Chapter 43

This was your first club anyway.” Vixen replied.

“I’m too old to prospect.” Crash begun.

“You wouldn’t have to. They are the same charter, you’d just transfer.” Vixen explained.

“Why can’t you move in with me?” Crash asked.

“I’ve been running for a while. I miss my son. My first grandchild is about to be born. I don’t want to miss a minute of it. I want to be here for them and his or her childhood.” Vixen explained.

“Anthony, don’t make me choose between my son and grandson, or you. You know who I’d have to choose.” Vixen pleaded.

“Impossible situations. Story of my life.” Crash sighed.

JAX AND RAINE

“I feel like a beached whale!! Raine complained.

“You look gorgeous! That’s our baby in there. Now are you ready for my big surprise?” Jax asked.

“You know I am.” Raine replied.

They got in Jax’s truck.

“Why are we taking your truck? My Buick is much nicer and easier for me to get in.” Raine muttered.

“I’m just taking advantage of the last few days we have and can be in my truck.” Jax explained.

They drove about fifteen minutes down the road and pulled into a nice large house. It’s mostly white with a medium blueish grey trim and roof. It has an attached garage. Jax pushed a button on a remote and it opened, and he drove into the garage.

“I was going to ask who we are visiting, but seeing as how you have a remote?” Raine asked confused.

“It’s ours. I bought us a home for our family.” Jax grinned.

“Oh my God! Are you kidding?” Raine hollered excitedly.

“No baby. There was no way I was letting you bring our baby home to the clubhouse! It ain’t no place for a child. It took me a while, and I was worried it wouldn’t be ours in time. But everything finally cleared, and it’s ours!” Jax explained.

They got out and went inside. The living room was huge with a large grey sectional that looked like it could easily seat twelve people. There was an extremely large tv hanging on the wall. Looking up you can see parts of the second level.

The kitchen was extremely large. There’s a square island in the center with bar stools around it. Beautiful white marble countertops and stainless-steel appliances.

The bedroom was large and open done in several shades of grey. Large floor length windows with blinds that can shut out the light or let it in. The bathroom was a dream come true. His and her sinks, large shower big enough for about 5 people.

A nice bench ran along one side of the shower unit. On the other side was a large tub you could sink into with jets. There were three other bedrooms unfinished. Then Jax lead her to the bedroom beside the master. It was a fully decorated nursery. Raine was so overwhelmed with emotions.

“Baby, don’t cry.” Jax soothed.

“Dang hormones.” Raine cried.

“When are we moving?” “The guys started packing the minute we left. I don’t want you lifting a finger. Your girls, the club Old ladies and the brothers will be packing and unpacking everything.” Jax explained.

“Well, how about I order a bunch of pizzas to feed everyone?” Raine asked.

“Sounds good baby. Have them delivered.” Jax replied.

Raine ordered the pizzas. Their stuff got packed, moved, and unpacked.

“It’s so unfair!” Kim cried. “Just as I moved in you’re moving out.”

“I know. But the clubhouse is no place to raise a baby.” Raine explained.

“You know, the lot beside us is for sale. You could have a house built.” Jax replied.

Kim looked at Ice.

“We’ll discuss it later Red.” Ice replied.

“Where’s Sam and Smokey? If they are fucking in my house, I’m going to beat them both to death!” Raine retorted.

“Oh yeah I forgot. Sam got called in to work. Something about two nurses out with the flu.” Jax explained.

“You know I don’t like you around her with her being around a lot of sick people. Especially with you being so close to delivery.” Jax warned.

“Sam knows to clean up before she leaves the hospital. She knows how to be careful.” Raine explained.

“I don’t like it!” Jax replied.

“We’ll be fine. Now go run everyone off. I want to be alone with my husband.” Raine replied.

“I’m loving those pregnancy hormones!” Jax growled.

Grand Opening KIM & ICE

“I’ve finally decided on a name for the Salon!” Kim replied.

“Ok. Let’s hear it.” Ice replied.

“Fire and Ice.” Kim replied.

“It fits us perfect! You miss Red are the fire and I’m the Ice.” Ice laughed.

“So, did they accept the bid on the building you found?” Kim asked.

“I’m still waiting to hear back from the agent. Should be anytime now.” Ice explained.© NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

“I really want that building. I think it’s the perfect location. I am still really terrified of failing, but mostly of disappointing you. Making you and the club lose money.” Kim sighed.

“You have nothing to worry about. I could buy the building and everything myself, but I know it would disappoint the club. But failure ain’t in your cards baby.” Ice assured her.

“I hope you’re right.” Kim replied.

“So, since my name is in the name, does that mean I have a job now? I mean I am officially retired and out of a job.” Ice laughed.

“Sure babe. You can be my shampoo boy.” Kim laughed.

“Yeah. Not happening. The only hair besides mine that I will wash is yours.” Ice growled.

“Well, I don’t know what else you could do. Answer the phone and make appointments?” Kim laughed.

“Sure, I could do that.” Ice confirmed.

“I was kidding. You’re joking right?” Kim asked.

“I mean Ginger, I. T.’s old lady asked to do it. She wanted to learn how to do nails. I figured she would be perfect for the job until she gets her license to do nails.” Kim explained.

“Well then, I can sit in the office and protect and manage you.” Ice smirked.

“Ah, no!” Kim disagreed.

The bid got approved and the sale went through on the building. They got it set up and got the equipment ordered and delivered.

It’s finally the day of the grand opening. The word Fire is done with flames and the word Ice is done in cold blue. The shop was done in red and blue keeping with the theme.

“So, you got hair, nails, pedicures, facials, and tanning. Only other thing you need is a masseuse for massages and you’ll be full-service salon!” Raine said excitedly.

“Yeah, we can always build on to the back of the building another room.” Ice replied.

“Let’s get this accomplished first!” Kim replied.
