“What do you want?” Hannah asked angrily at him for taking sides with Rhoda at the grocery store earlier.

“We need to talk,” Brandon said coldly and Hannah stared at him for a few seconds before standing up from the ground.

“Go to sleep now, sweethearts. It’s late already. I love you all” Hannah said as she kissed them on their forehead.

The kids nodded obediently and climbed into their bed, Hannah covered them with the duvet.

“Good night Mommy, Good night Daddy,” the kids said at once.

“Good night little armies” Brandon muttered and Hannah shot him a deadly glare.

They both walked out of the room, and Hannah closed the door behind her.

“Why did you call them little armies?” Hannah asked angrily

“Why are you so pissed I called them little armies. Seems like they are fighters like their mom and I overheard them telling you, peace is for the weak, that’s why I called them little armies” Brandon said and scoffed.

“What do you want to talk about?” Hannah asked

“About that scene, you pulled at the grocery store” Brandon announced

“What happened?” Hannah asked, pretending not to know what he was talking about.

“Seriously, you are asking me what happened? You almost killed Rhoda, what if I didn’t come in time to stop the fight? You would have killed her. Fuck!! Did you see the damage you caused to her face and do you know there’s every probability, what just happened would be on the internet by tomorrow if it’s not already” Brandon said angrily and Hannah sneered.

“Why are you so pissed that I beat her up? Is she your lover?” Hannah asked and Brandon stared at her without saying a word.

“Wow, I knew it, no wonder you were defending her. She’s your lover. That whore! You both match each other. A dumb ass CEO and a whore!” Hannah said with pure hatred in her eyes and was about to walk past Brandon but he held her arms and pulled her back roughly.

“Don’t you dare touch me” Hannah said and slapped his hands off.

“Don’t you have any shame woman!!! For God’s sake, you are a mother of eight kids, you should have some shame and stop acting like a child” Brandon said and Hannah smiled at him.

“However I act, it’s none of your concern. You should go back to your lover, besides she needs you by her side now she’s badly injured” Hannah said and walked inside her room.

He owes her no explanation, besides their marriage is a contract marriage and nothing more. She can think whatever she wants, he didn’t care, he thought.

Brandon walked inside the room and stood staring at Hannah who pretended like she was looking for something in her wardrobe.

Brandon stared at the petite woman, she looked so petite and fragile, he wondered how she got that so much strength to beat up Rhoda, she never seems to amaze me, Brandon thought.

Hannah turned swiftly and saw Brandon staring at her.

“What do you want? You should leave my room immediately, I do not want anything to do with you,” Hannah said as she closed her wardrobe.

She saw he wasn’t willing to leave.

“If you do not leave, I will. You can have the room to yourself” Hannah said and was about to walk past Brandon but he was quick to hold her, and he pulled her back.

He pulled her towards the wall, staring deep into her eyes like he was searching for something, Hannah became numb immediately. Her looks were immediately replaced with fear when she saw the anger in his eyes.

His face moved towards hers, with the both of them feeling each other’s breath.

Brandon moved his lips to her ear and whispered, “You don’t walk out on me, it’s disrespectful, I won’t take such an attitude from you” Brandon said and immediately he pulled away like something had gone wrong.

He stared at her with a strange look and then look away from her.

“My Grandma and sister will be coming over tomorrow, I want us to act like a real couple and like we are into each other. I do not want them to start thinking it’s a fake marriage and you and your kids must be on your best behaviors” Brandon said coldly and with that, he walked out of the room.

Immediately, he walked out, Hannah sighed softly and sat on the bed. She placed her hands on her chest and took a deep breath.

“That bastard!!” Hannah thought. She wondered what just happened just now. Why did she feel so nervous around him, there was this spark she felt when he whispered into her ears.

She quickly shook off the thought. She hated Brandon and hated him the more as she finds out, both he and Rhoda are lovers.

She couldn’t believe it, she thought Jeff and Rhoda were a couple, how come Brandon and Rhoda are now lovers, she thought silently.

She had remembered Rhoda saying Jeff had thrown her out of the house, she sighed at the thought of it. She deserves it anyways, Hannah thought.

Anyways, she was glad she dealt with her, she would not mess with her again the next time she sees her, she thought as she lay on the bed.

Brandon on the other hand, said his Grandma and sister are coming over, why do I have a bad feeling about this? Hannah thought tiredly as she walked towards her bed and laid on it.

It was morning again and another new day. Brandon and Hannah are seen arguing.

Brandon had asked Hannah not to take the kids to school, that they needed to welcome his grandma home together. He didn’t want the same kids to be at school when his grandma arrived.

Hannah didn’t agree in the first place, but she later agreed. Even though she was angry at Brandon and he was angry at her, they needed to put their differences aside and put an act in front of her grandma.

“Sir your grandma and sister are both here” a maid announced and everywhere went silent like a graveyard.
