“Arsene said Jessica has been found!?”Mrs. Anna asked when Lexi took the time to have dinner together with his parents.

“Yups, but Jessica doesn’t want to go home this week. She asked for one week to go home, ” Lexi said.

“You didn’t force her to go home?” Mrs. Anna stopped chewing. It was not like Lexi. He never gave up, but this time he did.

Lexi shook his head slowly.

“Jessica, what are you doing?” Lexi thought.

“Who, Jessica? Does Mr. Lexi miss Miss. Jessica?” Arsene asked.

“No, I was just wondering what she was doing!” Lexi turned his eyes to the laptop screen pretending to be busy checking his email.

“Jessica is at work. Do I need to come to the cafe to make sure?”Arsene bid.

“Don’t you have to finish checking the report,” he denied. He didn’t want Arsene to be aware of himself missing Jessica.

“Yes, sir”” Arsene replied obediently, he focused on opening the next few folders.

Tired of thinking about Jessica all the time, Lexi got up from his seat. He grabbed the car keys on Arsene’s desk.

“Master, where is Lexi going?” Arsene asked as he saw his watch was still eleven o’clock, lunchtime was still an hour away.

“I need to get some fresh air!”

Only one place was Lexi’s destination at the moment, ADC cafe, where Jessica works.

“If Mr. Lexi is hungry, it’s better to have lunch first,” Arsene suggested. Maybe it was because the boss had been acting strangely ever since.

Hearing the word eat, Lexi had an idea to meet Jessica.

“What? You said you wanted to eat at the cafe where Jessica works! All right, let’s get over there!” he asked him. He didn’t want to admit that he wanted to see Jessica to ease his longing. One more week, even one day felt like a year.

“Yes sir,” Arsene replied. This time it was clear that Lexi was looking forward to meeting his wife.

After twenty minutes, they arrived at the cafe. Arsene stopped his car in the parking area. He went down first and opened the door for Lexi.

The two men, walking side by side, entered and sat in one of the guest seats. The employees who recognized Lexi told Jessica to greet them to offer lunch while bringing the menu book to the men.

Jessica initially refused. However, Mr. Darno’s eyes that watched her from a distance made her obey.

“Please order,” Jessica offered, giving the menu book.

Arsene immediately took it, while Lexi just kept quiet.

“Do you still want to be here, Miss Jessica? It is better that you go home soon, or I’ll have to drive for thirty minutes just for lunch!” Arsene complained. He looked at Jessica and Lexi in turn.

“Why didn’t Mr. Lexi keep his promise?” Jessica was upset. Yesterday, Lexi had already promised not to see her for a week, but today her husband has already appeared before her again.

“I’m out of touch with Beryl, my phone is gone and I don’t have any phone for communication. Stop accusing me and making my life difficult, Sir.” Jessica’s face looked pitiful.

“I’m not sure you’re being honest!” Lexi urged.

“Sir, I’m not lying! I don’t have a phone, the only thing I have right now is myself!” Jessica said firmly.

“Prove that you’re not lying Jessica!” Lexi kept cornering his woman. It was so nice to be so close to Jessica.

Jessica looked down, thinking for a moment. She was hoping to get an excuse that it made loose from Lexi’s accusations.

“Here I will help you prove it!”

Lexi grabbed Jessica’s hand, then led her out of the cafe to his car.

Lexi opened the back door of the car. He gently pushed Jessica in, then sat down.

Lexi moved to Jessica’s side, and didn’t forget to close the door.

The elevator stopped on the top floor where Lexi’s office is located.

They walked side by side and Jessica’s hand was still in Lexi’s.

The man opened the door of his office. He let Jessica in with him.

“This is my office. So I’m not stalking you! Got it?” Lexi told.

“Yes, sir, I understand!”Jessica had to accept defeat.

Lexi felt victorious, he smiled slyly. It was a good idea to get rid of Jessica.

“Watch out, there are cockroaches!”Lexi shouted, knowing that Jessica had a phobia of insects.

“Aakkk,” she shouted, grabbing Lexi’s arm.

“Look, Jessica! You didn’t just come to my place of work! But you dare to hug me!” Lexi said with a seductive grin.

“No,” Jessica said, taking a step back.

Lexi walked forward cornering Jessica, forcing her to keep walking backwards.
