Damian’s Obsession

“I should use you as a scape goat to anyone that tries to cross me. Be it friend or foe. They always die miserably.” Damian said as he finally released the last bullet on his forehead.

The door was suddenly barged open, revealing Mark who had a blood splattered on his face and body.

“Finally..” He said as he faced Damian.

“I finally get to meet the one person I have been waiting for, for three years now. Did you miss me? Because I know I did.” Mark said with a smirk playing on his lips.

“You bet. I have been dreaming about thus day since I found out you were still alive. I want to take in the joy and satisfaction I would get by ending you myself.” Damian said.

“I see. That is only if you would be able to kill me yourself.” Mark said.

“Why? You think I’m still like the same person I was three years ago?? You think I wouldn’t hesitate to kill you just because you were my friend??” Damian asked as he brought out a pistol from his back pocket and pointed it at Mark.

This action made Mark laugh out in amusement.

“What is so funny?? You think I can’t kill you??” Damian asked angrily.

“Oh, quite the contrary. I know you can considering the fact that you have two of us down already.” Mark answered as he turned his attention to the lifeless body of both Grey and Ana.

“You couldn’t even at least show them mercy. She was once the love of your life and he, your puppet.” Mark said as he released a dark cackle.

“Shut up. You know nothing about my past relations.” Damian said.

“Oh…. But I do. I used to be your friend. A really close one at that. You always confided everything that was bothering you to me. Like how being a Mafia Don made you sick and always drained you. “By taking my spot and ending my life??” Damian asked angrily.

“Bingo. I wanted to take your spot as the Mafia Don but killing was never part of the plan at first.” Mark answered.

“You do know that to take my spot, you have to kill me first.” Damian said.

“Yes. That is why I changed my plan. I had help from your love right here.” He pointed at Ana.

“In fact, she approached me herself. She introduced me to a deal that was too hard to resist. She proposed to kill you and take your spot. At first, I wondered why she would approach me when she already had you since getting married to you would still make her get what she always wanted. Then I figured it out.” He paused for a moment to see if Damian was still listening to him.

“What nonsense did you find out then??” Damian asked, still not taking his eyes off Mark.

“I figured out she never loved you. I was the only one in her heart. She only used you to get close to me because you wooed her first then. And I took advantage of her love for me and got two gifts at the same time. Her body and your wealth.” Mark said.

“Why are you telling me this?? Do you really think that I would still be heartbroken by hearing about both your betrayal??” Damian mocked.

“No. I know you wouldn’t. you didn’t even blink twice when you killed her.” Mark answered.

“What’s with the useless explanation then??” Damian asked angrily.

“To stall you.” Mark answered with a smirk.

“What nonsense are you tal…..” “ARGHHHHH!!!!!” His words where cut short when he suddenly heard Selina screams followed by series of gunshots.

“Selina!!!” Damian called in panic and wanted to run to where she was but two hefty men suddenly lounged at him and held him down.

“Selina..’ Damian called out as he struggled to get out of their hold.

Mark lounged at him and punched and kicked him in the stomach. He collapsed on the floor as blood oozed out of his mouth.

“I can’t believe I managed to take down the powerful Damian Black and it is all thanks to a woman. Don’t worry. She will be here soon. I promise to be gentle, considering she is your woman.” Mark said as he laughed out.

The boys around him joined him the laughter.

“If anything happens to her, I’ll make you pay with your life.” Damian said croaked out as he struggled to get up.

Mark took that chance and kicked him harder on his face.

“That only makes me want to hurt her the more.” Mark answered as he chuckled.

“Now the party has officially begun.” He muttered happily as he watched Damian squirm in pain on the floor.

He finally pulled away from the kiss and pushed me towards Felix.

“Go… now!!” He said.

Felix nodded his head and pulled me with him as we left. I looked back and saw him smile at me and I returned it.

I kept on looking back repeatedly as Felix dragged me with him. I stopped looking when he was finally out of sight.

I walked faster as I tried to keep up with Felix’s pace. We finally got to a door that led to the basement.

Felix opened it and we walked down. After a while, we stopped in front of an even bigger door.

“Stay here while I go call the boys in.” Felix said.

“Okay.” I said as I stood behind the door.

Felix nodded his head before he opened the door and walked out before locking it back. Through a small hole on the door, I was able to peep through.

My eyes widened in shock when I saw series of dead bodies sprawled on the floor. It made me almost puke out. Don’t tell me all the boys are dead.

That means Felix is in danger too.

I opened the door and was about to warn him too when someone suddenly covered my mouth from my back so my words where muffled.

My eyes widened in fear. Who was it?? Out of fear, I bit the person’s hands and he let me go immediately.

“You crazy bitch.” The man cussed out as he held his hand painfully.

I was about to make a run for it when he suddenly gripped my hair tightly which made me scream out in pain, then I head gunshots and painful screams outside.

Wait… is that Felix. Don’t tell me he was shot.

I wanted to go check on him but the hefty man wouldn’t let me go. He held me by my hair as he dragged me out of the basement back to the living room where Damian was.

“I saw this one trying to escape boss.” The hefty man said as he pushed me on the floor.

“Easy there. You can’t harm the lady yet.” The ‘boss’ answered.

“Selina.” I heard and looked over to see Damian sprawled on the floor.

His face and body was filled with blood. He looked like he had been attacked.

“Damian!!” I called out in fear and was about to run towards him when someone suddenly grabbed me.

“Going somewhere??” My teary eyes widened when I saw those familiar blue eyes staring down at me. No way….
