Chapter 177
Chapter 177
“It has nothing to do with Terry!” Grace immediately replied. Then, she paused for a moment and
realized that she had made a mistake. Grace looked grim as she shut her mouth.
“So you dragged me because of Terry?” Jessica asked, “Do you like Terry?”
Grace froze for a moment. “Yes, I like him. So what? I did visit him before, but I told him that it didn’t
matter if he refused to go on a date with me. I just need him to help me by being my rumored boyfriend.
It’s all your fault. I lost my job because he refused to do it! He said you never like a playboy!”.
Grace thought of it and got a horrible expression on her face. “When he mentioned you, he looked so
gentle! Theard many times that he was pursuing you in the past few months, but you are not good
enough for him.”
Jessica looked at her. When Grace finished, Jessica raised her eyebrows and said, “So Miss Sandoval,
thank you for doing me a favor.”
Jessica chuckled and lowered her head. “I didn’t know that Mr. Davison was so that into me.”
Grace seemed to come to her senses as she looked at Jessica.
The furious look on Grace’s face slowly faded. Grace looked at Jessica arrogantly. “Miss Hall, you are
lucky this time. But I suggest you forget about it and just move on. The Hall Group is very powerful
now, but believe me, the Sandoval Group will catch up soon.”
“Are you sure that the Sandoval Group will catch up soon?” Jessica put on a mysterious smile and
gave an order, “Miss Sandoval, it seems that you don’t regret what you did. In that case, Wendy, you
could see Miss Sandoval out now.”
Wendy nodded and walked by Grace at once.
Grace gave them a dirty look and left arrogantly, holding her handbag in her hands.
The bodyguards guarding the door also stood on both sides peacefully. They didn’t stop Grace.
“Jess, are you really going to let her go so easily? She deserves more!” Hannah was extremely
unhappy about Grace’s attitude.
She had held back her words for a long time. After Grace left, she immediately asked Jessica,
“Why the rush? Jess knows ‘an eye for an eye’ very well.” Mona calmly took a sip of her cocktail.
Jessica gave Mona a look of approval. Then Jessica turned to Wendy and said, “I plan to acquire a
company. How many days will it take?”
“It depends on the scale of that company.” Wendy replied.
“It is the Sandoval Group.”
Wendy considered for a moment and replied, “It will take about two days. Currently, the largest
shareholder of the Sandoval Group is the Davison Group, which takes up 40% of the shares, We
currently hold only 20% of their shares. I can arrange the purchase plan. As long as our shares exceed
those held by the Davison Group, we can become the largest shareholder.”
Jessica nodded when she heard it. It was her purpose.
Jessica agreed with Wendy and said with satisfaction, “Do it as soon as possible.”
“Yes, Miss Hall.” With that, Wendy simply got up and left the box.
Seeing that the door was closed, Jessica turned to look at Hannah. Jessica smiled and said, “Now are
you still worrying about it?”
“That’s great, Jess. I’m looking forward to the day you become the new major shareholder of Sandoval
Group. Grace will go crazy at that time!” Hannah nodded happily because she was looking forward to it.
“Alright, it’s getting late. I’ll go home now.” Jessica smiled and stood up to leave.
Hannah quickly stood up and asked, “Why are you going back now? It’s still early. Stay here, and let’s
have some fun!” Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.
“I wish I had as much free time as you. I have to go to work tomorrow.” Jessica patted Hannah on the
shoulder and then bid Mona goodbye by nodding her head.
Seeing that Jessica could still joke with her, Hannah understood that Jessica was in a good mood.
Hannah was relieved.
Jessica left Cloud Top and drove home.
Jessica had just walked out of the elevator when she saw Terry standing at her door.
Jessica stiffened for a second before she came back to her senses.
She put her phone back in her handbag and smiled as she walked up to Terry. “Mr. Davison.”
She was smiling, but the smile did not look sincere at all. Her voice was a little hoarse, too.
Terry knew something was wrong. He stopped smiling and felt Jessica’s smell of alcohol. “Did you
drink?”
“Just one glass.” Jessica nodded, not denying it.
