a bright yellow. At that moment, Skye immediately dismissed her last thought that she was being held captive. This apartment was full of life; if someone truly wanted to imprison her, they wouldn’t have chosen this place.

Soon the door opened again, and Skye saw Billy. The couple embraced each other as soon as they met.

“Billy, I thought I was going to die there; I thought I’d never see you again,” Skye said.
