Immediately, his car drove out of the hospital compound, Jeff’s car rode in. Jeff alighted the car and walked inside the hospital to Hannah’s ward.

Jeff got to the receptionist and asked for Hannah’s ward but the nurse in charge said there was no woman with the name Hannah in their register. Then he remembered Hannah is married to Brandon Colby.

As much as he hated the fact that he was going to call Hannah Mrs. Colby, he felt he had no choice.

“Mrs. Colby,” Jeff said to the nurse who checked the register and muttered an oh.

“Oh, you mean Cinderella Colby, she’s in room 009,” The nurse said and Brandon stared at her confused.

Cinderella? When the hell did Hannah start going by the name Cinderella? He thought as he muttered a thank you to the nurse before walking towards the ward.

He walked inside his ward and to his surprise he saw Hannah sitting on the bed with a guy standing close to her. Hannah was smiling at the guy.

Jeff stared closely at the guy and saw it wasn’t Brandon, he wondered who the guy was.

Finally, Hannah and Micheal had noticed Jeff’s Presence in the room. They were both surprised to see him.

Before Arianna had hired Micheal Adams to protect Hannah, he had made sure she told him everything he needed to know. Micheal had done his research too and he recognized this man with them in the room; he knew Jeff Mikealson is the Ex husband of Hannah.

“Jeff!” Hannah muttered calmly with a shocked expression on her face. She then quickly replaced the look with an angry expression.

“How are you feeling?” Jeff asked as he stared at Hannah and then at the man standing beside her.

“I’m okay and what are you doing here?” Hannah asked calmly. She was trying as much as possible not to be rude to him as she was trying to control her anger.

The more time Jeff spent in that room, the more memories of what had happened in the past just kept coming to her head and she felt like putting a knife through his chest. This man had hurt her so much in the past. She went through a lot because of him.

“I heard you were shot, so I had to……”

“And how the hell did you hear I was shot?” Hannah said, cutting his speech off.

“News travels very fast, Hannah. Besides it’s all over the TV and a lot of people think you are dead” Jeff said and Hannah scoffed.

“And thank Goodness I ain’t dead just the way you wanted me dead,” Hannah said with gritted teeth. Jeff could feel the anger coming from Hannah’s tone. This woman hates him a lot. He hurt her feelings. He needed to make up for what he did to her.

“I need to speak with you Hannah,” Jeff said and then raised his head to stare at Micheal.

“Alone!” Jeff said and Hannah chuckled slightly.

“He’s going anywhere, you can say whatever you want to say in his presence,” Hannah said, obviously irritated by Jeff’s presence.

“Hannah, I know you hate me a lot. What do you want me to do just to prove to you that I’m sorry and I’m a changed man” Jeff said and Hannah laughed. She didn’t know why but she finds what jeff says so funny.

“A changed man? Oh common Jeff, a chameleon will always be a chameleon and a rat will always be a rat, the same way a cheater will always be a cheater and a liar will always be a liar and a betrayer will always be a betrayer” Hannah spat as she clenched her fist together.

She remembered the day the incident had happened. The day her life was ruined. How she had lost her job, lost a roof over her head, lost her marriage, and worst of all she was raped. She’s gone through all of that because of Jeff and he wants her to forgive him, never. She thought angrily.

“Hannah I…….”

“Get out Jeff, Get out,” Hannah said, cutting his speech off and Jeff’s face fell instantly.

“Okay, fine, I agree, I was once in love with you when I didn’t know who you truly were but sorry, those feelings died a long time ago and I no longer love you.

I love my husband, Brandon Colby, I love him so much” Hannah said and she noticed the look on Jeff’s face. He felt so angry as he clenched his fist. Hannah smiled inwardly as she knew her words were getting to him.

“He’s the best thing that has ever happened to me. He’s a good man and would never betray me, unlike you. And his family likes me a lot” Hannah lied knowing fully well what she had just said was a big fat lie. Brandon’s family didn’t like her at all, his Grandma was the worst of all.

“Really? His family loves you a lot. What if I shock you by telling you one of his family members was the one that tried killing you” Brandon said and Hannah stared at him with a confused expression on her face.

“What are you talking about?” Hannah asked and Jeff sighed and tried moving towards Hannah but Micheal stood in his front blocking his way.

“Get out of my way,” Jeff said, and Micheal stood still while staring at Jeff straight in the eyes without uttering a word.

“Get out of my way. Who are you and how dare you stand in my way? Do you know who I am?” Jeff said and Micheal sighed softly then brought out his identity badge and showed it to Jeff, FBI was written on it, with the name Micheal Adams.

“I would advise you to step back and not move any closer to Mrs Mackenzie,” Micheal said and Jeff gave him a confused look and a cold look too.

The nurse had called Hannah, Cinderella. And now the so-called FBI Agent, Micheal Adams had just called her Mrs. Mackenzie. What about the name Hannah Rodriguez? Doesn’t she go by that name anymore? He asked no one in particular.

“I would advise you to leave, Jeff” Hannah said and Jeff stared at Hannah angrily. He’s already tried his best in trying to get her back in the soft way but she seems hard.

Well, he guessed it was time he forced her into coming back to him and he was going to do anything in his power to get her back, he thought with a clenched fist, and with that, he walked out of the ward.

Hannah Exhaled Deeply as he walked out of the ward.

“Are you alright Mrs Mackenzie?” Micheal asked in a concerned tone.

“Yes, I’m okay,” Hannah said and Micheal nodded in response.

“You didn’t tell me you were an FBI Agent,” Hannah said

“You didn’t ask me, ma’am, ” Micheal said and Hannah smiled at him.

“There’s no need to call me ma’am, you can call me Hannah” Hannah said and Micheal nodded in response.

“I didn’t get to thank you enough earlier. Thank you, Michael. Thank you for saving my life earlier today” Hannah said with a smile on her face.

“It’s nothing, ma’am, I was only doing my job,” Micheal said and Hannah sighed softly. Okay, he just called me ma’am again, she thought.

“Do you have any idea what he meant by one of his family members is the one who tried to kill you? Is there anyone in the family you know that would do such?” Micheal asked and Hannah sighed softly.

She knows who it was and who had wanted to get rid of her from the first day they had met.

It’s no other person than Elizabeth Colby.
