I’ll never let you go

Lexi arrives at the ICU. He immediately went to see the nurse on duty tonight.

“Where was the hit-and-run victim?” Lexi asked. He was really worried if what Arsene informed him was true.

“The victim is still in the treatment of doctors, there is a wound on her head,” the nurse said.

“Can I see it?” Lexi asked.

“Sure, let me take you.” The nurse got up from her seat and escorted Lexi to the far end of the room.

The man watched from afar. He gave attention to the doctor who was suturing the wound on the patient’s forehead. Although he was hesitant, Lexi walked over.

“Excuse me, doctor?”

Lexi was sitting in her chair. He looked out the window. Jessica disappeared one week ago. His wife was not at Chelsea’s House neither in Singapore, Lexi has told people to check it out at Beryl’s residence in Singapore.

“Where do you think Jessica went?” Lexi asked Arsene who was still busy checking the financial statements of the company branch.

“We will definitely find her, Sir, moreover I have added some people to find her immediately!” Arsene replied confidently.

“This is not only for me, but also for my parents! I’ve been really dizzy for a week now every night my mom keeps asking where Jessica is. Even so with Mrs. Grace, never absent to send me a message to find out where Jessica is!” Lexi said obviously. He was also worried about his wife’s whereabouts.

The Boss chose to pretend not to hear. He left his office first. The man was still silent until they arrived at the parker area in the basement.

Arsene walked over first and opened the door for Lexi. Then, he got behind the wheel and began to drive his four-wheeled vehicle through the streets of the city to the address given by Ronald.

“Didn’t anyone know you were here?”Jessica asked She was sitting next to Chelsea.

“Nope, just calm down, we are safe!” the corners of her lips form a smile. “I was very careful, even though during this one week some of Mr. Lexi’s servants came to the house and my dad in the office was also questioned by his secretary, but I’m sure, no one knows your whereabouts!” Chelsea answered convincingly.

Chelsea gently wiped Jessica’s tears. She rarely ever saw Jessica cry. Although Jessica hasn’t said it yet, Chelsea was sure that Beryl took Chelsea home first because of something! Not just because of his selfishness.

After a whole minute, Jessica managed to pull herself together to stop her crying. “I’ll tell you,” she said with a wistful look.

Chelsea held Jessica’s hand. The look on her friend’s face showed sadness. She had never seen Jessica so sad. Even the smile painted on her lips implied the pain she felt.

“I saw Cassandra come out of Mr. Lexi’s room, early in the morning! They spent the night together!”Jessica was getting deeper. What a pain she felt, feeling so stupid! Lexi was healed. What about Jessica? She thought that she was being trapped in feelings and her terrible marriage. Pitiful!

Chelsea grabbed Jessica in an embrace. Fortunately, the atmosphere of the cafe was still quiet because there was no time for people to have lunch.

From a distance two pairs of eyes were watching Chelsea and Jessica from earlier. The two of them were Lexi and Arsene.

“Who owns the cafe?” Lexi asked .

Arsene took out his tablet, then began to find out about ADC cafe.

“Buy the coffee!” Lexi ordered and started planning something to bring Jessica home.
